So this is a story to why Cardo is the best.
I’ve had the pack talk bold for some years now it’s great.
About 2 months ago I lost it, searched the house couldn’t find it, just today I had found it! Somehow it dropped off my helmet and landed in my front garden and has been out there for the past 2 months in the rain, snow and ice. I pick it up thinking god it’s broken. But no, I connect it and headed to work playing my music as if nothing happened!

I live in Canada, ride on weekends and only 5 months a year since we have winter. After a bit more than 2 years, my Cardo Pack Talk Edge went from lasting more than 7 to 10 hours to barely 2 hours.
I contacted Cardo as they mentioned a 3 years limited warranty. They made me test the FM radio only until it the battery died, it lasted 7 hours, so they said this was normal and of course, would not exchange the unit. 7 hours for only FM radio is ridiculous, I used to have this with GPS and music together!
Finally, they offered a rebate, well, that rebate is for their website in the US, so it would be cheaper to buy the unit in Canada without a rebate.
I will be going with another company as some of my friends have cheaper brands and they are still working as they just bought it!

The sound quality, connectivity, the user experience, it's all sublime and unmatched.
However their customer service is totally whacked.
I had an accident on the 10th of June and have (fortunately) since recovered.
The unit I had, a Packtalk, crashed into the ground.
The damage done to the unit because of this crash, is purely cosmetic. The unit itself can be plugged into the headset and all functions can be used. It works perfectly.
Yet when trying to contact Cardo, even though I'm so happy with the product, I cannot get the damaged cosmetic parts replaced. Not even repaired.
I think it's out of this world I need to pay another 300 euro's to replace my unit, even though the unit I have still works. I can't get it into my head that there is no repair possible.
I am so very much struggling to buy from you guys again. My wife needs her own unit as she started riding motorcycles, I was advising everyone around me to buy one (many people also did), and I was planning to buy another helmet and have the Cardo Packtalk Edge built into the helmet (integrated in the Schuberth C5).
Now I cannot make up my mind. How I wish your customer service would be helping instead of stating anything is impossible.

Waste of money
Cardo is expensive junk because it constantly disconnects from phone and won't connect to other riders, £280 wasted, I still have to pull over to talk to my pillion!

If I could rate this product and Cardo Systems customer service less than one star, I would. I purchased a Packtalk Edge two weeks ago, brand new from my local motorcycle dealer. I blindly followed the masses and great reviews thinking this was the best system on the market. I followed the instructions to the letter, installed the unit on a brand new helmet and took a 1600 km ride with it. I spent the entire trip trying to get this unit to work as advertised. It randomly connects, disconnects, loses comms randomly. Turns the radio on by itself, no voice function, it simply doesn’t work at all, the volume, (if the unit decides to work) randomly adjusts itself, even with automatic audio volume control in the off position. The sound quality is complete garbage to boot.
Cardo’s customer service is non existent!!! They have offered to have a look at this brand new unit, all I have to do is ship it back to them AT MY EXPENSE ! This is an over 400.00 purchase, a brand new unit, yet this is all they offer. My local dealer had told that they won’t return it as it was installed in my helmet. Cardo wants me out of pocket to ship it back with no assurance that I will even see this piece of garbage ever again.
My advice to people looking at purchasing an in-helmet communication system is to steer clear of any products bearing the Cardo name. This company and its policies are a disgrace.

Never ever works properly and extremely quiet
I purchased the pack talk edge. Only the intercom works ok but very quiet, so over 50mph can’t hear anything. Radio, music and sat nav has never ever worked properly. Awful product
PACKTALK EDGE
Absolutely awesome device, well made, battery last ages it looks cool, i absolutely love it.... My rides with music are just SO much better, i wish the speakers had abit more volume / clarity but this is splitting hairs. One thing that is annoying is the controls are simple to change music via the device, for example, listening to spotify with my phone in my side bag, one press of the volume dial pauses music, great.... then press it again and it switches over to a radio channel i was never listening too. Its really frustrating so i find myself turning down the volume instead of being able to do a quick mute.
As mentioned battery last ages. Bought with a new Ls2 dragon forged carbon helmet you get the vat off the unit. no brainer. Wish id have got the top unit now but.... the one under it still does the business :-)

My son and I just got the Cardo Packtalk Edge and LS 2 Advant X helmets. He got me one as my 72nd birthday present. I can't believe how well the Cardo works and how comfortable the LS 2 helmet is, and quite. My son had his chin guard up and there was no wind noise at all, none. the audio was clear and loud as could be. He was listening to music on his and it would lower the music volume when I spoke. at times we were about a half mile apart and you couldn't tell at all.
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a communications device (or helmet).
Absolutely terrible post purchase support
Packtalk edge issues with mic constantly disconnecting and been spamming support for a month with no luck. Started to comment on all their insta posts aswell giving them poor reviews and got a message instantly but no resolution yet. DO NOT BUY DIRECT, buy through someone locally who you can return to if you have issues.
Support service is a joke
Support service is a joke. They send you to fill in a ridiculous form that they never answer. The paradoxical thing is that on the web site you can read the following slogan: We are always here to help you. They are a joke... I've been writing for 2 weeks and there is no answer at all..... What happened Cardo Team, Elon arrived with the DOGE :)

I found the company to be quite unhelpful. I purchased the Spirit HD Duo Pack during a Valentine's promotion, only to later realize that there was an updated version available for a slightly higher price. When I contacted them to request a change, I was told that my item had already shipped, and they did not provide any assistance on how I could modify my order. This lack of support suggests that they are more interested in moving inventory than in serving their customers. Additionally, if you are ordering from Canada, be prepared for an extra $42 in taxes. I would advise against ordering directly from their.
