Firstly overcharged the face value of the ticket by roughly 30% which we didn't realise until arriving at the train station. Our train was cancelled so we re bought at the station for cheaper. I've now been pursuing a refund for over 2 months from rude staff who ignore your concerns, and just provide pre generated stock phrases. To top this all off I have now received an email saying my case has been closed with zero notice. The saga continues...

I sent my phone and iPod in and requested the iPod be sent back because they disputed the condition. Fair enough. The specification listed 'Working power supply and original USB power adapter or charger & USB 2.0 cable (where applicable)' as one of the requirements for 'good quality'. I sent off the appropriate charger and cable for this product and upon the iPod's return there was no charger. I contacted Musicmagpie and they said that they could not guarantee my original charger or a replacement official charger to be sent back to me. Instead they're using a third party service that will send me whatever charger they can find. I was told that because a charger was never requested initially that i cannot be compensated for any value discrepancy in the replacement charger i'll be receiving. Whether this is true or not in some fineprint I would suggest that people be wary of what Musicmagpie are asking for to ensure that this doesn't happen to you. I've sold a few other items to them and have had a fair service and the correspondence over the issue has been reasonable. I don't see how my charger could have been separated from my iPod upon arrival; they've essentially taken it and would not have sent a potentially unsatisfactory replacement had I not disputed this.
In summary I'd recommend that people be wary using this service. They can provide quick and easy transactions but resolving any issues seems somewhat tedious and unfair.
