These people are scammers. I signed a one-year contract with them, and even after the contract ended, they are still taking money from me. I asked them to cancel my contract, but they continue to charge me, even though it has been one month since I told them to stop it. Please do not sign with them you will end up paying for life.

I used to go to Neoness Bastille. It’s a nice, spacious gym with great equipment, but issues began when the air conditioning stopped working in spring 2024. It grew increasingly hot, and by summer, the temperature was so unbearable that I felt nauseous during workouts and couldn’t use the gym at all. I asked the front desk about this on three occasions, and each time I was assured the issue would be fixed within a few weeks. However, nothing ever changed. I couldn’t work out all summer, yet I was still charged.
Additionally, during my trial period, I requested to switch to a cheaper subscription plan. The desk attendant assured me the change was made, but I continued to be billed at the higher rate. After the trial period, there was apparently “insufficient proof” to adjust my charges. My friend also had extra charges on her monthly bill for snacks she never purchased, as well as "repair" fees.
Overall, the lack of transparency and added charges have left me feeling scammed.

The new equipments are amazing! The machines are very easy to use. I use mostly the cardio machines and weighs area. Lightings are good as well, just the sportlights that are quite glaring could be adjusted better. But the rooms are pleasant and no unpleasant smell. The atmosphere of the overall is well ventillated.
One downside of this particular sport branch (Bourse) is however the team at the reception. Very unfriendly, non-responsive, not friendly. Usually on their phones or looking into the screen ignorantly while people come and go. not even a bonjour. The best to ignore them as they ignore you. And I have heard numerous people having the same sentiment as me. It is a pity. People have fled to other branches like Madeleine and Greneta as they are friendlier and warmer.

Neoness suddenly put an end to its extremely popular group classes and kept advertising as if the change was for the better... what a mess Neoness!
Since January 2, group classes are now suddenly limited to 15 people, have been severely reduced, and ALL available upcoming classes are fully booked in all of Paris for the next couple of weeks! This was a sudden change and not at all the contract I signed up for
Please everyone go on Signal Conso and submit a claim - this is unacceptable
I echo the bad cancellation experience of other reviewers. They write in one of the replies here "Termination of subscription can be done very easily on the terminals available at the reception of each club". Well that is exactly what the manager of the Marseilles club did right in front of us and even said we may be refunded. Then later we received a letter from a debt collection agency for the 4 months period from the end of the year we had already paid in advance to the date when the club closed due to lockdown. Whilst I sympathise with their cash shortfall due to the stupid lockdown they obviously reverse cancellations done at the terminal in the hope nobody notices and then make you jump through hoops to cancel later. If the club hadn't closed no doubt the bill would have been bigger. Disgusting!

Completely rip off gym. I subscribed to their service in september 2019 for 12 months with engagement contract in Paris. They kept charging my account event after the contract is over. I have contacted them several time, they kept saying its automatic renewal etc. How on earth you can have automatic renewal for a 12 month contract? In their website, in the FAQ section they say, termination will take effect immediately after the commitment period. I had to leave France, to India due to family emergency during the covid period. Its neither possible for me to visit their clubs physically nor send letters to them. Also any communication about this automatic renewal is not clearly communicated to the customer by the people at the reception desk, nor clearly mentioned in their website where they show the different packages. It is deliberately hidden and to make sure to extract more money from the customer. As I closed my bank account, they could not charge me for those outside contract payments, hence they have shown it as default and using private agency to extract money. Such a scam!

I signed up for Neoness online while I was living in Paris, and so believed I would be able to cancel the membership online too. This is, for some reason, not possible.
If you want to pause or cancel your membership, you have to 'prove' why you are cancelling it, with a doctors note or proof of plane tickets. For a gym, not a workplace, I believe this is bizarre.
To sign up, you have to provide your passport or another form of ID. This is also bizarre.
They continue to take fees from you even after cancelling.
At the gyms, there isn't much by way of sanitation - when I have been to gyms in the UK, there are disinfectant sprays and tissues to wipe down equipment after use. There isn't any here, and you will get on equipment damp with someone else's sweat.
Additionally, there always seemed to be issues with the electronic screens at the gym's entrance. I took a friend with me a few times as it is free to do so which is probably the only positive thing I can say about the gym, and you can only add your friend to your session by using the screen. This never worked - your friend has to receive an email confirmation, and the confirmation never came through until about an hour later when you were already leaving -, and you have to spend ages waiting for the person behind the counter to pay attention to you, and even then they make it seem like a much more difficult situation than it is.
They make cancelling very difficult, as the information is very much buried within the lengthy contract, and on their website it says you have to go in-person to cancel. I was unable to go in-person, and contacted online about this, to which I received no response until I received a letter demanding I paid extra cancellation fees. I believe that this difficulty surrounding cancellation is very deliberate in its intention to take advantage of their customers, and I would therefore not recommend even if it were the last gym in Paris.
Go elsewhere.

Very poor client service. They frequently mislead their customers - you will get different information at the gym desk and from their website customer service
Poor service, no Covid-19 countermeasures, and terrible assistance.

Everyone here is absolutely right. This gym is a ripoff. I closed my account in September 2020 and they started deducting my back account this month. I wrote to them to ask why are they charging my account when I closed my account. They told me they only see that I inquired about to close my account and they will need proof. This is ridicules. They need to better train their team. I made a special trip to the gym to close my account only to be told I have to do online. I do what I am told and as year later you charge account for a membership I never used fully used.

Hands off!!! It's very easy to sign a contract and pay, but it's extremely difficult to terminate or cancel a subscription. Sometimes it's technically not possible at the terminals in the club, and then the only accept it by written registered mail (not email). It's also not possible to contact them by phone or by chat. You can't rely on what the staff member and trainer tell you about your contract. They keep on withdrawing money from your account...

200 € for only 2 days of gym on lockdown period. It's pure beaurocracy to take advantage of people who doesn't speak french.
