make sure you add an "@" to your input parameter

It's fixed in CVS now, looks like the 
DbConnectionStringBuilder.ConnectionString quotes values that have 
spaces ... and that was causing problems on the FbConnectionString class.

No.   v2.0 Alpha.   I am sure if you do the simplest stored procedure 
from the
employee database, that will do it.  I use Database Workbench to auto
generate the "SELECT" stored procedure.

I am also more then happy to send you the database.  I am using FB 2.0 
alpha 2.

Well, depends, if you are not using connection pooling yes, if you are 
using it no, when using connection pooling connections that are closed 
or disposed returns back to the pool and they are not really closed 
until their life time expires

I have installed firebird data provider on delphi 2005 and works fine.
Anyone can help me to create a litle asp.net application, with a DBWebGrid 
with a simple select?
What's the steps? What the componentes to use? What the aggregates must 
exists?

Thomas, That would have worked great if I was working on an ASP.NET project.
Unfortunately I am working on a class library. Know of any other products
that might help? I did a quick Google search and haven't found anything yet,

the "DataBase" parameter is only changed (example:
database=3D/opt/firebird/data/test.fdb)

I see that this has not been implemented yet (so it shows in the Server 
Palette).  Any
basic examples of connection strings etc. that you can point me too.  Or 
just
copies of anything you have working in a current project.  I will try to 
make a
GettingStarted.txt file if some one will throw me some bits to start with.
