Our rescue took on a dog from a pound that we were told was not chipped. We found that she did have a Smarttrace microchip and when we applied for the transfer Bree contacted the previous owner to check that they knew their dog had been through the stray system. We were then given the contact details to rectify the situation that should have been previously dealt with. Bree handled the whole matter very quickly, very professionally and very thoroughly. It has reassured me that the process cannot be sidestepped if a dog goes missing as full and thorough checks are made at every stage to ensure everything is legal and above board.
