Top Class! Solid Cases and Wonderful People

I've bought at least 8 different suitcases int he last 2 years. They are tough as rhinos. And gorgeous looking, some of them. I've tried comparing these with some of the top brands and imho Tripp comes out on top, at way less costs.

I had problem with one of my deliveries and the customer support was flawless. The went over and above to make things right and I was very pleased with the experience, can't recommend enough.

Time wasters. Keep away.

We booked an annual family travel insurance plan over the phone and spent around 30 minutes completing the process. The payment went through successfully, and we even received verbal confirmation, but no email ever arrived.

When we followed up, we were told there was a technical error and it was being looked into. Two days passed with no update. When we called again, we were then told the policy had never been activated and that they could simply cancel it.

I have a feeling that they underquoted us and couldn't honour the cost.

So after spending time, money, and effort, we were left with no policy at all. Now we have to cancel and start the entire process over again with another company.

The issue occurred on Friday, and we could not action the request to remedy your policy until Monday morning, but you had cancelled us in the interim to notify us of your intent to cancel the policy and receive a refund. We also reviewed the phone call in question to ensure our usual high standards of customer service were upheld. On review of the call we noted that you went through 3 different quotations with the customer care agent, which contributed to the overall length of the call.
We again are very sorry that you experienced an error whilst trying to book a policy and can assure you that we will use this experience to continue to grow and develop our services and offerings.

Customer service at it's worst

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had. The delivery was canceled at the last minute with a generic excuse, after we'd taken the day off specifically to receive and assemble a large bed. We had already dismantled the old one. When I called customer service, the representative, was incredibly rude and showed zero empathy. Not only did she fail to address the issue, but she also didn’t even acknowledge there was a problem. She dismissed it as something that "just happens" and offered no solution—no confirmed redelivery date or any effort to accommodate our request. All she offered was to cancel the order. This is easily the worst customer service I've ever encountered.

From looking into this matter further, we can see your slot was cancelled amongst others due to a driver experiencing a family emergency.

Due to the nature of your escalation, a full refund was offered in which you had declined to receive. As an online retailer, we do have an obligation to offer this following consumer law.

We can see the drop was re arranged to take place on Saturday due to your work commitments, and a colleague is following the delivery for you to ensure all goes smoothly.

Be prepared for what you're signing up for

THE GOOD - The car was nice and well cleaned (there was a bottle of water), very thoughtful.

THE BAD - The pickup (and drop-off) point was 45 minutes away from the airport - 20 min walk, 10 min shuttle ride and 15 min walk - to the parking of a hotel. Not to mention in 35 degrees with luggage and 2 kids.
What's worst is that they do not tell you where the pickup is until 15 mins before the pick up.

THE UGLY - The customer service is robotic and empathy-less. (although support in the app while the rental is on pretty good; sometimes it takes longer than you'd expect)
Also be mindful that this is a keyless car operated via your phone/bluetooth. (sometimes you have to quit the app and restart your bluetooth to unlock the doors) So if something goes wrong with your phone, god help you. (because you might not have a phone to call customer support) And you cant have the app downloaded on a back up phone.

Not quite the 'Rhino Shield' I was expecting.

The case looks fabulous, no doubt. BUT it's not as tough or durable. My month-old case cracked from the impact of a 3 feet fall. I've dropped phones before and even much cheaper cases are tougher. Not quite the 'Rhino Shield' I was expecting. I sent them a tweet with the images but they didn't care to respond.

Beautifully efficient products at great prices. I've used Dyson for years and was a little hesitant before getting my first Shark vacuum cleaner but now I can say that they are as good if not better than Dyson. And they definitely look better. The customer service is also pretty great.

Beware. Don't buy their products/services.

I've been with Admiral for years. Last month when my car broke down the roadside assistance rookie broke the gearbox casing while trying to start it. The cost of repairing the damage is much more than I can afford.

I've been going around in circles but between Admiral and The AA. Admiral refused to help me straight away. They wanted to pass on the blame to The AA. They have zero empathy for my situation. I have little kids and I'm without a car for for 6 weeks now - it's 2 degrees outside and the nearest superstore is 3 miles away. Never felt so helpless in my life.

If you love your car, your family and your life stay away from Admiral. Think twice before buying their products. I don't want anybody to go through what I've been through.

If you love your car, your family, your life STAY AWAY from The AA and Admiral.

I had a roadside assistance with AA via my car insurance policy with Admiral. When the car broke down they sent a rookie from a 3rd party garage called J Madden Garages, who broke the gearbox of my car trying to start the starter motor. I went around in circles for a month and The AA are not ready to take the liability even when the evidence is very clear. I have been without a car for more than a month now, during a lockdown with 2 little babies at home and 2 degrees outside.
So if you love your car, your family, your life STAY AWAY from The AA and Admiral. They have zero empathy and the worst customer service.
