We got introduced to Cin7 Core last November when I signed up as Operations Manager for this job, I need to find a suitable ERP system to be implemented to complete the supply chain management. I have never regretted the choice I made and our small team are very happy about the easy to use, out from the box softwares with loads of expanding possibility.
Our onboard specialist is Dawn Martenstyne, we are lucky to have her because she worked with the customer who's distributing the same branded product as but in another region, which helps heaps to speed up our setup process.
Dawn also demonstrated a lot of integrations and functions we could implement in 6 months or more usage of Cin7 Core that could benefit our operations and improve efficiencies, we really lookforward to that too!
Over all, Cin7 Core is a well established ERP system which is suitbale for small to medium enterprises with big potentials to grow!
Cancellation requires a forced sales call – unacceptable practice. Also: customer service is abysmal
We decided to cancel Cin7 after paying roughly $10,000 per year for the software.
The problem is not the cancellation itself, but the process. Cin7 attempted to force a call as a prerequisite to cancelling the subscription, despite clear written notice from the business owner and final decision-maker. This feels like a retention tactic designed to create friction and delay rather than a legitimate contractual requirement.
As a business customer, my time is valuable. Requiring a call after a clear written cancellation request is unnecessary, disrespectful, and borderline abusive. A decision to cancel is final; a call does not change that.
If you are considering Cin7, be aware that offboarding is not frictionless and may involve pressure tactics at the end of the relationship. Software vendors should be judged not only by how they onboard customers, but by how they let them leave.

Absolutely non-existent customer…
Absolutely non-existent customer service. We have been being charged for an AI upgrade for months and despite numerous attempts to remove it, include multiple tickets, we cannot even get a response. There is no phone number, tickets take weeks to be responded to and are then closed even though the issue remains. Reporting is dismal. Functionality is meh. After a year with Cin7 I totally regret choosing them. Stay away from this overpriced and under-supported app.

Abinesh is so incredibly helpful and responsive. Whenever I need support to tackle a simple problem or a more complex issue with a workflow in Cin7, Abinesh will look into how to solve it. And if he doesn't know, he'll say that but seek out a solution from the team. Stellar customer service from this guy!

Abi offers great support for partners
Abinesh Jayarajan was able to quickly explain complicated workflows in Advanced Manufacturing and Co-Manufacturing.
Cin7 Core is capable of handling very complicated manufacturing and inventory requirements. At the same time, it is easier to use than larger competitors.
Cin7 offers great support for Partners especially, and Abi is a great example of this.
Overall
Overall, Cin7 Core has been a great fit for our business. The system meets our needs well - it’s straightforward to use without being overly complicated, and it offers strong functionality across the board. Our onboarding specialist, Dawn, was fantastic to work with and made the entire implementation process seamless. We’ve only just scratched the surface of what the platform can do, but we’re really happy with both the level of service and the system itself.
Cin7 Implementation Process
Our company purchased the Focused Package for Cin7 Core's implementation process.
First things first—I would DEFINITELY use some sort of implementation guidance. You don't know what you don't know and Cin7 is quite the rabbit hole, so don't underestimate it. The juice was definitely worth the squeeze. Our Cin7 implementation consultant, Lankani, was fantastic. She was very responsive and did an excellent job at explaining seemingly complex concepts in an easily digestible way. She was also quick to provide further guidance after the go-live implementation date. We had a couple hiccups once we gave everything the green light and she was quick to offer feedback, answer questions, and continue guidance in a timely manner.
Overall it was a great experience. The product itself is very robust and it's perfect for a growing company such as ours. When set up correctly, this product can be a game changer to your business!
Very good system and traning
Our company has for the first time moved to an inventory management system. After a lot of research, we settled on Cin7 Core. We have been using this system now for about 2 months and find the setup absolutely suits our business needs. The ability to control stock in multiple warehouses, products with multiple pricing tiers, purchase orders, sales orders, and stock reordering all in one place has been a game changer. This system does everything that our business needs. A huge thank you to Dawn Martenstyne who was our onboarding/trainer. Dawn covered all of our questions with ease and made the whole training process very smooth. Everything was explained in a way that made it easy to follow.
Stay away and look for better options. Used to be good, now it's a cash grab with 200% price increases in the last 5 years.
Stay away and look for other much more capable systems.
Pricing - they upped our pricing several times in the last 5 years and they provide better pricing on their website. But because I am a legacy customer I need to pay more because...they store our data? They just sent another price increase notice which will put the price at more than 200% increase in 5 years. They keep adding half baked features maybe to try and justify the price increase that we never used.
Reporting - you cannot have a report on Ordered amount - Invoiced amount - Left to invoice. Instead you need to download and combine reports trying to figure this out.
Woo integration - untouched for few years already. If you have a new product and you want to sync it with Cin 7? Cin 7 will sync all your Woo inventory - remove any customization you did in Cin 7 to your product list. Things like HS codes will be removed, categories will be removed, any sort of edits you did in Cin 7 are gone - and they support 1 category per product while Woo allows multiple.
Their support used to be much better before the purchase with an official whatsapp chat which is now dead. I talked about these issues with them multiple times and every time they just want another call - then they can't answer any questions during the call - they open a ticket to escalate the problem - and then when they don't have a solution they just close it.
