They prey on businesses outside of Germany who have no legal ability to report them to German authorities, meanwhile, they invoice them for services when customer service is completely non existent and the service is effectively unusable and actually bad for one's business. They are completely corrupt.

Jimdo is an organisation's nightmare: ugly website, limited options, and ridiculous cancellation policy. You have to give a month's notice to cancel the service, which means we're stuck with a website that nobody likes. Inflexible, outdated, and completely unsuitable. Avoid at all costs.

We've been Jimdo customers for almost 10 years, including 4 years with a Jimdo Pro subscription.
Our problems began when we couldn't pay an invoice using the link provided. We couldn't pay the invoice because access to our account and the Jimdo website was blocked. We sent numerous emails asking for alternatives—another payment method, a new link, because we were very eager and determined to pay and regain access to the website. To no avail.
We tried contacting customer support numerous times. We explained everything, the entire problem. All responses were generated by artificial intelligence. No support, no solution, nothing. We only received a payment link that didn't work and threats of a debt collection agency. Nothing.
Finally, Jimdo wrote that the deadline had passed and we were being transferred to a debt collection agency. We paid everything through the collection agency Pair Finance—our subscription plus interest. And still nothing. The website remains blocked. We've already sent Jimdo several emails confirming our payment, but no response—just automated replies about being overloaded. I don't understand: we paid, so why don't they unblock our website? This is how you lose customers and trust.
I feel completely ignored, disrespected, and exploited. All 10 years of work on the website blocked by artificial intelligence! And they immediately reply: "I'm sorry you felt ignored, disrespected..."
If this matter is not resolved immediately and our website access is not restored, we will be forced to seek legal recourse. We have documented all correspondence and payment confirmations, and we are prepared to file a complaint with consumer protection authorities.

I've created my account and started generating the website. I was asked for the name and it found my business's address. When I click next in the wizard, I get completely blank white page. I tried twice. There are React errors in Chrome dev console. No easy way to contact anyone to submit the screnshot. After two attempts and no way to complete the website creation, I deleted my account.

Jimdo has been hosting one of my websites for almost 10 years, so I thought it would be easy to add a second website for my new business. I tried to get my second website set up for weeks but only kept getting a canned response that said we will respond soon. After nearly 3 months, I finally got a response, but was unable to enter the proper settings. Again, no response and was told I would get a response if I had a paid service. I ordered the paid service only to receive a canned message that they would respond soon. Finally, after being so frustrated, I sent a cancelation request. I thought I could get a refund for my paid service since it was within 14 days. I finally got a real email response, and was told I couldn't get a refund because my account was for a business, not a personal account. I can't even begin to express how frustrating and disappointed I am with this whole process.

Back in the day, you could easily reach someone if you had a problem. Now? You sometimes have to wait days for an answer. The answers aren't clear, or they don't even tell you what you're asking. That chatbox is useless. You have to search forever to find what you're looking for. Jimdo has really fallen in my esteem. Prices are up, service is down!!!

Customer service is insufficient. Extremely slow to respond - if they respond. Also, every well known professional company these days do offer -at least- live chat to assist their clients no matter what client tier they are. Customers forget pricing -but not- awful customer service and this is something leaders at Jimdo do not understand. Competitors are getting better Jimdo - you are falling behind.

Yesterdays and todays experience with the support was absolutely horrible. Its AI and its really bad at what it is doing!
If you want to reach a human, first you need to find a helpcenter article that says that you need to talk with the chatbot, but you cannot say your problem to the chatbot because it wants you to select a predefined problem first and the list of course did not include my problem, so i was forced to game the system, then i had to press the "This was not helpful" button, which allowed me to send them an email, which i received a slop hallucination answer to and then i had to answer this to finally reach a human.
Horrible, horrible service. And that in a situation where i thought that they might have lost my domain and i wanted a quick answer.
I was really an advocate of jimdo because i have used their service for close to 15 years for multiple websites and its always been great but that is over, they just lost future sales by me and people i would have recommended the service to, because of ai.

I've been a Jimdo Pro customer for a few years, and my website has been hosted without problems.
However, for the past 2 weeks my site has been unavailable due to a technical error, and despite a number of attempts I've been unable to get any technical support.
Initial requests for support are routed via a chatbot which provides generic information that's been of no use in resolving the problem.
I've tried contacting two support email addresses, but from both of those I've received only auto-acknowledgement replies.
This is now a serious problem for me. Every day that my website is unavailable, I'm losing business revenue. I can't allow that to continue, so I'll have to look at hosting the content elsewhere, which will cost me time and money.
That's a frustrating and disappointing outcome, but unfortunately the lack of support from Jimdo has left me with no other choice.
UPDATE: the Jimdo team contacted me very quickly after I'd posted this review, and they helped me to resolve the problem. They were knowledgeable and good to deal with. It's just a shame that it was so difficult to get a response by the usual means.

Dear JIMDO team,
I have subscribed to your service for two years, and my invoice is Invoice No. INVD-11541585. However, my dashboard shows that I am on a free plan, and in several other places, I am prompted to upgrade. This is an error, as I have subscribed to and paid for the service.
Additionally, because I continued to see the free plan after having subscribed, I re-subscribed, which means I now have two subscriptions for the same service.
Could you please advise me on how to resolve this issue?
I also need guidance on how to publish my website, as it displays an error message when I try to access it via the domain.
