No technical knowledge the mechanics have their . Specially in Varanasi Rajendra toyota is the worst dealer and worst service center . Since 4 days they have my hy ryder strong hybrid and cannot find the problem . They are not even responsible to send updates or quote any delivery time as when the starting problem can be fixed . WILL NEVER BUY A VEHICLE OF TOYOTA AGAIN !!!! MOST PATHETIC PEOPLE AND MANAGEMENT

The SatNav in my RAV4 car does something very strange recently. I call the customer center to ask what to do. The operator on the phone suggests that it could be a problem of software update. “Ok, how can I proceed?”. I am told I have to do it through the Toyota website and read the FAQ… Honestly, I can do it without calling the customer centre. The operator also told me I can do it directly from the car, hot spotting my phone. When I ask “great, how can I proceed?” I am told “Signora, vedo che lei è un po’ asciutta… non posso aiutarla al telefono” that means “I can see you do not have the IT expertise to do it”. The operator doesn’t know I have a PhD in engineering and connecting my car to the Wi-Fi of my phone is very easy for me. The point is that if you call a customer service, you do not want to hear that you are incompetent and that for this reason the operator cannot help you. You’d rather hear something saying “I’ll do my best to help you”. I found it insulting and hung up. And … for the record, I did connect the car to the net of my phone and there is no software update available. Maybe the operator could have simply ruled out that option knowing the plate of my car…

I’m a tourist in Italy, and yesterday the aircon in my Toyota Land Cruiser gave up in 30C.
I went to Activa-Toyota in Trento after 5 p.m. Here a young English speaking woman took really good care of me. She spoke with an equally helpful mechanic, who drove ahead of me to an independent workshop.
Here a friendly, English speaking mechanic of Afghanistan descent stayed behind until after 6 pm to solve the problem. The aircon is now doing its job. I’m sorry I didn’t get all your names, but it was a great Toyota experience and at the same time a nice Italian experience for a tourist!
