Shiva's Guard is an item purchasable at the Base Shop, under Armor. However, it can only be completed with items from the Secret Shop.

- The item's attributes grant the following additional stats:
- 110 health and 0.5 health regeneration.
- 60 mana, 0.25 mana regeneration and 0.5% flat base magic resistance.
- 5 attack speed and 0.83 main armor.
- 5 main attack damage to all

Emits an expanding freezing wave that follows and covers an area around the caster, dealing damage and slowing movement speed of enemies as it reaches them.

Tips
[edit]- Arctic Blast's effect hits every enemy once within its radius, even after its edge has expanded past the target. Because of its slow expansion time (taking about 2 seconds to reach max radius), it can be thought of as a moving area effect, centered on the hero.
- Use Arctic Blast before blinking or engaging an enemy to instantly deal area damage and movement slow upon initiation.
- This can be used to instantly disable enemy Blink Daggers by prematurely using Arctic Blast out of vision and then blinking onto an enemy.
- A useful item against enemies with mana burn. It greatly increases a hero's mana pool, and its aura slows the number of mana burning attacks made against its owner.
- Good against heroes and creeps with low attack speed, causing them to attack even slower.
Trivia
[edit]- The name "Shiva" is a reference to the Shiva of the Final Fantasy series, an elemental summon with the power of ice.

Description
- Arctic Blast no longer deals 1.5 times damage against illusions.
- Freezing Aura
- Health Regen Manipulation, Lifesteal Manipulation, and Spell Lifesteal Manipulation are now replaced by Health Restoration Manipulation, combining all three into one mechanic.
- Reduction value remains 25%.
- Increased Recipe cost from 1700
to 2050 (total cost increases ▲ from 4825 to 5175 ). - Armor bonus decreased from +16 to +15.
- All attributes bonus decreased from +6 to +5.
- Health regen bonus decreased from +6 to +5.
