Very poor service

I ordered and paid for a pair of walking shoes on Tuesday 27th. There was no subsequent update on shipping, as with most companies these days.
Today, Saturday 31st I received an email saying that, unfortunately, my order had been cancelled. No explanation, no sense of goodwill, and poor all round. Someone needs to take a course in customer relations.
Very disappointing.

Very helpful delivery man. Great service. Placed heavy boxes exactly where I wanted them.

Very helpful delivery man. Placed my boxes exactly where I needed them to be . He also brought in a previous parcel, which had been delivered from a different company. This was really helpful, as I have no thumb joints and have difficulty lifting. Excellent service above and beyond what was his remit.

Disappointed with representative

I had problems completing my purchase online, as the system didn't accept my driving licence.
When I called to complete the process, I was repeatedly asked questions that I had already answered online, even though she had access to my input. (Date may be slightly out, as I'm not sure which day I made the call.

Appalling customer service- never again

I signed up for a 1 month free trial, then wasn't able to access the service via my Sky Q box, nor a Samsung tablet. All I got was a message telling me there was an email/password issue.

I sent numerous emails, explaining the issues I was having, but each of their replies made it clear that they hadn't read what I had written. I either got useless standard replies or a load of other nonsense. When I raised a complaint, they just ignored it.

When I finally requested that they close the account, they wrote back and said I would continue to have a service until the end of my trial period. That'll be the service I've never had.

I can't comment on the quality of their programming, but I would advise anyone who starts to get similar logging-in problems to get out fast. Their customer service is shockingly bad.

Unauthorised debit from my account

It is difficult to be even-handed when I am so angry and upset at this company's customer service.
I paid to choose seats on a flight home from Turkey, and they removed £107 instead of the quoted £34. And in 4 separate transactions!
Needless to say, they haven't replied to email, site feedback or Twitter, so I have requested my bank to recover the money.
It's a shame, because the flight experience was good. But I won't consider using them again unless this is resolved to my satisfaction.

Not-so-sweet Dreams

In respect of taking my orders and delivering on time, I found Dreams to be efficient. My issues lie with the description of mattresses and the limitations of their comfort guarantee, along with the way they control customers' reviews.
I was looking for a mattress to give support where I was getting some hip and shoulder pain. Unfortunately, my first choice proved to be too hard for me. After persisting for the required period, I took advantage of Dreams' comfort guarantee. This meant paying a £49 fee and spending another £30 on a more expensive mattress, which was described as 'soft'. Unfortunately the new mattress (which was only available online) is no better for me. Whilst I understand that mattress comfort is subjective, I was unhappy with Dreams' response. First, they rejected my very fair review, because of 'guidelines'. Then, when I submitted a revised version, they disingenuously responded that I could use the comfort guarantee (I couldn't, as they limit it to one time only). They also failed to address my suggestion to review the grading of the mattress in question.
I am disappointed that I now have to revert to using an old mattress, which is marginally better for me, not to mention that I have a nearly new mattress which I cannot use.

Inadequate, unhelpful, intimidating

I have wasted so much time trying to communicate with Leaseplan about collecting my car at the end of its lease on 23rd April. Despite numerous emails and phone calls to the broker and Leaseplan, I still have no idea when they intend to collect their vehicle.

From the very poor responses I have had, it seems their staff don't really know what they are doing, and any efforts to speak to someone are met with unanswered phone lines. An email took four days to get a generic response, telling me to wait up to 21 days for them to get back to me.

Eventually, I received an email. It didn't offer any constructive way forward, but did try to intimidate me into insuring THEIR vehicle (after my contract had expired!) by making spurious assertions about what I had signed up for.

As a result of my dealings with Leaseplan UK, and having read their reviews, I bitterly regret getting involved with them. This whole saga is taking a toll on my mental health, and Leaseplan offer no solutions whatsoever. All I wanted was to return the car at the end of its lease period.

I cannot believe they are so cavalier about leaving their expensive car sitting on the street. As a result, I have been forced into taking advice about my next steps. The coronavirus situation doesn't excuse their woeful response in the slightest.

I have wasted so much time trying to contact Leaseplan about collecting my car at the end of its lease. Despite phone calls and emails to the broker and Leaseplan, I still have had no personal response to my situation. All I got from the broker was that I could either buy the vehicle or extend the lease (neither of which I wanted), or (and this is where it's almost funny) I could securely park and insure the vehicle, but not use it any more.

I had been let down by another car…

I had been let down by another car leasing company, so decided to give Leasing Options a try. I was fortunate to have the call answered by a very nice chap called Neil Dandy. He was patient, attentive and understanding as I tried to make up my mind about the vehicle I wanted.
Neil explained everything very clearly at all stages of the process, and I was particularly impressed with how prompt he was in returning my calls with answers to various queries. This was in complete contrast to my experience with the other company.
I always felt I was getting a straight answer from Neil. Although it's his job to make sales, I never felt that he was trying to rush me into leasing something I didn't want.
Anyway, I took delivery of a lovely car on Tuesday of this week, and am really pleased with my choice.
If I decide to lease again after this current contract ends, I will definitely call Leasing Options, and ask for Neil.

Excellent from beginning to end

Being new to leasing, I found the service, particularly the help of Kyle, to be excellent. He was patient with my numerous questions, and always responded promptly to return my calls.

My vehicle was in Germany at the time of order, but the delivery estimate of three weeks proved to be accurate.

I found clarity on the issue of costs, and the balance of my deposit was returned immediately upon delivery of the car.

Based on my experience, I would have no hesitation in recommending Leaseyournextcar.com to family and friends.

Thanks to Kyle and colleagues for doing such a good job, and providing the necessary reassurances along the way.
