Suspicous

On January 17 2026, I purchased a piece of furniture from this site. It was an item that I’ve searched high and low for and it must be out of production. This site (which I’d never heard of), popped up on the search offering the item for sale. I did feel a little unsafe but alas, I took the risk as they offered PayPal.

January 22 2026 and 5 days later. Having heard nothing from them without any update, I contacted them asking if my item has been shipped, and if not, when could I please expect it to.

I received the usual robot auto reply thanking me for
My message.

A few days later, they responded out of stock and happy to provide a refund. I responded with acceptance.

On 27 January 2026, they wrote in saying that:

“We have received and acknowledged your request for a full refund.
The refund will be processed shortly, and you will receive a separate email confirmation once it is complete. Please note that it typically takes 2–5 business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank.”

I wrote back asking what sort of time frame I can expect with the word “shortly”. I received an auto reply telling me they will reply in 2 or more days!

28 January 2026. All messages and a refund is still missing.

29 - I will head to PayPal and go through the contrived steps to launch a refund case.

All in all, this site is very suspicious. It offers very cheap prices way below anyone else. I suspect that they do not have stock of most items (if the site is legitimate).

It concerns me that the site may be a scam as they do not provide an address on their phone number continually goes to a mailbox.

Their is a possibility that they are selling items that they do not have, take people’s money, bank on many not going through a refund process and keep the funds, and possibly refund payments to people like me who endure, although I am yet to see any evidence of this apparent refund.

My highest recommendation would be to steer clear of this site all together.

Inaccurate and dysfunctional with no shows and missing packages.

Estimated delivery over two days. The items have neither arrived on the earlier estimated day or the next estimated day. They allow themselves two days for accuracy and fail completely. This has happened on many occasions rendering their tracking as completely abusive, time wasting, counter productive, inconsistent, incorrect and dysfunctional. Further more, some items have displayed arrived locally, only to then show they are now 2000kms away in a different town 4 days later. Completely useless and they join the line with ARAMEX being equally useless.

Extremely dodgy and deceiving company

Extremely dodgy and deceiving company. After many years of being with them, I finally found the time to ditch them with our home wifi. My reason was that over the years, I have experienced their interruption calls attempting to upsell better services. I once had the free fibre to the premises on active install, then without notice, the process disappeared. It reappeared months later by TPG call centre staff in the Phillipines attempting to get me on a higher more expensive data bracket, and I would be rewarded with free fibre to the premises. Extremely deceptive.

After finally signing up with a different provider, and TPG notified, as well as me writing in, TOG took the liberty to charge me for another month and actually debit my account early.

When I noticed this in my bank, I contacted TPG (Phillipines call centre), and although it took a while, the operator said that ahead of time will reverse the payment and also the unused portion. It will take five days. I asked her to send me an email outlining this and she said that “we do not communicate by email”.

Thus company has previously list legal cases and their refusal to communicate by email speaks volumes as to why they worry about a paper trail.

It is now nine days later and that money is mysteriously absent in my account.

I have sent them countless emails, and they do not respond. I have specifically asked them to communicate by email only as their phone operators are not credible.

You will also find it extremely difficult to locate a web type form on their site whether logged in or not.

There is a button link for some strange messaging company that you need to join, although if joined, I am unsure if it will work.

Their other direct contact on there site returns a “404 page not found”.

In other words, they are forcing all to communicate by phone only so there isn’t a paper trail.

I am so glad I cancelled my connection, and will now cancel the mobiles moving to a different provider.

Highly suspicious and deceiving return process (if you eventually get that far)

I purchased an item from them last week, and we wish to return it in the original packaging still sealed.

Upon logging in to my account, orders, “return items”, away I go.

The only problem is that when it asks me for my email, the email box is already populated with my partially correct email, although displays a few wrong characters such as the % sign.

Whilst I would think all good, I highlight it with the mouse cursor and attempt to delete it. This operation does not work. My incorrect email that is populated in the box is fixed and locked.

Hence when I continue, it returns a “this email is not recognized”.

This is highly suspicious and deceiving to the public, no doubt in order to detract users from continuing to return.

I tried their chat but of course, no option for refund help or order numbers from their auto robot chatter.

Their emails to users and website has a massive amount of tracking and they are heavily into advertising.

I will now pursue this with vigor and steer clear from them in the future.

Lacking Clarity

After solely using Ergon since I lived in QLD, I recently joined ORIGIN as part of their Everyday Points reward deal which gave me 40’000 Everyday Reward Points for joining. (Received after 45 days). Hopefully this all works properly!

They do seem slightly more expensive, and their plans are mixed and confusing. They do not offer the same high clarity and recommendations from your account page that Ergon does.

After calling ORIGIN a few times with specific questions, I notice that the wait times exceed ERGON energy.

Further, their contract operators are located in call centres, mostly it appears in the Phillipines.

I find this very frustrating for many reasons. First of, it can be difficult to understand the users accent, and the reception is often muffled and not clear which makes it worse. Likewise, the background noises of people speaking can make it hard to hear.

Secondly, it is obvious that these operators are simply that, they lack hands on information and often leave users on hold while they “check with their supervisor”, and obviously they do not work for ORIGIN. I would suggest that any changes to your account would then be met with a second person, possibly from ORIGIN needing to contact you and wasting more of yours and everyone’s time. This operators are clearly not authorized ORIGIN employees.

My situation as a new member has already taken away my credibility with ORIGIN.

Alternatively, ERGON energy QLD has operators who I believe are directly employed by Ergon who are on shore and native English speakers which allows for a much better understanding and clarity. I always found Ergon’s operators completely knowledgeable and are fully authorized to make changes.

In reply to ORIGIN.

The Everyday Rewards points have not come through as your information suggests that it will take 45 days. I am however keeping my eyes glued.

I do not do “FACEBOOK”.

Highest recommendation

I have been using Ergon for our home electricity
for approximately 25 years.

I went through a period of time with divorce and kids where I was struggling to meet my power bills,Ergon were most understanding and obliging to place me on a payment plan which solved the problem.

They also had a system named by memory “smooth pay” which when users joined, they received a one of $50 credit. Smooth pay allowed for regular smaller auto payments from a users account so when there bill arrived, it was usually in credit.

Sometime later, Ergon had a company system rehash of sorts, and Smooth Pay was obsolete.

Whenever I needed to talk with Ergon, it was always a pleasure receiving a native English speaker within Australia which gave proper clarity. I always found them overly helpful, friendly and informative, and at times it felt like I was talking to my next door neighbor.

More recently, I notice that they outline users with an electronic meter alternate Tariffs using the users average use in order for the user to save money. I find this highly beneficial and informative.

I really cannot find any complaints with Ergon and can only highly recommend them with an impeccable rating.

ANKER fails on customer back up support

ANKER Australia completely ignore my questions through products they sell on the AMAZON Australia site. I am not sure if ANKER Australia and USA are the same.

Whilst a few of their battery packs that we owned have swelled up, my question related to a simple EUFY vacuum cleaner.

As consumers understand, and I certainly do, there is nothing worse than purchasing a branded product only to feel isolated with the absence of the companies back up support. In this case, they have now foregone a sale of a product of which I was satisfied with, and have now made the purchase of a similar product offered by a competitor brand. Naturally I will pass my dissatisfaction onto family and friends.

I often opt in to spend a little more on a well known brand over a generic product feeling secure that I will have back up support.

When that support fails, it causes anxiety, stress and is not healthy for me as an honest consumer wanting to be a part of the branded family to make it all work with two way moral clarity.

Appalling Over many years

Over many years, the majority of my AMAZON purchases have been handled by ARAMEX which indicates they are who they use for cost.

I would estimate that 60% of my packages do not arrive on time (according to ARAMEX tracking), and can take 2 to 3 days more.

This is very much the normal for them going back many years.

I have no doubt that the majority also have this same poor experience.

Please message a formal complaint to AMAZON in the hope that they change their choice of carrier.

Manipulated Goods

I purchased a Brand EUFY Model X8 robot vacuum.

The model is supposed to have a 5200 Mah battery. This is outlined on the EUFY site and also the manual that came with the machine.

The one I received had a 2600 Mah battery.

This came from an Australian seller “ etrade”.

The seller was not accepting and was highly manipulative in response.

I left feedback in regards to receiving the product with an inferior battery.

As fast as I left that feedback, it disappeared without word.

EBay is nowhere to be found to talk with or email.

It would appear that EBay has a strategy of removing 95% of negative feedback to nor’easter users.
