If you want to return your purchase be aware that it's impossible. Courier needs details about S.M-company, but they don't give all information (phone number) about themselves. Even you would like to pay that return by yourself. Bad vibes, thanks.
Terrible customer service
Early December, I bought a pair of boots as a Xmas gift for my daughter but size was not correct. Steve Madden refused to replace them becaise it was outside the 2 week period. I boughr a new pair to make sure that my daughter got what she asked for, told her that I would never buy Steve Madden again even when she asks for it and took myself out of their mailing list. Case closed as far as I´m concerned: never again.

Followed the sizing recommandations which were unfortunately really off and incorrect. Decided to return the shoes (12+ euros) and asked for a discount (free shipping) to get the correct size in a new purchase since exchange is not available. I really love S.M shoes and how they look like, but there are really big problems withe the size. I have 5 pairs, 4 same typs all ordered size 39(German size) and all of them are different 2 to small and 2 to big... you can see it immediately of you hold the shoes together, and sry for the price over 100 euro per pair...im very sad and will think about of I order again....

I ordered one pair of loafers which should have arrived within 9 days. But they actually arrived too late at a time when I was out of town for 2 weeks. A friend picked them up for me because otherwise the mail would have returned them. When I finally tried them on I couldn’t believe what was going on. Steve Madden has explicitly stated on their website that they recommend to order one size up. I usually fit 38 but since they recommended to do so I ordered size 39. and let me tell you it was the worst decision & I regretted it. The shoes were loose af. A few days later I decided to return them. But ten I had to face the next problem: the qr Code they sent me didn’t work at all. So I told the customer service what happened. A week later I got a response and guess what? It was an automated email! By the time the return deadline was overdue so I decided to go to the post office and send the shoes to them as if it were a regular package and then I again wrote an email. But some guy called Barry and another one called Mario were just insanely inhumane and didn’t give a damn. Like it’s their fault and now I had to pay the full price for the shoes. Now they are claiming that they haven’t received the return from me and here I am having wasted 98€ for shoes that apparently got lost and an extra 20€ for their stupid return package pricing. Which makes a total of -118€. Girls n guys: better do not order from steve madden. All they want is our money. They don’t even care about their customers no matter how much you spend and no matter if your package gets lost.

Steve madden do better... Still waiting for my order which is paid for, logged a client services ticket, but no resolution... definitely not buying from them again, waste of time, energy, and money. Buying from their website is dissapointing, time consuming and really just not worth it.
On their website they state, order before 12:00 next day delivery, its been 6 days and my order hasnt even been processed yet. Your client services cannot resolve this either... so you make people pay and then don't process their order...

My boyfriend ordered me a pair of heels from this company for Christmas - on their website directly under these same heels on their official website it states VERBATIM “Sizing recommendation: We recommend you order a size up”. My boyfriend therefore followed this advice in good faith relying on this to be correct, and ordered one size up from my usual size.
Well this advice was TOTALLY wrong - we are not talking they feel a bit roomy I mean there’s a whole inch and a half gap between my heel and the back of the shoe.
I emailed to complain and ask for an exchange/refund as this was no fault of me or my boyfriends, but their answer was it’s out of the 14 day window. This is where I explained this is not a “change of mind” return, but instead I am requesting action to be taken as Steve Madden themselves are in the wrong due to misleading sizing information as a purchase was made in good faith relying on their advice which was incorrect and therefore means the item was sold using misleading / misdescribed information on sizing.
While I understand their standard 14-day returns policy, statutory consumer rights apply where goods are misdescribed or sold using misleading guidance. I therefore requested a reasonable solution, such as an exchange for the correct size, return, or store credit to the value of the purchase.
I have sent about 3/4/5 emails now to their customer service explaining this clearly, politely and trying to resolve this issue amicably, but I have been palmed off with 2 replies from separate agents that were copy and pastes of each other basically saying “they will take this issue as feedback for future reference” which is appalling! And then being told it’s too bad as it’s outwith their 14 day returns - Despite me explaining why their internal policy is invalidated with my consumer acts. This has been repeatedly ignored.
I am now going to be contacting trading standards and receiving a chargeback for my boyfriend’s card as this is absolutely ridiculous!
If this company sees this and has the decency to reply please do get in contact - I would love to provide you with my boyfriends name, order number and any other details needed so that someone more competent can assist with this issue!
Avoid this company at all costs - other stores stock their items which mean you can avoid this shambles of a company at all costs!

Ordered same order at a reseller.
Next day the order was shipped. The email was plain wrong.
Customer support responded with a useless response. I asked them to cover the return shipping fee. They refused “sorry to hear you are not familiar with our return policy”.
Not even an apology for the false information in the order confirmation email.
The products are great so two stars.
