disappointing experience
I had a disappointing experience with Enterprise at Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
Although the vehicle was returned on time, in perfect condition, and with a full fuel tank, a significant portion of my deposit was deducted without prior notice or explanation. I was charged 10,000 TRY as a security deposit, yet only 7,107 TRY was refunded.
No damage, penalties, or additional charges were communicated to me at the time of return. The lack of transparency and the absence of a clear breakdown for the deduction are highly concerning.
As a customer, I expect professionalism, clarity, and accountability—especially when it comes to financial transactions. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations.
I hope the company reviews its refund process and improves communication to avoid similar situations with other customers.
Ridiculous requirements
Ridiculous requirements. I rented a car one way to SeaTac Airport providing old bills and other bull***t required (Hello just Google some one to confirm address). Used a debit card and away I go. Return trip is the reason they get the one star preferably 0 star score. I reserved a car online at SeaTac enterprise car rental (website kept f'ing up). When I arrived after 39 hours traveling (16 hours flying 23 hours layover) they refused to take debit card as payment unless I provide proof of roundtrip ticket. Leaving me stuck there. While I'm there I am listening to another customer crying due to the same issue she had a debit card for payment. I used a rideshare app to get home at twice the price (I did have a credit card with me ,but I choose when to use it not them). Worthless company won't be using them again.
Terrible Service
Requested snow tires and booked several weeks in advance. They confirmed 4 days prior and when I arrived they did not have it. They suggested I drive to another location to pick up the vehicle. I mentioned that I had a long drive and would not have the time to do it but i relented and when I got to the other location it was not vehicle that I requested. I have called customer service 3 times and each time they mention that someone will get back and but I have not heard from anyone. I do not expect anyone will contact me regarding this review

dropped my car off for repair at Crash Champion in Hutto and was scheduled for Enterprise to pick me up from the Pflugerville location on FM 685. After waiting 35 minutes, I called to complain about the delay and was told the driver had left approximately 15 minutes earlier.
When the driver finally arrived, my wife and I got into the van. The driver then informed us that because I had complained about the wait time, they would not be providing service to us.
Staff haven’t a clue
Totally inefficient I spoke to 3 different people at Liverpool airport & their off site office in Speke & a call centre
My question was can I put my dog in the car answers as follows
1) YES but car has to be returned free of any dog hair etc
2) YES but dog has to be crated
3) NO WAY I was told at the Speke office today as they have a NO PETS POLICY
I’ve used enterprise for about 20 years I’ve now gone to HERTZ who are far more helpful

Very poor customer service at their Burnley Branch and their head office in following up a complaint. All the time I am having to chase up their customer services team - all very disappointing. Sounds like the usual thing, when a company gets big their customer service deteriates as I have experienced.
WORST RENTALEXPERIENCE EVER
WORST RENTALEXPERIENCE EVER, I DO NOTRECOMMEND. Reserved a vehicle for medical appointment, called and confirmed reservation day before and was told everything is fine. When I showed up for my rental the agent said no vehicle available and in fact there was a 2 week waiting list. He offered no help finding a solution and in fact said "this is the normal*. He also stated that enterprise will always say there is a vehicle available and reserve one, even when no vehicles are. I called customer service and after speaking with a rep, I was told the matter would be escalated and a regional manager would get back to me within an hour and they will find a solution, even if it means shuttling me to another location with available vehicles and if I don't get a call back in 2hrs to call again. I called back after 2hrs and was told same thing. It's the next day now and I've missed my appointment and still haven't heard back from them. WORST RENTAL COMPANY EVER. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Estafadores profesionales. Denunciar a comisaría y a OCU. 800€ quieren cargarme por una bandeja de la parte trasera que no venía. Y el coche de sustitución durmió en garaje privado y no lo he dejado en la calle solo. Me hicieron el lío al retirarlo Carlos ni aparece ni da señales. Son ESTAFADORES HABITUALES Y SE LES VA A ACABAR LAS ESTAFAS... LO HACEN POR NORMA. Me están causando una angustia innecesaria, además de un perjuicio económico. Sufro estrés postraumático crónico y depresiones recurrentes. Me estoy medicando desde el dia 6 que deje el vehículo. Mi seguro de coche gestiona el alquiler pero esto se lava las manos, y el coche que me dieron era Citroën y yo tengo un opel... ESTAFAFORES Y ELLA LO PEOR. CHAMARTIN, CLARA CAMPOAMOR ENTERPRISE ESTAFADORES Y OS DESEO POR INFINITO LO QUE HACEIS EN VUESTRAS VIDAS... GENTUZA.
Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs. I got 3 car parking fines where I work. They got cancelled by my boss as im entitled to park there and they tried to get £105 admin for sending 3 emails even though they paid NO fees and neither did I! Getting in touch with people is impossible and iv been constantly hounded for money!! Worst place ever to rent a car. Please avoid this company and save yourself any hassle and harassment. All they care about is money!! Never ever will i return to these money grabbers!

Outstanding Service at Marsh Barton – Josh & Ben Went Above and Beyond
I had a fantastic experience with the team at the Marsh Barton branch in Exeter. In particular, Josh and Ben were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to help us out.
We initially arrived without the driver’s credit card, which meant we couldn’t take the vehicle. We had to battle heavy traffic to rush back and retrieve it, and I called to explain the situation. Not only were they understanding, but they were also willing to stay after closing time so we could still collect the vehicle — which we really appreciated.
On top of that, we were also late returning the vehicle, and once again they handled it with professionalism and flexibility.
It’s rare to come across such helpful, understanding customer service. Josh and Ben made what could have been a very stressful situation much easier. A real credit to the branch — thank you both!

Nous ne l'avons jamais reçu.
Nous étions assuré mais sans facture l'assurance a refusé le remboursement. Malgré nos nombreuses relances, entreprise a fait la sourde oreille.
Du vol! Donc à fuir!!!

The problems already started at the pick-up point. There was only one small shuttle bus for many customers with large luggage, which caused long delays and chaotic boarding. It took nearly an hour before we finally received our car.
The vehicle handover was rushed. Although existing body damage was briefly checked, windshield damage and stone chips were not explained or inspected together with us. In hindsight, this clearly works against the customer.
At return, two small stone chips in the windshield were suddenly claimed, which we strongly dispute. No photos, inspection report, or pre-rental documentation could be provided as proof. Despite this, €1,200 was immediately blocked on our credit card, and we have formally disputed the charge.
Our advice: thoroughly inspect the car at pick-up and take photos and videos of everything, especially the windshield. Based on our experience, we would not rent from this company again.

enterprise arbeitete in meinem Fall mit einem zertifizierten Sachverständigen beim TÜV zusammen, der kurzerhand und mit meinen Fotos (!) deren verlogene Behauptung mit seitenlangem, wichtigtuerischem Sermon bestätigte.
Ziel ist, die Kaution in voller Höhe einzubehalten, immerhin über 1000.00 €.
Das passierte nach der zweiten Miete, nachdem die erste Vertrauen vorgaukeln sollte. Denen ist es lieber, die Kaution einzustreichen, als dauerhafte Kundenbeziehungen zu pflegen. Hier einen Mietvertrag abzuschließen, davor kann man nur warnen.

I Rented A Vehicle From The Redondo Beach Office And My Experience Has Always Been Good At This Location.Unfortunately I Suffered A Medical Emergency In The Vehicle Which Required An Extended Stay In The ICU Unit In The Hospital. My Personal Belongings Were Left In The Vehicle Including A Water Jug Tied Closed In A Secure Bag. The Water Bottle Container Over 800.00 In Quarters And Antique Quarters They Were Being Transported To A Friend To Be Delivered To My Son For My Granddaughter.The Vehicle Was Impounded And Retrieved By The Glendale Office Of Enterprise.I Was Not Able To Request My Belongings For At Least 3 Weeks. When I Spoke To The Manager Of The Glendale(Ca.) Office He Said They Had My Belongings Except They Had Not Found The Water Bottle Of Coins. I Called Back About 2Hrs. Later And The Jug Was Found. When I Arrived My Personal Belongings Were Retrieved. (Journal, Computer Bag etc...) When They Brought My Jug Out Not Only Was It Not Secured It The Bag That Once Possessed It.Most Of The Quarters Were Gone.Not Only Were The Antique Quarters Gone. Whoever Took Them Had Been Rolling The Quarters To Identify The Antique Quarters Based On The Rolled Quarters That Had Been Left In The Bottle.I Asked To Speak With The Manager(Christian) And WAs Told He Was Busy. I Left Explaining That I Would Call Back Because Someone Had Violated The Trust Of Enterprise And It's Business Ethics And Committed A Felony In The Process .The Value Of The Antique Quarters Is Well Over 50.000$ And My Health Is Deteriated To The Point I Haven't Made It To The Police Station To File The Complaint.It Is Almost A 3hr. Ride On The Bus As I Am Not Able To Travel Well. I Spoke To A Representative Of Enterprise Car Rental And Was Assured Of A Call Back Within 24hrs. That Was A Week Ago. I Will Be Making That Bus Ride Tomorrow To File A Complaint With The Authorities. I Am Devastated By This Egregious Act.

Ich habe sehr gute Erfahrungen mit Enterprise Rent-A-Car gemacht. Der Service war freundlich, professionell und unkompliziert. Die Abholung sowie die Rückgabe des Fahrzeugs verliefen schnell und reibungslos. Das Auto war sauber, gut gepflegt und entsprach genau der gebuchten Kategorie.
Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist der hilfsbereite Kundenservice, der auf Fragen und Wünsche sofort eingegangen ist. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war fair und transparent.
Ich bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden und würde Enterprise jederzeit weiterempfehlen.
A fuir...rarement vu aussi malhonnête
La durite du système de refroidissement du véhicule qui m'a été confié a lâchée moins de 24h après le début de la location. Résultat j'ai été bloqué une journée pour récupérer un nouveau véhicule. A la limite pourquoi pas, ce sont des choses qui arrivent. Par contre, me réclamer 1100€ et me mettre en cause alors qu'il n'y a eu aucune erreur de ma part c'est trop.

Been renting for awhile now. Change your website if I cant get trucks. I tried 4 times. Also didn't Change price difference for my non truck rental. I do not live near a truck location. This was a stupid decision by coporate
