Making a Hawkeye centric whumplist for M*A*S*H because I’m having a tough couple of days and I need something to keep my mind occupied- Currently only through Season 8- enjoy!
I'm just getting into M*A*S*H for the first time, and there are so many great little whump moments in it. Which is your favorite? (Mine is when Hawkeye has to leave OR to throw up in Fallen Idol)
*gasps* MASH IS THE BEST!!! AHHHHH!!!! That is one of my all time favorite shows. You will not regret watching it!!!!
Oh my gosh favorite whumps. Oh boy where to start lol. Okay so I’m a huge BJ fan so 9x10 Operation Friendship when he hurts his arm, 8x06 Period of Adjustment when he gets super emotional, 9x14 getting emotional on his anniversary, the opener to season 4 when he first arrives and pukes in the ditch and 5x07 when he’s shot in the leg are my faaaaavs.
Then with Hawkeye we have a damn gold mine: 5x03 when he gets blinded, his claustrophobia in 7x21, 4x19 when he spends the whole episode with a concussion, 2x11 when he’s sick but has to keep working, and 2x05 his exhaustion. And omg yes Fallen Idol is super good too!!!
Damn now I wanna rewatch M*A*S*H lol. Not a bad idea…..
A lot of nice songs came out of that war. I’ll be home for Christmas, you can count on me… You know that song? I remember lying on the rug, listening to them sing that on the radio. I can still smell the rug. Please have snow, and mistletoe, and presents on tree… A lot of very touching songs came out of that war.
