Hello: > FbConnectionStringBuilder FBConnectionObj = new > FbConnectionStringBuilder(); > > FBConnectionObj.Database = "E:/Program > Files/Firebird/Firebird_2_0/data/futbolwebsites.fdb"; It's fixed in CVS now, looks like the DbConnectionStringBuilder.ConnectionString quotes values that have spaces ... and that was causing problems on the FbConnectionString class. -- Un saludo Carlos Guzmán Álvarez Vigo-España "La manera más profunda de sentir una cosa es sufrir por ella." |

No. v2.0 Alpha. I am sure if you do the simplest stored procedure from the employee database, that will do it. I use Database Workbench to auto generate the "SELECT" stored procedure. I am also more then happy to send you the database. I am using FB 2.0 alpha 2. When I try and code in VS 2005 I keep getting this error: Method 'CheckName' in type 'FirebirdSql.Data.FirebirdClient.FbParameterCollection' from assembly 'FirebirdSql.Data.FirebirdClient, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=fa843d180294369d' does not have an implementation. Carlos, I know you mentioned something about the 'CheckName' method being obsolete. I am beginning to wonder if it has something to do with having 1.1 and 2.0 on the same machine. I know they say it should work just fine, but could I have something messed up and the .NET data provider is inheriting from 1.1 instead of 2.0? Does that make sense? It has been a long day and I am incredibly tired. Thanks for your help. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. Or just copies of anything you have working in a current project. I will try to make a GettingStarted.txt file if some one will throw me some bits to start with. Thanks PS - Using VS 2005 Thomas Miller wrote: > I am very new with VS.
