Whenever the wielder attacks a hero or is attacked by a any unit, the boots' passive health regeneration bonus is lost, and the movement speed bonus is reduced for a while.

The downtime is affected by cooldown reductions. However, although cooldown resetting effects visually reset the cooldown, they do not reset the broken state.

- Reduces Tranquil Boots' bonuses to 40 movement speed and 0 health regeneration.
- Only triggers when the wielder's attacks land, or when an attack lands on the wielder.
- This means missed or disjointed attacks do not trigger Break.
- Also reacts on instant attacks that normally do not trigger on-attack effects.
- Does not break upon attacking non-hero units. Treats creep-heroes as creeps.
Tranquil Boots are always in the broken state for illusions, and permanently appear broken on allied illusions. Do not appear broken on enemy illusions, until they attack or are attacked.
