Faulty Items and Unauthorised Delays and Refunds

I am extremely disappointed with this experience and am leaving this review on principle, not because of the monetary value involved.

My order was placed on hold without my authorisation, which caused unnecessary delays. I was later required to pay return shipping costs despite the items being faulty, which is inconsistent with the business’s stated policy and Australian Consumer Law.

The blue outfit was defective, with visible tarnishing to the threads and failure of the lacing material. Photographic evidence was provided, yet my concerns were repeatedly dismissed.

Regarding the white set, I requested an exchange for the black set. Due to delayed communication, I placed a new order after clearly explaining the urgency, as the items were required for a wedding on 10 January. Despite this, the new order was again placed on hold without my consent. As a result, the replacement order did not arrive in time for the wedding, which was extremely disappointing.

Overall, this experience involved poor communication, unauthorised order handling, and failure to properly address faulty goods. I would urge others to be cautious before purchasing.

Specifically, for the blue dress — the Madeline Lace Embroidered Top & Maxi Skirt Set — the lace design visible on our website is identical to the one you received, which indicates there was no issue with the quality of the product itself. We addressed this in our communication on January 12th and kindly suggested that if the lace design wasn’t to your liking, it might be best to avoid lace-style dresses in the future. Additionally, the return and refund process for this order has been completed in accordance with our policy.

As for your second order, we would like to clarify that the estimated delivery time frame is as follows:

Processing time: 1–4 working days

Shipping time: 5–10 working days (excluding weekends)

Given that your order was placed on December 29th, it was unfortunately not possible for it to arrive in time for your wedding on January 10th, considering both the processing and shipping times. We understand how important this event was, which is why we proactively reached out to you on January 6th to inform you that delivery could not be made before your wedding. Please read the reviews before you buy from this company, it's relatively new (2022), and it seems like they don't like you returning any items so they deliberately ignore your emails.
I was wrong not to read the reviews before I purchased the dress. I am experiencing all the negative reviews that everyone else's has experienced.
Final warning please do not buy from this company. Order from your local company in your own country which offer you a friendly return.
Actually, when I ordered from this company I had no idea that it was in Hong Kong. I will never order from them again, i will stay with my local shops.

Please don’t buy from this company…

Please don’t buy from this company unless you are really sure of the size. I bought 3 dresses and all of them were big for me. Contacted the company with around 10 emails with photos of dresses and the tag attached . There has been no response from them. So please don’t buy from this company.

Was great at first then extremely bad

Review for Sunfere:

I purchased from Sunfere for the first time, and it took 7 days for the order to arrive. The dress was beautiful, and I reached out to them on Instagram—they were responsive.

However, the second order I placed on 06-01-2025 has not been shipped yet until today 13/1/2026. I have repeatedly contacted them on Instagram—they see the messages but do not reply, and there is no response via email.

This experience has been frustrating, and I would like to cancel the order if possible, as I am tired of this poor communication.

Frustrated, angry

I placed my order on 30/12/2025, and as of today it still hasn’t even been dispatched. I’ve sent two emails and received no response at all.

This is incredibly frustrating because this is what I planned to wear for an important occasion, and I’m now stuck in limbo with no idea whether it will arrive in time.

If it won’t be delivered, the least I deserve is to be told so I can make other arrangements. Being completely ignored is unacceptable.

Poor service provision


This company needs to be reported for a lack of honesty and transparency on their website. The dress I received was of very poor quality and did not match the description. I contacted the company on the same day I received the item, however they have repeatedly used delay tactics in responding. Now that more than 15 days have passed, they are refusing to issue a refund. This behaviour is misleading and highly concerning, and I believe it demonstrates unfair trading practices. This is a very dodgy company and should be investigated.
