Biography
Chosen Mate: ???
Good Point: Protective
Bad Point: Easily brought to tears
Role: Seer/Background Checker
As a young dragon, Adriel had a talent. One that was difficult, if not impossible, to control at that point in her life. Visions would come to her, seemingly from nowhere, of things that had already come to pass. Her father, of course, was an accomplished seer and knew well of what powers Adriel had - and was the first to tell her what she was going through. The young imperial was from a lineage of seers, but her gift was not refined. Her talent, untrained. If she wished to better control this, to know when they'd come or perhaps call upon them as she wished every now and then, she would need to train. And for Adriel, this meant traveling - there was only so much to learn by staying within the Viridian Labyrinth.
Many things happened throughout her travels. For one, she found she had a knack for hunting. It made getting her meals on the go far easier. Another thing she learned was that her visions always pertained to the past, and always to that which was currently alive. They'd shown her plenty of things along the way - none of which seemed relevant until she glimpsed the sight of a mirror within the Scarred Wasteland speaking of her visions from Plaguebringer. They had oracles and seers there? It had caught her off-guard, but perhaps this could help her. While Water's territory had plenty of seers of their own, it was arguably a harder land for an imperial to traverse than the wasteland was.
And so she'd made her way to Plague's domain. After some searching and more visions, she learned that she had witnessed a high-ranking Necromancer within her visions - something that several dragons told her had to be a sign to see this dragon. With the status that mirror held, it wasn't hard to find her and seek advice. The mirror, Mayu, didn't have much she could impart onto Adriel directly, but she was able to direct her to a Water-born seer as well as one of her own Necroservi to be her teachers. Together, they could help her refine her talent, both gaining more control and understanding of her visions.
And after untold days and nights training, it paid off. Though her control would never be perfect, Adriel could predict when her visions were coming and, with enough focus, will one to come to her. Having stayed with the clan and its Necromancers for so long, she'd grown attached to them and found it difficult to leave - but finding a job among them to do was also difficult. Well, until she met Crotalus. A resourceful sandsurge, he believed that the imperial's abilities would make her a great help with background checks. Of course, he wasn't going to make her work for nothing, and offered Adriel ample compensation for all her work. She'd learned a bit about this dragon thanks to both living with Woodblight for so long and her visions, and knew he was a straightforward individual when it came to these proposals and fully intended on making good on his offers. Adriel accepted, happy to have a way to use her abilities to help others.
Adriel is a kind-hearted dragon, who only seeks to help others where she can. She has a talent for hunting, being capable of catching some of the more difficult prey around with less of a struggle than most would have. While it might take a bit to get her to open up to people, Adriel is warm to those she's bonded with and is notably gentle with hatchlings and smaller dragons. She makes an incredible meaty stew, and is more than happy to share it with others.
Her training having taken place where it has, she has gained a natural respect for Necromancers and holds oracles in particular in high regard. Mayu and Apollo are the two people she trusts most and her confidants, and she tends to be the one to remind her boss, Crotalus, to actually rest and not work himself ragged.
For all that she is good at, however, she has a hard time holding back tears for any reason. Joy, anger, sorrow - if it can make a dragon cry, Adriel will be pouring out the tears. It makes it incredibly easy to read when she's feeling a particularly powerful emotion. Her visions still come randomly and without provocation, but she now has a better read on when they're coming and can mentally prepare herself for them. She also has the ability, through her training, to focus intensely to call upon one for a particular individual - though there's no guarantee it'll be anything of value. It's draining to try and push for a vision, so Adriel can only do it so many times in a day before she simply can't try any more.

Dragons born with uncommon nature eyes have the ability to peer into the past, albeit not willingly. Their visions are limited to things that are alive. They get their visions randomly, and cannot control them. Training can help them learn how to control their visions.
