I appreciate that Fineco responded in a timely way to my inquiry about why I could not download the Fineco banking app on the apple iphone. I was disappointed to learn that the reason is related to an agreement with Apple regarding countries other than England and Italy (phones with Apple id's in these countries can download the app). There are many advertisements noting that Fineco is making banking easy; this problem does not make banking easy in this very global environment and I hope that the issue can be resolved.

Yesterday my card was blocked all of a sudden and they sent a message to my email that my card has been blocked for security reasons.They wrote that I will be called to confirm if truly I was the person making use of the card to transfer money.They eventually called to confirm with me and I told them that it was me the actual client making the transactions and he told me that was what they needed to unblock my card.He told me he is unblocking my card with immediate effect.I waited for some hours my card was still unblocked so I called the customer service but nobody was picking.It has been 24 hrs my card is yet to be unblocked.I called them this morning several times and nobody is picking the calls.I am highly frustrated right now by FinecoBank and the customer service which is quite incompetent of them.I need to make use of my money because I don’t know their plans if they want to steal my money because I have seen so many reviews about that.I need a feedback from them to unblock my account.

- it does not provide any reference to the market IRS used as the benchmark for the fixed rate, nor to the spread applied;
- it does not include the APR (TAEG) nor the overall costs, which are essential elements under the provisions of the Bank of Italy;
- it is not accompanied by a link or reference to the current Information Sheet (Foglio Informativo), publicly available on your website, as required by art. 117 TUB and the transparency regulations.
Someone just sat in front of their laptop and sent a meaningless rate completely ignoring legal requirements.

The best bank I've had an account with
I can only speak about the Italian branches, but Fineco has been the most reliable and supportive bank I have had an account with. Not only that, they have very good English!
I set up my account with only the documents stated as necessary with no delays (compared to others in Italy which required outdated documents and special forms for me as a non-EU citizen), in person at a Milan office; my advisor spoke perfect English and enunciated contract terms very well.
Afterwards, I have been using the website and app for banking, whose interface leaves a little to be desired (the website is more disorganised in this aspect), however I have never had issues or bugs. I am not a trader in crypto or stocks etc but the multi-currency exchange features have saved me often from higher commission fees.
Due to the bureaucracy, I have had some issues with some processes, that are also outdated, such as the need for certain verifications and use of postal delivery rather than being completely online or in person, however the customer support is available even when Italian banks would usually be closed, on non-working days as well. Responses are always prompt and helpful and it has simplified my navigation of the Italian administrative processes a lot :D
Overall, I always recommend Fineco to all my friends, especially the international ones, with the caveat that Fineco does not seem to be absolutely fully autonomous, relying on the UniCredit ATM circuit for example, and not being available directly under the PagoPA system - these have never caused any real issues for me in the four years I have been with them.

If you are not speaking Italian dont take this bank! Take BBVA. Fineco set up completely in italian, only non-english speakers and you are being insulted over the phone when you dont speak italian.
