Perseus had always considered herself lucky to have been blessed with seer powers. That was, until the time she saw something she shouldn’t have. One fateful night, she was awoken from her sleep, by a vision of her queen being attacked by an unknown figure. Knowing the queen was still in grave danger, she rushed to her feet, making her way down to the throne room. Though by the time she got there, it was too late, and the queen was already dead. But perhaps the most shocking part was the true identity of the killer- which was none other than her power-hungry cousin, Derecho. Not expecting to be caught, Derecho became panicked, and attempted to kill her. While being attacked, Perseus just narrowly managed to escape through out a window. Derecho took this opportunity to frame Perseus for the queen’s death, issuing her arrest warrant. Perseus was in danger, with no idea on what to do or how she could avoid this. But then, she was unexpectedly approached by Derecho’s all-seeing sister, Tourmaline. Upon hearing of Perseus’ alleged murder, Tourmaline had looked into the past to see what really happened, and learned the truth. Tourmaline offered her home to shelter Perseus from any harm, to which she gratefully accepted. Now, Perseus spends her time in hiding in Tourmaline’s basement, away from trouble. She still gets visions from time to time, but can’t do anything about them in her current position, which frustrates her.

"Dragons born with unusual plague eyes have the ability to peer into the present and see things happening at this very moment, albeit not willingly. Their visions are limited to things that are sick, dead, or dying. They get their visions randomly, and cannot control them. Training can help them learn how to control their visions."
