Was double charged on auto pay
Was double charged on auto pay. One payment went threw the other pending called to voice my concern to be told I was not double charged because only one payment went through and it was my banks fault to call them if I truly was double charged but funds should be avail in 5-10 business days from other charge. They had no answer as to why it happened and no apologies when I told them I was now negative in bank account because of them. One representative even called me a liar until I showed him bank proof, and refused to let me talk to his manager, funny story I learned from next representive I talked to is there was no way to show him proof because his chat was unable to accept pictures he was demanding to be sent. In my fifth attempt to recieve information as to why the double charge I was able to wait on hold for a hour for a supervisor just to be disconnected as soon as they pick up. I went to T mobile 10 days later after the pending transaction went back on my card, and got my bill lowered by $100, new phones and have been happy since

I also, Dislike, And I extremely say hate at AT&T. I would never use them again I don't care if they were the Cheapest cell phone service around I would never use them they deleted my long time photos.. I think they should give me another option especially with somebody that is not computer savvy. They're on my blacklist and I will make sure everybody else knows to never use AT&T again.... Very maddening...
The worst "AI" on the planet combined…
The worst "AI" on the planet combined with outsourced support = a total disaster. Unbelievably bad service, high prices, and fake "promotions". I traded in a high-end Google Pixel phone and was supposed to receive an $1100 credit towards a new phone, along with discounted service. I never received the credit, nor did I get my trade-in phone returned to me. Support was useless. I'm cancelling my service.

I got an email today, stating "Service Cancelled per My Request." Only I didn't cancel My Service and Yes, My Bill was paid, I even had a credit on My Bill. I called in and was informed, that it was cancelled because My only Option was to "Start New Service with Fiber." I explained, I don't own My Resident's and My Landlord didn't want any drilling or digging. "I was told Fiber was My only Choice." They illegally Cancelled Service and send a email fraudulently Stating "I requested it." Then, refused to correct, their wrong doings. 👎 Illegal and frauding, to push Customers into Fiber 👎 Shame on you AT&T 👎

Internet/Cable has been down 9 times in a month. Area wide outage, not just a single home. These outages have lasted 12 hours to several days. When I call the service center to complain they lied about what was going one and who they were. Found out the person who claimed to be a supervisor was not. Just another lie in a long list of lies. I've had to fight to get credit on the account for the down times.
My son lives with me
My son lives with me. He had AT&T instal the service, they also gave him a phone. He had them disconnect the service the next day. He didn't like the picture. I went to AT&T to return the phone which it was never used and they didn't take it. Now the are billing me (the mother) for the phone $662.00. This is the kind of business they conduct. I also posted a review before and it was taken down.

Terrible experience
My 87 year old mother is in hospice care and I am trying to turn off automatic payments . After being on hold for over 9 minutes , I do not have her pin and absolutely nobody can help me . Not even with her social . Asked to speak to a supervisor and was hung up on .This is totally unacceptable from AT&T . They have the lowest standards of helping customers and need to do better

I absolutely wish there was a rating system in negatives. Because that is what AT&T Wireless deserves. I was promised in August 2025 by a workers Gentry and his supervisor Vernell A. upon moving to my new location from out of state that If "I switched my cellular service AT&T would pay off my devices from my old provider," this is February 2026 and the devices have NOT been paid off at all. I've spoken to both Gentry and the supervisor Vernell who continuously promised the devices will be paid off. I spoke with Verdell to get an update. He seemed to be irritated and have an attitude then proceeds to tell me that my AT&T wireless account would credited for the amount of the devices as compensation of my old devices not being paid off. I have yet to hear or see any payment. I sent Verdell a text message for a possible update and he has not replied at all.

A really bad company they convinced me to use their mobile service for my family and got told they will take care of any problem from my former company but they did not and now I have to be paying from my pocket what they were supposed to pay and the service is very bad, customer service annoying, bad choice to have as a mobile company for me and my family.
Dishonest wait windows & poor comms
We’re not starting off on the right foot. I subscribed to the highest fiber internet tier in addition to being a mobile customer for over 12 years. I scheduled to get my fiber set up between the hours of 2pm-4pm. It’s now 6pm. While I understand other work order can run over - TWO HOURS is unacceptable. In addition, no one could give me an approximate ETA so I can go about my life. Half of my day is shot and I’m still in a waiting state.
Additionally, their AI via chat is the worst giving the same generic answer FOUR TIMES. There was no strong sentiment analysis that could identify the issue correctly or a hand off trigger. I had to ask for an agent myself!
I’ve wasted half of my day waiting and still don’t have any update about when my internet will be installed. I could have done this myself.
Why is AT&T still using Star…
Why is AT&T still using Star Construction after all the negative feedback from residential customers about the horrendous conditions they leave behind - large holes in yard and damage to personal property - without consequences. AT&T passes the blame for damages to Star and Star refuses to take accountability.
Residents are not notified prior to the company’s arrival, the workers don’t speak English so they could communicate to any of us why they were there.
Feeling extorted
I wish there was an option for less! The worst customer service I have ever received! I am contemplating filing fraud charges against them... they have 3rd party sales people that they say they are not responsible for but certainly collect money from their sales??? I feel as if these people extorted 100s of $$$ from my business... if someone shows up stating they are from Att business sales lock your doors... Xfinity has its issues but this company feels fraudulent can't believe it has been around forever something has changed???
Tried AT&T wireless and Internet again but wish I hadn't.
I see I'm not alone with having problems AT&T. Mine has to do with a new Internet account password issues. I can't get my password to work no matter how many times I have changed it. Worked with so called Tech 3 and they can't solve. Problem has been escalated 3 times with no solution and promised communication that was not honored. I have been dealing with this issue for 25 days so far. I had AT&T years ago and left for same issue. Too much lip service and no results.

I called to ask about AT&T Internet…
I called to ask about AT&T Internet pricing and options, but the sales representative was pushy, disrespectful of my boundaries, started raising her voice at me, and kept trying to push me into signing up immediately. After I ended the call, AT&T began calling me repeatedly from local-spoofed numbers to try to get me to answer. This felt manipulative and like borderline harassment, and it made me decide not to switch services.

They griddle a line on my tree roots and killed 3 trees one fell on my back porch. Mrs Robinson The lady in the office refused to help me out with the damage they done and I'm out big time I'm handicapped I can't afford to get my roof fixed I can't afford to get the trees taken care of. I need help I don't know what to do. They get away with not showing up to court. Office is to far away. The building they have in town don't have a office supposedly . Tree fell October 29th 2024 it won't allow me to put right date below.
Incompetence as a business model
Incompetent 20-something processed my order by tap to pay and then suddenly mentioned that one payment needed to be by a physical card. I was left high and dry. After they had my earlier 2 payments.
Either ATT training is poor or staff are. Maybe both. They dont care becuase they operate in a cartel of incompetence - all the phone companies are equally awful as that saves them money.
Does any phone carrier have even a 2 star rating?
From now on will just buy BYOD phones and find a PAYG monthly minutes/data. The simpler you keep it the less these greedy companies can screw you over.
