Relatively easy experience

Relatively easy to open Cash ISA online although delay in approving ID was frustrating as I am a returning customer and the ID confirmation process is a bit for not technically aware people.

5 star service

I had an appointment with Nikki at Cheltenham and she was fantastic. She spent a lot of time with me, explaining everything that I needed to know. As the money I was investing was from my late father's estate, she dealt with this sensitively and professionally. I would recommend YBS to everyone, in particular Nikki at Cheltenham. She also made me a great cup of tea, yorkshire of course!

FIRST CLASS OLD FASHIONED SERVICE

I recently transfer my ISA from another provider to Yorkshire using my local branch. The service was exemplary as has been follow up visits. My wife did the same using the postal service. Again the response was excellent with a prompt transfer and being kept informed about progress. Well done to Branch and HO staff

Opening new savings account on YBS website was easy to open. Uploading pdf of I.D. (driving licence) was easy and (for first time) using my laptop camera for "live confirmation", though disconcerting, also turned out to be quick & easy. Subsequent funding the account from my nominated account was also straightforward.
