Worst management ever
Before you ask for wheelchair in Montreal from Qatar Airlines, please note it is Chaotic, unorganised, callus and unprofessional. My elderly mother on a wheel chair was taking QR 764 flight with my brother on the 2nd of June 2024, we arrived 4 hours earlier with an on line check in, we were sent to wait for the wheelchair agent, there were several people waiting and several arriving afterwards but no sign of any agent or whatsoever, after one and a half hour wait I started asking questions, the reply was a spot face ,"we are calling you someone" but no hesitation even to pretend calling, literally after 2 and a half hour wait I go to the counter 596 and ask for help, the guy rudely responded the wheelchair service was for all airlines but he would call still no call no sign. There was literally 40 minutes left to board the plane, the same guy comes in panic and ask questions, almost all the crippled and aged people now on a full panic swing rush to security, a couple of agents appears to push some wheelchairs, my mom's included. Only to abandon at security check, my brother pushing the wheel chair and holding both his and my mom's carry on is a picture of total failure regarding customer service of QR. I understand issues but management is the name which is profoundly missing at this airline. No respect for people with or without a problem, their image is in name only, it is not only me but everyone there on the 2nd of June will confirm that!!! 👎
