stealing money from the bank without warning
After I made an account, money started being withdrawn from my bank without my knowledge. I didn't see any information anywhere that the money is going to be charged and the membership costs as much as 130 dkk per month!!
I only noticed it after the money was charged the second time! I didn't receive any notifications about this in advance.
And I only ordered one book!
This has never happened to me before. I have become a member on many different websites hundreds of times, and I've never encountered anything like this.
Very disappointing!

When shopping at Plusbog, the standard (non-member) price is always preselected. The lower member price requires an active choice, and when the membership is selected, both the membership fee and the terms are clearly displayed below the price, in the shopping cart, at checkout, and in the emails sent afterward.
The membership includes a 7-day trial period, during which it can be canceled free of charge. Payments are therefore not made without consent, but only after the membership has been actively chosen and the terms accepted.
We understand that it can be disappointing if this information has been overlooked, but memberships with recurring payments are a common practice, and we strive to be as transparent as possible throughout the entire purchase journey.

delayed order and damaged book
The order was delayed, sent 8 days after I ordered, was not delivered in the promised time and the ordered book looks like it has been used and it has damaged cover. The customer service is utterly useless. The response from the Plusbog is not true, I have returned the book and awaiting the full refund. What’s not fair is selling a product in questionable condition claiming it’s brand new and then offering partial price reduction. Also if you run a book store learn how to pack your books properly

Subscribed without knowing it!
I bought a book at a decent price (not super discounted but fair) and I did not realize I had subscribed for any form or recurring payment. Today I see a bank charge of 129 dkk. Funny as I did not even create an account...this is robbery! I never consented to any subscription, this feels deceptive and borderline fraudulent. After reading their reply I am even more solid in my initial comment. If they were a serious company, seeing that so many people experience the same issue and that I did not benefit at all from the subscription, they would refund my money. Being unaware of it in fact, I never activated my account. But they don't, which is evidence of bad faith.

Warning: Membership Scam Alert!
I ordered a book from this website for 135kr. It mentioned a "membership price," but there was no clear information about any membership fee at the time of purchase. I unknowingly became a member, as the cost or terms were not clearly stated during the transaction or anywhere else on the site.
To my surprise, I was later charged 129kr in addition to the 135kr for the book. When I contacted customer service, they told me the 129kr was for a membership and non-refundable! I didn’t even realize I had signed up for.
In the end, the book ended up costing me almost double!
