Bad experience,11 hours journey and the bus don't stop on any petrol station or restaurant, it stops 3 times for 10 minutes to leave and pick up more people and that's it, they don't have water, what for me is very weird because i am from Brasil and there, any bus company that does long journey travels have water, i also traveled around Spain and there they have at least one stop for half an hour somewhere on the way to eat something
€10,000+ Stolen by FlixBus
On a bus trip from Frankfurt to Amsterdam on July 2nd 2025 I was abandoned by FlixBus on a toilet break in Cologne,Germany. The bus drive away with 4 bags of mine with items containing more than €10,000 in worth.
Even after filling in their lost and found form TWICE I have got no response and no call back after 6 months have passed.
If by any chance I do get my stolen goods back I will adjust this post. Until then I strongly believe FLIXBUS is not a company that can be trusted.

Worst company ever in Belgium.
I was at the busstop at least 20 min before departure.
Waited more than 1.5 hours in total, in the rain and cold, mid winter for a bus that never showed up. They lie on the monitors saying the bus was on time, while there were at least 10, 15 other people waiting for it. And then they refuse to give you a refund.
It's not the first time it happened but it def will be the last. NEVER USING FLIXBUS AGAIN!!!!
Drivers smoke on route
Lack of information, no bay/gate displayed for transfers, no heating in minus degrees, no stops, the drivers smoking while the passengers can't breathe.

I would give no starts if possible. We are now in the bus from Antwerpen to Amsterdam which was supposed to be at 7 pm on 29 December but only came at 8:04 . I can understand the traffic but the bus driver was watching football from his phone during driving, to the point where he announced the match score on speakers putting everyone’s life in danger by watching video while driving. He is extremely rude and while we were lined up to get in the bus, he said ‘wait’ rudely and then took some other people first whom appareantly spoke his language and from his nationality. I am also going to file a complaint about the driver.
Pick any other form of transportation
They seem cheap buy they carge extra for everything like changing times better to pay double somewhere else. No empathy or help from helpdesk Esau didn't help and was nasty about it
Delayed for 3+ hours, no notice and dirty bus. Never again.
We booked a ticket from Brussels to Maastricht and our bus was delayed for 3 hours in total. It was supposed to leave at 9.30am, then got delayed to 11.40 am. In the end we waited for an additional hour in the cold without any notice. Bus is dirty and service is terrible. Never again.
Never again
They cancelled my trip last ( less than 24 hours before) minute giving me alternatives that totally did not suit me and they did not compensate me the car that I rent in order to catch my scheduled appointments. Btw the price of the car was not much more expensive than their bus. Thy kept on lying to me by saying that the bus was cancelled due to bad weather, but there was no bad weather at all that day and their busses of 1 hour later operated normally...NEVER AGAIN!!
Unexpected behavior!!
That was my fast travel with flixbus but unfortunately it didn’t go really well.
I had to go to France for family emergency and needed to be there next day so I thought flixbus will be better choice so I reserved two ticket just for myself. When i go to the staion I saw the bus next to the stop and it is not even 50 staps away from the stop and there wasn’t much time left so i thought bus is waiting there and I thought it’s good to ask anyone, i went next to the bus but before i said anything the driver roll down the window and started shouting at me. And he was so rude to me i didn’t even ask anything!! There wasn’t even anything saying " Not in service".
This unexpected behavior not only pissed me off but also ruined my journey!
This can’t be a professional manner!!
Driver Smoking Inside the Bus – Company Shows Zero Care
I had one of the worst travel experiences of my life with FlixBus. During my trip, the bus driver was smoking inside the bus while driving. The smell of cigarette smoke filled the air, and there was no real way to escape it. I was forced to sit there and inhale it, feeling trapped and worried about my health the entire time. This is not just unprofessional – it’s dangerous and completely unacceptable.
When I contacted FlixBus customer service about it, hoping at least for a serious response or some kind of compensation, I received only cold, generic replies. There was no real sense of responsibility, no empathy, and no attempt to make things right. Refusing even a small refund after something this serious shows how little the company cares about passenger well-being, especially when people clearly suffered during the ride.
A company that tolerates drivers smoking in a closed bus and then hides behind “policy” instead of taking real responsibility is not a company I can trust. I will avoid FlixBus in the future and recommend others think twice before booking with them.

Their system sell wrong tickets for stops (Scam stops)
Bought ticket in Nederland for a stop. Turn out that day that stop was not in the route and I could get off in Amsterdam. Took me hours to get where my stop was after bus. As their driver confirmed their system sales tickets for wrong stops or for wrong bus rides. They ignored my feedback requests. Forget about paying for my public transport to back home, They did not even confirmed they read and fixed their problem in the system .
Not good
Rude, grump driver . Not allowed to sit together....despite pre booking seat numbers days earlier, it was a free for all. Terribly cramped and uncomfortable seating, drop tray didn't work..felt like I just spent 1.5 hours in a straight jacket. Two stars because it arrived on time and we got to our destination but very stressful.

Never ever travel with the company
Never ever travel with the company. They cancel the bus with no update and refused to refund me. They state that they will refund if the bus departed more than 2 hours. Byt if the bus was cancelled, and the next one is in 4 hours (so you paid to go and take the bus and they make you wait on the street for 4 hours) they say "Oh no, the bus you took was not delayed, it departed on time". Yeah, but you delayed me 4 hours. The worst company ever.
The driving was alright but the service…
The driving was alright but the service very poor and the staff very rude. They barely answer a question as a tourist and they even threw our backpacks carelessly on the ground while they had fragile things inside. And after complaining to the staff , they said they don't take responsibility about luggage and were very rude while speaking to us for no reason!!!!
