I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with this company and would strongly advise others to be cautious.

Shortly after submitting my initial claim, I informed them that I no longer wished to use their services as I decided to handle the matter myself. Despite this clear communication, they ignored my request and continued to act as if they were still representing my case.

There was little to no meaningful communication or evidence of progress with the airline, yet they are now attempting to charge me £260 for “work” that produced no results. I withdrew my consent early on, so I find it unacceptable that they are demanding payment and even mentioning legal action and debt collectors.

I have since requested full transcripts of communications, email exchanges, and a clear breakdown of what work was supposedly carried out. Until this evidence is provided, I dispute their claim entirely.

Overall, this experience has been stressful and unprofessional. Transparency and respect for client decisions were seriously lacking.

Flights-delayed.com is a scam

Flights-delayed.com, part of Yource, operates in a way that feels misleading and exploitative. Based on my experience, here’s why:

Misleading Promises
They claim to help passengers obtain cash compensation under EU Regulation 261/2004. However, if you accept an airline’s voucher (e.g., 800 EUR), they still invoice you based on the original cash claim (600 EUR)—even though they did not secure that amount for you.

Aggressive Billing & Hidden Terms
When questioned, they cite obscure clauses in their Terms & Conditions stating that any funds collected from the airline—regardless of whether their efforts contributed—are considered their success. They also prohibit passengers from communicating with the airline directly, which is unreasonable and traps customers.

Taking Credit Without Delivering
They send congratulatory emails claiming a “successful outcome” and immediately demand payment—even if the airline handled the compensation independently. This feels like they prioritize their fees over actual service.

Pressure Tactics
Their communication creates confusion, pressures clients to reject airline offers, and then locks them into paying 35% of the claim amount, even when they didn’t achieve the promised result.

Bottom line: Avoid flights-delayed.com. Their practices are deceptive, and their business model seems designed to profit from passengers rather than help them.

Dreadful

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. When my flight was delayed, I initially contacted them but decided not to proceed because they asked me to upload my passport/ID, which I was not comfortable doing. Instead, I submitted the required documents directly to the airline myself and received compensation without any help from Flight Delayed.

Despite the fact that I never completed my claim with them, and they did not provide any meaningful support, they are now contacting me to demand a percentage of my compensation. This is unreasonable and misleading — they did nothing to secure my claim, yet are trying to take credit for the outcome. . PLEASE do not contact this company.

Payments delayed

Mohamed Omar

This company absolutely shambles. Had flight delays with Air France on March this year and used flights delays.co.uk to claim compensation.

They won the case afterwards they claiming that they sent me €390 on 25/04/25 but still not received nothing
Contacted my bank and confirmed that no payment received yet
I’m not recommending to use this company to anyone contact the airline directly

Please avoid this shady company

This company is just one big shady business. They did nothing special for my case, they just forwarded my details and documents to the airline and waited for months for them to respond.
I was tired of waiting so I messaged them to cancel my claim. They said that it has been over 14days since I started the claim and if I want to quit I have to pay a fee! (They did nothing to this point and wanted a fee? for what?)
So I contacted the airline myself and they responded in few days! I got my 600€ from the airline by my doing.
In few days I got an email from FlightDelayed.co.uk that my claim was successfull and they wanted me to pay 35% from the 600€ I got (With another fees it was 210€)
I know that they did nothing, because after I got the money from the airline by submitting a claim directly through them. I did the same thing with my friends that were on the same plane, they got refunded as well in few days without any problems!
In the end I had to pay the 210€ because they started to threaten me with layers and even more fees if I don't pay.
"we will forward your dossier to our legal department and additional costs will incur of at least € 40,00."
I tried asking them of what they did that was worth 210€. Got no clear reply, just that they "continued working on my case"
PLEASE AVOID THIS SCHADY COMPANY!
Try to talk to your airline directly and fill their claim form. They have to compensate you if you're eligible, it's an EU law.
If there's other people that went through a same thing please help me spread this message and write your story.

3 years for nothing

My KLM flights were delayed so I missed a connection. Flight-delay.co.uk was handling the case for 2.5 years saying they've started a case in front of the court - but that was a lie.

After insisting about the status of my case in Jan 2025 - they said the case has been dropped because the airlines provided additional documents, and they attached me the KLM report. The report was from Aug 2023, so for a year and a half they couldn't let me know what was going on.

Liars, and bad customer experience.

Avoid them at all cost.

I used their service once and this was…

I used their service once and this was the first and last time. I got in contact with Ryanair and received their refund without Flight delay doing anything. Asked to stop the case and they did not even reply to my email. They just sent me an invoice stating that I had to pat 30% of the refund received. Absolutely avoid to use flight their services and try to deal directly with the airlines

Awful

Awful, frightening, scaremongering scammers.

Got a threatening letter demanding €280.35 that needed to be payed in 7days.
Did not proceed with the claim and went direct with Easyjet.

If anyone could advise me on what to do. Obviously dont want the bailiffs coming and certainly dont want to be blacklisted as they stated in the letter (only one letter) and emails.
