The agent I spoke to on the phone was very knowledgeable. Really interested in getting me the right detail, friendly and helpful. I'd definitely use debttrace again in the future, and would highly recommend.

Not great for tall people

I'm a kickstarter backer and just got my chair. This is more of a product review and a warning than a comment on the company itself. I haven't yet tried to contact support. But it's just not designed for tall people. For a chair of this price I'd expect back vertical adjustment and seat horizontal adjustment (note that they offer 2x cushion types but even the largest is too small for me).

If you're not very tall, you'll probably be fine. But I'm 6'2" and should have got a Herman Miller instead. It's just too small a chair and doesn't allow good adjustment to make it work. You can adjust the lumbar, which slightly raises the position of the seat but it's still a few inches too far off. If you're over 6ft, I'd definitely say avoid!

Such a shame, could have been a good chair. I suspect I'll have no luck returning.

Atrocious. Tried to charge us for damage already present on the vehicle at pick up. Absolute scammers. Avoid at all costs. Will be taking action against Goldcar. I don't think I can upload images here but check out my review of Goldcar Tenerife South on Google.

Dreadful Service. Left in the Lurch for a Month

Awful service from Holdcroft. I took my MG4 to them in Stoke due to the car not charging properly and disconnecting itself on multiple chargers. It won't charge more than a few percent before disconnecting. They took all day to try and do some software updates, that failed. Then told me they'd raise a ticket with MG to resolve and call me back. Never had a call back. Just phoned in to find that they have no record of anything. I wasted an entire day next month and we've really been struggling with the car waiting for them to come back to us. Absolutely not acceptable behaviour. It's now degraded to a point where the safety features of the car aren't working. It won't fully stop and stay stopped using just the brakes and is unsafe to drive.

Outstanding Service This Time

My last experience with SportPusuit wasn't great. But this time they've gone above and beyond my expectations so I thought I should leave them a positive review too. Felt only fair. I'd accidentally sent another shop's items to their returns department. They found the offending item and sent it back to me. They were also helpful throughout. Delighted by their work.

Really bad service

Really bad service. I placed an order then changed my mind 34 minutes after purchasing. Via their website. Apparently you can cancel within the first 30 minutes, but there was no link. So got in touch with their customer support to cancel the order. Just had an email saying my order is on the way. That's pretty terrible. Would get it if I'd left it a long time since my order but I literally let them know within the hour that I wanted to cancel. Rubbish

Currently customers have 30 minutes to self cancel orders through the my account section, orders for quick delivery items are then sent to our warehouses for dispatch at which stage we are unable to cancel the shipment. This is a automated process so the option to self cancel would not have been available 34 minutes after the order was placed, I am sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

Depot is supposed to open at 10:00. It's 10:15 and no-one is here. I know you guys are crap at delivering parcels so you may not have anywhere better to be, but I do and I can't believe you haven't bothered opening for your designated hours written on the wall. Another joke of an experience from Yodel!

Install Great. End to End Experience Questionable

Really struggled to figure out how to rate my experience. Martin, the engineer who came out to do the install to the house was fantastic, and exceeded my expectations.

But getting hold of Openreach in general was really hard and they didn't take into account that this was a tenanted house and I'd explicitly said that I'd need advanced warning to go to the house.

So it seems like they're good at installs, but not so good at the end to end customer journey and are too hard to get in contact with, meaning the engineer wasted time when he's on a fixed cost per job, meaning his own personal loss.

I also saw Openreach's response, and understand they're not customer facing. And in day to day situations you shouldn't be able to contact them, instead going through your provider. But they also don't allow any mechanism where they integrate with the provider to allow me to add notes, or specify any conditions that flow through to Openreach.

I've seen it happen a lot, where either an install would be difficult, or there is value in the installer knowing things in advance, but there appears to be no way to do that. My parents had to have Openreach out 3 times before they found an engineer that'd actually install to their house, and it seems less than fair that the installing engineer takes a personal risk for their ROI, and Openreach given no way, either directly, or through providers, to contextualise an install.

Bad Customer Experience and Product

Like others, I've had issues with warranty and general customer support.

What really got me was that they openly told me that there was no way to repair the headphones, even if I paid , making relatively new headphones e-waste.

I'd expect that from a cheap pair from Amazon, but this certainly isn't the behavior I expect from a premium product.

Also, the button broke on my headphones, that really shouldn't happen to headphones this new, and clearly shows bad design.

Ultimately, they're a low quality company, pretending to have a premium product.

Absolutely Atrocious

Absolutely atrocious. Customer service tried to palm me off to the network provider despite me having already called them and confirmed it was an issue that needed to be dealt with by the supplier. Unhelpful staff members have thus far been no use whatsoever, and I've had to restart a chat in order to try and get anywhere. And I've had no gas supply for 2 days. Don't try and help me out of anything Scottish Power, time to move to Octopus, I've got an account with them, and they're useful.

Misleading RMA Practices

Another shady tactic from Ebuyer. I've RMA'd a broken part. That hasn't been dealt with yet. What I'm unhappy about is after calling the RMA centre; I then got an email looking like it was from the agent who helped. Pitched as a way to rate that individual. Ebuyer, if you want feedback on your staff performance, set up a dedicated feedback tool. Don't try and trick people into leaving Trustpilot reviews, likely bumping up the ratings because the specific interaction with an agent may go well. Feels like a way to artificially raise your Trustpilot scores and frankly, I'd expect nothing less from Ebuyer. This is why I buy most of my IT kit from Amazon.

The agent was fine on the phone by the way, but If I'd have purchased elsewhere I wouldn't have even had to call to RMA a product... Just a thought.

Customer Support was Great

The software works fine. But I had a problem registering my license as I changed PCs. I was expecting a fight, or for the company to say I'd have to buy it again (despite being a lifetime license) but they were great, they reset the license quickly and now I'm up and running again. Would definitely recommend.

Good Customer Service

Purchased a Leadscrew from IT-Tech-UK. Despatched quickly and everything looked fine. Parcelforce were a nightmare and didn't ring the bell (usually they're fine, so no idea what went on here and we have a RING doorbell so I checked the logs). Unfortunately it went back to IT Tech. They were really good with re-arranging delivery and the whole process was seamless. They did a great job given it must have been extra hassle on their part!

Didn't Pick Up My Parcel

Didn't pick up my parcel. Claimed they called around at 10:28, but my Ring doorbell has no motion activated and no doorbell ring. There was no knock at the door and neither me nor my cleaner who were also in heard anything. Terrible service. Wish I could use someone else when returning parcels.

Lost My Data. Didn't Care. Didn't Help

Atrocious. There is clearly some bad trading going on. Apparently a data breach via a third party had my order and personal details shared but they just couldn't care less. Another legitimate business got involved (Power Tools UK), where apparently fraudulent orders had been placed with my details, and they confirmed for me that the fraud office had been contacted to investigate. Buzz just couldn't care less. They couldn't supply any GDPR policies nor were willing to help with the money I lost as a result of their data breach. Will never be using again and I suggest others seriously consider giving any data to this company! Have reported to ICO.

EDIT. In response to Buzz' comment about me being grossly mistaken. Unfortunately I can't upload evidence to Trust Pilot, however if you find my Google review I've copied in both the confirmation from Buzz themselves of a data breech which is also a message to me on their website portal; and PowerToolsUK confirming suspicious activity from Buzz Retail. Not convinced I can be mistaken with this.

If they come back with "we're a different company". They're not. The company listed here is the same URL as the one we've dealt with, not the similarly named toy company. I can't believe they're still trying to cover their tracks and confuse people reading my review.

Whilst editing this I've also noticed that Google may have a different company, but this TrustPilot page genuinely directs to the retailer I used. If the person replying is from the toy company, they need to get a separate page for their business (and perhaps contact Google about getting a separate page for Buzz-Retail on Google).

Out of Touch with the Times

What a crappy device. Customer support is terrible. Long and unnecessary processes. Feels like an out of touch business that doesn't move with the times. I actually just checked and they're 10 years old as a business this year. I think they stopped innovation and change about 9 years ago! I have a few of their products but wouldn't get into the ring ecosystem if I wasn't already in it. Also debating changing to another option.

Basically an Immoral Company

I had the most horrific experience with Halifax, and will never use them again. We moved our mortgage to them. As a result of their incompetence and errors on their part it took far too long to move the mortgage. Halifax admitted their errors, and agreed that it "should never have happened" but they were absolutely resolute at not recompensing us for our losses and were incredibly rude on the phone.
Months later, the ombudsmen has agreed with us 100% and ordered Halifax to pay us compensation. A simple calculation and one which Halifax should have offered to do from the get go.

Really disappointing that we had to take them to third party arbitration; and the fact that we won shows that we had a valid case, that should have been dealt with directly by Halifax. They were awful on the phone, awful at moving the mortgage and I'll never use any of their services from this point onwards.

Review of Halifax

Atrocious Service. Cost us Thousands

We're doing a remortgage to Halifax of our current mortgage.

They've had the case for multiple weeks, and were progressing with free legals through Optima as per their standard conditions. Their free legal service is now saying that they won't deal with the case putting us right back to the beginning.

Our remortgage is relatively standard and Halifax have said that they are happy to lend against our house, but that the case should never have come to them in the first place.

This has led to thousands of pounds worth of interest payments on our behalf and on top of that, we now need to pay for our own legal costs to move the mortgage.

Frankly, if it was going to go this way, I'd have used someone else and I'll never remortgage to Halifax again. I'll also be looking into taking them to court for compensation for our losses.
