Contact info doesn't work.
Contacted Spellara when my item arrived damaged. Was told a new item would be sent & haven't heard anything in over 2 weeks?
Phone number on their website doesn't work.

I wasn't aware that you expected the refund without returning the item, so that is why it took as long as it did.

I have responded and refunded you before I got a notification of this review which I find quite unfair given the circumstances.

UPDATE: After reviewing our messages I just want to make it clear that you refused a new item to be sent because you thought it might be damaged by the post like the first one was. You wanted a refund. As I said, I was not aware you wanted the refund without returning the damaged item. Which I also find a bit unjustified. But here we are with a 1-star review and a free expansion with a dent in it for you. Nice.

Poor product quality, concerns about authenticity

I ordered several board games and received what appear to be counterfeit copies, all with visible quality issues such as misprints and fuzzy graphics. I contacted customer service requesting replacement or refund, and to their credit, Spellara responded quickly and supplied a prepaid return label, agreeing to a full refund which I have now received.

They stated that they are investigating the matter with their suppliers, and I acknowledge this may originate further up the supply chain. However, the fact that all five games in my order had obvious defects visible (even before opening them) makes me hesitant to buy from this shop again. I have since seen another review mentioning similar defects, so it doesn’t appear my case was isolated. I hope their investigation leads to better quality control.

Update: After posting this review, the company contacted me privately requesting that elements of my review be changed or removed. This was notable because they normally respond publicly to critical reviews on Trustpilot, but chose not to in this case.

I also note that the business flagged this review as defamatory before contacting me, but Trustpilot assessed it and reinstated it as compliant.

I stand by my experience and am happy to provide photographs or further evidence to any party that requests it. If the company later demonstrates that their investigation has verified authenticity or taken corrective action, I will update this review accordingly.

Great experience + Easy communication

Great experience! Ordered on 30/Oct evening, but I needed to make a few changes to my order (added + removed ordered games). Communication was very easy and smooth with Simon and package was passed to GLS 31/Oct and already received 2/Nov. Would buy from them again next time I need something!
