Very disappointing experience with Lemon Squeezy. I applied to sell premium Framer templates and was initially rejected. However, a team member (Kashish) reached out asking for a "re-evaluation." They specifically requested a demo video, a pricing breakdown, and a detailed business model.

I spent significant time recording a video walkthrough and providing all the requested details. Immediately after sending it, I received a generic, boilerplate rejection email that was clearly an automated template. It is clear they didn't even watch the video or review the details. If your risk algorithm is going to say "no" regardless of product quality, don't waste creators' time asking for extra work. Unprofessional and discouraging for new businesses.

I moved to Lemon Squeezy because they were acquired by Stripe, expecting a reliable platform. It has been a nightmare.

I have 4 active paying clients and my Lemon Squeezy dashboard clearly shows active revenue of $244.90. Despite this, I have never received a single payout.

When I finally got a response from support (after waiting a full week), they claimed I have a "Negative Balance" of -$117 and refused to pay me.

The math is impossible:

Dashboard Revenue: $244.90

Total Refunds Issued: $171.00 (One partial refund)

Result: I should still have a positive balance.

Instead, they are holding my funds, my Stripe Express account is empty, and they are claiming I owe them money.

I contacted Stripe directly, and they investigated (Ticket sco_TuWOLld061LJ15), confirming the issue is on Lemon Squeezy's end for failing to push the funds.

If you like getting paid for your work, avoid this platform. They can't do basic subtraction and will ghost you for weeks.

This was truly a bad experience with this website. They've frozen my money and refuse to release it, claiming my information is rejected. They also refuse to let me rewrite it.

Yup they will take 2+ weeks to verify your identity, and if you got customers and they pay you, lemon squeezy will hold your money

Using Lemon Squeezy has been one of the most frustrating experiences for my business, as their 'Merchant of Record' promise quickly dissolved into a bureaucratic nightmare of frozen payouts and non-existent support. The platform feels like it's been abandoned since the Stripe acquisition, with persistent bugs in the checkout process and random errors that prevent customers from even completing a purchase. For any creator who values transparency and reliable access to their earnings, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere—this service is more about squeezing the merchant than helping them grow.

Lemon Squeezy is extremely unreliable.
They request a huge amount of data, detailed explanations, websites, social links, and business information. After collecting everything, they suddenly claim they “cannot validate domain ownership” without providing any clear or actionable reason.
This is unbelievable and highly unprofessional. A massive waste of time and effort.
Avoid at all costs.

I regret letting my ignorance choosing this platform to Launch my business. The platform is outdated and doesn’t work properly, there are no instructions on anything and non existent support. I unfortunately moved through the step in which I added my bank account info (otherwise it doesn’t let you move forward with the creation) and I deeply regret it. Been asking for my data to be removed completely for days with no response, yet spam automated emails come daily.

Wanted to publish an e-book, with more than 10 customers waiting, but they are not verifying my identity for over 3 weeks now. Contacted support twice, never got a response. Horrible.

The worst payment provider I've encountered.

Almost every month we're paid the wrong amount. Out customers are charged VAT and no VAT at random. Nobody replies to messages.

I struggle to work out what they do that works.

LemonSqueezy appears to be abandoned. Critical bugs remain unfixed, and support has become completely unresponsive. I've tried everything: emails, forum posts, even reaching out to multiple employees on Twitter. No response from anyone.
Since being acquired by Stripe, they've also removed their public roadmap, which isn't a good sign. At this point, I wouldn't recommend trusting LemonSqueezy for any new projects. I deeply regret it...

Very bad tools do not recommend, bugs etc.

It's a complete scam. No support from their customer service. I emailed them multiple times, but no replies. If you get stuck anywhere, you will lose everything as long as there is no one to solve your problem.

Even one star is too much. I have cancelled subscriptions and they are still taking money off my card. Customer Support doesn't answer. Do not use REVID Ai or Lemon Squeezy.

There is almost no customer support.

I used them to process thousands of dollars in payments and everything ran kinda smooth, but when there is any problem, I wait days between emails, and most of them are just evident that the person has not really understood your problem or situation...

Their tech is great, but with nearly non-existent customer support, they are not an option anymore for a payment processor, and we're migrating our products to other payment processors.

I would not recommend doing business with any company that uses this service as their payment processor I've paid for years subscription to revid on November 29th 2025 and it did not post I have tried every help form both on lemon squeezy and revid and have needed to email the owners of both lemon squeezy and revid to try to get this resolved so I don't have to initiate a chargeback on my American Express card. Buyer beware!

They have taken two payments, but I have never heard of them or how they gained access to my account. When trying to figure out which email is attached, I found that none of my emails are on their records to recover the account, if I have one. There is no number to contact to speak to someone to stop this. I want my money back.

I own a business with a PayPal Business account but found a need for fraud detection. I tried to sign up and without asking me for additional documentation including business registration, the customer support rejected my application. The apps are completed marketplaces currently using PayPal Business.

Then when I tried to delete my account after frustration talking to what looks like a human being worse than a robot, I had no way to do it via their website. I had to email. They did not send me my documents or ANY proof that my account was deleted.

Absolutely trash customer support.
They use a horrible AI chat support that doesn’t work and the only way to contact a human is through mail with over a week response time if you’re lucky.
I bought something through their merchant, they had a 14 day money back guarantee but also had horrible customer support. So I contacted Lemon Swueezy and after a weeks time they replied that they gave the merchant 48 hour to reply, if they didn’t then I would mail them back and they would process a refund.

48 hours went so I sent them a mail back, it’s been a week now and I haven’t heard from them yet, I’ve sent 3-4 mails since those 48 hours passed and I’m still left in the dark.

I cannot for the life of me describe how absolutely awful their customer support service is, it’s built to try and force customers to give up on contacting them.
