No one attends the calls

I have an home insurance with problem with water, two weeks no reparation was mad and me waiting on a call for more than 45 minutes and still nobody attended me. This happens every time when I call. I don´t recomend!

Happy to take your money!

I submitted a home instance claim on the 15 December, the claim has been accepted and so far NOTHING has happened. (This is one month later!)

We call and leave messages to try to move the claim along and no one calls back so we can’t get the repair completed. The repair is urgent as the damage is dangerous!

It seems they just want to take the money and then not offer a service when they are needed.

I used to like Linea Directa but in future I think I will go elsewhere.

So… I replied to the below message from Linea Directa on the day they asked for further information and no one has been in contact about it. Why did they bother to ask for contact details if they don’t then use them?

I have been trying for 6 weeks to get…

I have been trying for 6 weeks to get in contact with them and they just don’t answer the phone, I’ve left dozens of messages and emails but nobody ever contacts me! It never used to be like this, I’ve used them for 10 years and they’ve always been great but now it’s terrible. Do not use this company.

Called the company to cancel our car…

Called the company to cancel our car insurance on four separate occasions. They assured me that the assurance was cancelled on the fourth time. Two months later. Get an email saying we are being charged because we did not write them a letter even though requested. Awful company, avoid this awful company.

Fantastic for home and car insurance…

Fantastic for home and car insurance that my wife and I have. we have always has fantastic service and help from everyone at Linea Directa over the years we have been with them. Ladrones Directa 2

They continue to lie, and are now hiding behind the ´well the 2 years have since passed so we dont have to do anything now´ stance. Of course I wasnt informed of their mistakes and the debts they accrued in my name, until many years later!!! Absolute scum company, not professional, just thieves.

Help lines a Joke service, Follow up worse, !!

Phones are meant to be answered, if you gonna make me listen to s*** muzak, then at least you pay for the call, 22 mins and gave up,

This gets worserer and worsere,, so the Customer support supervisors phones23 Nov,, me up to discuss my review and complaint of poor service, then puts me hold after 5 mins I hung up, ¬¬¬!! absolutely out of control, !!

And here we are 4th Jan 2026 , and still no effective progress!!

THIEVES!!

They have taken a 291€ payment from my personal account without authorisation and renewed a policy in my EX HUSBAND's name. I have been ignored on the phone yesterday, hung up on today and finally, placed on never ending hold, waiting for the non-existent person with authority Apparently it is perfectly legal that they do this and I need to sort it with my ex husband????
UPDATE:
So, here we are 7 days later and although they asked for more information to understand the problem and put things right...
..they still haven't given me back my money!!!

I only wanted an insurance quote for my motorcycle. When being asked questions about my circumstances and motorcycle usage, the sales woman asked if i had any body living with me under the age of 13. I said what has this got to do with this quote? Her response was 'I don't know, its on the computer!' I thought the quote was reasonable, but then i asked for the quote to be sent to me. Her response was, 'we don't do that!' That was enough for me to say goodbye!

The worst car insurance company ever

The worst car insurance company ever! My car was involved in an accident. They fixed the body damage but returned the car with leaking fluids and vibrating wheels. They refused to repair it as they believe they’ve fixed the damage, and you can’t even cancel your policy mid-term because they don’t offer refunds.

Durante los últimos 15 años, y desde el primer día que me uní a Línea Directa de seguros de coche como cliente británico, recibí un servicio excelente, amable, eficiente y atento. El personal siempre brindó un servicio excepcional, algo realmente sorprendente para una aseguradora española que ofrece el servicio en inglés, lo que facilita enormemente el trabajo a sus clientes extranjeros. Este tipo de servicio es ahora muy poco común y merece un gran reconocimiento.

For the past 15 years and from day one when I joined Linea Directa car insurance as a British customer I received an excellent, friendly, efficient and helpful service. The Staff constantly delivering an outstanding performance which truly amazing for an Spanish insurance company delivering the service in English language making it so easy for their foreign customers. This kind of service is now very rare and deserves big salute
