Restoration manipulation refers to any form of amplification and reduction applied to healing, health restoration (which includes health regeneration, lifesteal, and spell lifesteal), mana replenish, and mana restoration (which includes mana regeneration).

Stacking

- Heal Manipulation sources are summed up and then applied to the healing source. Stacks additively.
- Heal manipulation has a lower cap of -100%, which effectively results in complete heal negation.
- There is no upper cap for heal manipulation.
- Health Restoration amplification sources and reduction sources are first caculated separately.
- Health restoration amplification sources stack diminishingly with each other.
- Health restoration reduction sources stack diminishingly with each other.
- Total health restoration manipulation is a sum of the stacked amplifications and reductions.
- Restoration manipulation has a lower cap of -100%, which effectively results in complete restoration negation.
- Restoration manipulation has an upper cap of +100%, which effectively results in doubled restoration.
- Health Regen Manipulation amplification sources and reduction sources are first caculated separately.

Health Regen Manipulation
[edit]Health Regen Manipulation is a deprecated mechanic that affects all Health regeneration of a unit.
Health Regen Reduction stacks diminishingly. Health Regen Amp stacks additively.
Amplifications and Reductions calculated separately, and then additively added up for the final result.
Total Health Regen Manipulation has a lower cap of -100%, and no upper cap.
- Total Health Regen Manipulation usually stacks addictively with Total Health Restoration.
Explicitly affects the health regeneration value of affected units. Despite being deprecated, the following abilities still use it.

Attribute Shift
[edit] Attribute Shift is considered hp regeneration.
Affected by Health Regen Manipulation and Health Restoration.
The lower cap is -100% but the higher cap is 0%.
The effectiveness of the reduction directly depends on the % of missing HP.
If Morphling's current health is 100%, the HP gain reduction will have no effect and vice versa.
Formula for calculating efficiency: 22 - (% total reduction from % missing HP) [?]
MAX HP always increases by 22. Under certain circumstances, for each reduced HP gain the % of current hp will decrease and because of this the next hp gain will decrease even more.
Health Freeze
[edit]Health Freeze causes all heal and health restoration effects to not tapply to the unit. The values area still registered and can still proc on-heal effects.

Description
- Lifesteal manipulation, spell lifesteal manipulation, and health regen manipulation are now summed up into one mechanic called health restoration manipulation.
- Provides a percentage increase of decrease to health regen, lifesteal, and spell lifesteal.
- Health restoration manipulation stacks diminishingly, with amplifications and reductions calculated separately, and then added up for the final result.
- Health restoration manipulation is capped at -100% and +100%.
- Heal manipulation is independent from restoration manipulation, and still only affects what the game considers as a heal.
- Health regen, lifesteal, and spell lifesteal are not considered healing.
- Heal manipulation sources now all stack additively with each other, instead of diminishingly. [?]
