Invaluable - would not be without my membership

NRLA are always there when I need advice. They are so supportive and just really knowledgeable on the ever changing laws and regulations in the rental market. There has never been a question they cannot help me with.

This is a scam

This company advertised goods that were discontinued, and took my money. It has now been over 3 weeks and they will not give my money back. Do not buy from them. This is a scam and I will have to get my money back from the credit card company.

Unacceptable.

I have told you to release funds to me. I have jumped through all your hoops, and still the funds are not with me. I have spent over 90 minutes on the phone complaining about this, and still the funds are not with me. I am reporting this to the Financial Ombudsman. If anyone is considering putting funds with SJP, don't is my advice. They think they can stop you from taking your own money out. I am absolutely disgusted with the level of service. I have never had such terrible service from a financial organisation.

Thieves

We used this company to obtain RTM. I would warn anyone thinking of doing this to not use them. This is not off to a start. They are trying to charge us for notifying them of sublettings. The lease makes no provision for this whatsoever. This is not chargeable. To make matters worse they are also trying to charge for renewals. This is not permitted in the lease. The lease is very clear on the matter of notifications. These flats were largely sold to investors. No permission needed to let your flat out, but once you have let it you must notify the managing agent that you have let it. End of. No charge payable. Urang even sent us a letter to that effect, and now see a chance to further rip off leaseholders. I for one will be voting to get them out asap. I will not be recommending them to obtain R2R on my current property and I warn anyone else going down this route to obtain R2R to not use them. This is not off to a good start and they have done nothing to reduce the service charge and are looking at ways to increase the money in their own pocket.

Massive thank you to Ethan in Insurance

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Ethan for helping me today. I have been given the run around for days by OpenRent re the Landlords Rent and Legal Insurance policy. It was a very complicated and unusual situation, but after speaking to Ethan, I had a clear idea of the questions that needed to be answered by the claims team. With everything stacked against landlords, it is vital that we have access to support when needed. The help offered by Ethan today was invaluable.

Legal for Landlords are very helpful

Being a landlord is getting increasingly more difficult. This is where Legal for Landlords really provide invaluable support. Ethan has recently been very supportive and helpful in getting rental insurance for a new tenancy. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to make sure everything is covered. The rest of the team Joanne, Leah, Rebecca and Karen, to name a few have also helped me over the years. With the changes in regulation, you really cannot be without support and Legal for Landlords have always been there for me when I needed help. Recently I have had to make a claim for tenant damage to a property, and have been very impressed, not just with the sales team, but also the after sales service and help to progress my claim. I cannot recommend them highly enough and cannot stress enough that you need them on your side given the current environment. Thank you.

Absolute Joke

Still trying to finalise a bill from when a tenant moved out in January. This is unacceptable and a joke. I would be embarassed to work for this organisation and be so useless at resolving issues. How British Gas is allowed to do this to people is unbelievable. Total disgrace.

Worse than British Gas

Phoned to change the bill out of my name. They told me to fill in an online form. They then reply saying they cannot identify me because they don't have the account number etc. They changed the bill into my name and assigned an account number. It was only in my name for 4 days. How am I supposed to know what they did on their system. This is beyond stupid. Will just raise a complaint and send it to the Ombudsman if they will not finalise this tomorrow on the phone.
I HAVE NOW FILLED IN THE FORM FOR THE SECOND TIME WITH THE INFORMATION YOU REQUESTED AND STILL YOUR SYSTEM IS SENDING AN AUTOMATED EMAIL ASKING FOR THE INFORMATION I HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. WHY CAN YOU NOT ISSUE A SIMPLE BILL FOR 4 DAYS STANDING CHARGES.

DIABOLICAL

I spoke to Louise two weeks ago who was finalising the bill. She is not responding to emails. Could you please get Louise to contact me. Do not ask me to go on chat or social media. that is starting again. I want this resolved. You are a disgusting organisation that do not care if you cause stress to honest people just paying a bill. Absolutely incompetent.



Lucy what you are doing is asking me to start this again. How do I get in touch with Louise? Please could you give me a direct number to the UK helpdesk?
