Good aftercare

After an initial difficult time with the import team, I was contacted by the commercial director, who was helpful and willing to make amends. Overall, satisfied with the outcome.

Avoid Cardinal Global Glen is thief

Avoid Cardinal Global – A Scam Company!

We had a terrible experience with Cardinal Global Logistics. They scammed us out of a huge amount of money and refused to take responsibility for their mistakes. Through their third-party partner IWS, they wrongly charged us 3,800 rands which was actually their responsibility to pay, not ours.

On top of that, they massively overcharged us for shipping and port fees, making the total cost higher than what we paid for the machine itself. It’s clear that their business model is based on exploiting customers rather than providing a fair and transparent service.

They promised to refund us the 3,800 rands but after a long wait, we have received nothing. Now, they ignore our calls and refuse to communicate. This company operates like a scam and should be investigated.

I strongly warn everyone to stay away from Cardinal Global. If you are considering working with them—DON’T. They are not to be trusted Glen is and he's company they're scammers

I advise anyone to stay away from this Fraudulent company

I am extremely disappointed with the unprofessional and fraudulent service I received from Cardinal Global Logistics and Glen. A week ago, I raised my concerns about their poor service, and Glen promised me a refund if I removed my negative reviews. I complied, yet to this day, I have not received my money. Now, I can't even get hold of him—he’s either "out of the office" or "on lunch," and when I leave messages, he never calls back.

I paid R17,000 just for port fees, on top of an unjust R3,800 storage fee that wasn’t even my fault. This company is completely unprofessional! Their call center staff change their names daily, yet it’s clearly the same people.

After investigating further, I discovered that all their five-star reviews are fake—likely posted by themselves to mislead customers. I urge everyone to report these reviews to Trustpilot and expose their dishonest practices.

I have now reported this company and sent all my findings to the media (Carte Blanche) for further investigation. They take advantage of people and are nothing but liars and thieves. Just today, I was told to call at 4 PM to speak to Glen—only to find out that they close at 4 PM! What a scam.

Stay away from this company! I will continue fighting until I get my money back and ensure their fraudulent practices are exposed.

Hi Sneakers Brothers,

Please note that we are in the UK and this is a UK page, it seems that your shipment was to South Africa.

I did request, via Trust Pilot, that you move your review to the correct domain, but you refused this request. Unfortunately we were not given a reason for this.

We would appreciate it if you can move your review to the correct place so it does not have a negative impact on our UK operation.

I also reached out to the team in South Africa and I understand they spoke with you directly about your shipment.

Kind regards
Ben

Cardinal Global Logistics is a total…

Cardinal Global Logistics is a total Rip Off (daylight robbery)

It’s not the first time my agent uses Cardinal Global Logistics for my shipment, they make sure that rip you off daylight.

How do you charge R1500 for Electronic Data Interchange ??? The funny thing is they previously charged me R37 for the previous shipment, so how does the EDI charge now sky rockets from R37 to R1500 just for Data on a computer.

They also previously charged me R3000 for unpacking 17 packages of my goods and today they are charging me R8211 for unpacking only 2 packages of my goods, I swear it’s as if they just punch in numbers to keep the invoice high without being reasonable and aware of what they are charging. Not even Customs can rip us off like this.

The handling fee jumped from R700 for one shipment and R5000 to the other shipment, mind you this is the very same goods that we always import and they are rather the same size, so they price difference is just utterly ridiculous.

CAF fee jumped from R65 on one shipment all the way to R1564 on the other shipment

When you reach out to them to dispute the charges and get clarity on the charges they tell you to take it up with the shipper but they are the ones that generated the invoice upon arrival of my goods, I’m involving my lawyers in this matter because there is no ways I’m going to allow to be robbed daylight especially because I have used them before and I can see the discrepancies in their made up charges, luckily I have their previous invoices it’s really crazy how they overcharge people.

Cardinal Global Logistics is a Scammer of Note and their customers service is just as terrible, it’s like they just don’t care

I requested contact details for you, via Trust Pilot, so that I could pass your details to the correct company in South Africa, which you provided. I understand they have been in contact with you and/or tried to make contact with you.

I have also asked you twice on e-mail to remove your review from our page and move to the correct domain but you have not responded.

We would appreciate it if you can move your review to the correct place so it does not have a negative impact on our UK operation.

DIY Shipping Personal Effects, USA to UK

I ventured into managing my own shipment as I moved from the USA to UK.
I realized that it's important to maintain constant communication with all the parties involved; the shipping company and the local hauler; the shipping company, Cardinal Global Logistics in the UK.
All my communications with Cardinal were courteous, timely and pleasant.
Making sure all the invoices were paid as the shipment made its way through the various shipping ports and customs etc.
Communication is Key!
My shipment to curbside was perfect and at the agreed date.

They deserve less than 1 star

Do NOT use this company. In my opinion these people are guilty of ‘daylight hustle’. Their customs team either do not know what they are doing, or more likely are part of the same grift. On day one, I sent them every required document in my possession, and they emailed me that their customs team said that everything was fine. But after the 5 ‘free storage days’ they then reported issues with the same paperwork. The external Government agencies (HMRC and also Borderforce) responded to my file in good time, but these hustlers used some very underhanded tactics to extend the storage time, such as sending me updates at the end of the working day, with the aim and effect of gaining another days storage, even though I found out that Borderforce had actually processed my file days earlier. They even added an extra 3 days on the invoice after all matters were resolved. When I complained about their tactics and the unnecessary and ridiculously high storage cost they said they would negotiate on my behalf (yeah really, with yourself!) and then came back with a different figure, and they said it was only good if I paid it straight away. Listen folks, if someone lowers their very high and unnecessary rip-off charge to a less high and still unnecessary rip off charge, but says you have to pay now to take advantage of the lower rip-off charge, rest assured you are still getting ripped off. If there are any positive reviews for these people, it just means that they are selective about who they rip-off. Don’t take the chance, look elsewhere for good, reliable and honest services.

avoid

avoid - held our goods ransom and wanted £2700 storage through no fault of ours. They are quids in if emails dont arrive and easy way to make money. In the end we had to settle with paying £1500 to get our own goods ! Should change their name to Criminal Global Logistics as it would be more apt and I see we arent alone. And before they reply saying they have no record of me as they do on other negative reviews , it was for my company Howford Hydraulics Ltd and we have been importing for 25 years and never had so much grief from any body,

Hi Mr Bryson,

We are sorry to see your negative review of our service; I dealt with you myself so am aware of your shipment. We had discussed this in detail in January and we got your goods to you early in January.

As we discussed in January, we sent many e-mails about the arrival of your shipment from the beginning of November through to it's arrival in December, however you advised that you had not received them. You were then in contact with our team from the 14th December and were going to collect your goods yourself but you did not do so, after our team had given you details of how to do this, you then closed for Christmas & New Year.

You offered to pay warehouse storage charges, from 19th December as you agreed that delays after this were not through any fault of ours. We agreed to this and actually managed to negotiate a further reduction on this amount with the warehouse, that you accepted, so I feel it is unfair for you to say that you 'had to settle with paying' and for you to use the word 'criminal' in your review is unjust & unreasonable.

If you would prefer to discuss this in more detail then I am always available.

Kind regards
