Avoid Study.com at All Costs. A Complete Nightmare Experience
I have never had such a frustrating and dishonest experience with an online education platform. My subscription ended on June 19, but I had submitted all my assignments well before that date. The moment my subscription ended, I was hit with false accusations designed to force me into resubscribing just to resubmit the very same work I had already completed.
I fought tooth and nail to get my assignments graded without giving them more money. They eventually marked them, but then refused to release my final grade. It is now August 13 and I have still received no response. Because of this deliberate delay, I missed both my July and August deadlines to transfer my courses to WGU.
Their so-called “support” is a joke. They have no phone support whatsoever and their email support is nonexistent, sometimes taking three weeks to respond, sometimes never. I have sent multiple emails with no reply.
Study.com’s business practices are predatory and unethical. They hold your work hostage to squeeze more money from you and they clearly do not care about your academic goals. If you value your time, money, and sanity, stay far away from Study.com.
Pretty slow at grading
Pretty slow at grading, and the support is lackluster. Been waiting almost 2 weeks for an assignment grade, and my exam grade changed from a 98% to a pending. I tried to complete this before my ended monthly payment and they pushed the grading until the day after. So now I have submitted the assignment and I can’t even see if or when it will be graded.

My daughter completed the course with study.com 2 1/2 weeks before her financial check in deadline and still they have not graded/sent transcripts to her university.

I was tempted to change my credit card
It's impossible to get off their automatic billing. I've done it 3 times. They're sneaky assholes and never refund. They just go, "Okay, but we'll cancel it next month." We'll see if it ACTUALLY comes off the third time.
My guess is the techs either aren't doing their job right or set up a loophole the people in between can't get around on purpose. You take people's money when they're trying to save, any review is just going to be knocked down to 1. It's ironic coming from a place trying to make you smarter.

They hire professionals so they need your money to pay them either way they well find a way!! I finish my classes month ago but ti need to keep subscription 3 times to just wait for them to grade and transfer and see the whole grade..
AWFUL SUPPORT
The classes are good. The service is AWFUL. There is no way to speak with an actual human unless you call them out on social media, leave multiple voicemails to their direct-to-voicemail support line, and send multiple support tickets and emails, and threaten with a BBB complaint
Example 1 - I finished a course and was locked out of the final exam. They incorrectly input my assignment scores (50/50, 71/75, 67/75) as percentages: 50%, 71% and 67% respectively. It took 8 DAYS of the above tactics to finally get someone to tell me “oh it’s a backend issue, and there is no final exam” despite the course clearly listing a final exam
Example 2:
My transfer credit deadline was June 3rd. I completed everything by June 2nd. Grading at study.com has never taken more than a few hours at most, usually assignment grades take less than an hour or two to get back. I finished a course and was graded on assignments 1 & 3 within minutes. Waited until past my deadline for assignment 2 to be graded and it still hasn’t been. I even reuploaded assignment 3 with assignment 2 attached, and a txt file titled “URGENT ASSIGNMENT 2 STILL HAS NOT BEEN GRADED”, and they regraded my assignment 3 literally minutes later without touching assignment 2
I am now past my transfer credit deadline while having paid their monthly fee three times (as well as multiple extra exams for $70 each) with nothing other than another automated response. I’ve looped in my college, and will be filing a BBB complaint and refund from my credit card for failure to deliver service
Very good program over all
Very good program over all. I was able to pass all 13 CLEP tests I took in large part due to the lessons I took on study.com. I would recommend the program to anyone who is good at self-study. When I was done with my CLEPs, I ended my subscription without any hassle.

I have an email telling me I canceled 4 months ago but I'm still getting billed $60 per month. You can't contact customer service - all you can do is leave a message or send an email. Four months with no resolution is totally unacceptable!

Horrible Customer Support!
I've been experiencing issues with Study.com for two months now. The website has repeatedly prevented me from taking the Final Exam due to various technical reasons. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the problem, their customer support either cannot grasp the issue or simply isn't interested in addressing it. As of now, the issue remains unresolved, and I am still being charged $235 monthly without any resolution.
This level of service is unacceptable, and I would strongly caution others before using their platform. It’s incredibly frustrating to be stuck in this situation with no support or clear solution.

I was wrongly accused of using AI on an assignment, and despite providing detailed answers to their questions, Study.com has completely ignored me for nearly a month. I've sent multiple follow-up emails requesting updates, and they've simply gone silent. The longer they decide not to respond, the more money they can take from me through the subscription. Their customer service is nonexistent. I've both emailed and called them. Avoid this company if you value your time and money.

Study.com is a great source to do…
Study.com is a great source to do classes and have the credit transfer but beware! They do not have a customer service for you to reach out just in case you have concerns. They can take up to two weeks to grade your assignments and it could take up to three weeks for them just to have your transcript ready. But if you have any concerns or questions, it is really hard to get those answered because there is no customer service. No live representative. You can talk to. Yes there is a customer service phone number online but when you call, it’s just for you to leave a voice message. Nothing more.

Their Algebra class assumes you know every step. For example, when they bring a math problem, they don't explain step by step how they get to the solution. They'll skip from step 2 to 5 assuming you know steps 3 and 4. Very annoying because I have spend hours figuring out steps 3 and 4 on my own.

Click and bait - Worth ZERO - Don't waste your $
Click and bait type of scam business. I was looking for courses to learn the basics of the French language. They showed me a video with all the pronunciations. I thought, wow, I clicked for a free one-week trial to check it out, and out of nowhere, they charged me $5.95 for the week. When I checked again, the offer was special, and instead of $30, they gave you a week of nonsense for $5.95. And, to make it worse, they had nothing, just one offer of some blah blah they put together as 16 chapters, 262 lessons, and only 6 of these chapters had videos of 2-4 minutes of cartoons talking. You will get two hundred sixty-two silly lessons free of Google. I will dispute the charges with PayPal with all proofs of nonsense.
