Poor service
This is the second time I am submitting the same set of documents.
I have received the email and submitted the documents on February 4 and then called to follow up with the bank because there was no action taken from the bank’s side after 2 working days (as stated in the bank email) and needed to resend a confirmation email because there was no action taken from the bank’s side after 2 working days (as stated in the bank email) and the person I talked to confirmed that account and credit card will be activated on the same day, which did not happen and now here I am on a weekend without access to my own funds.
I consider this a very dismissive attitude towards your customers (and I have an account in your bank since 2010!) And this is the 2nd time after I’m being mistreated from the bank’s side. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Great experience with wonderful RAK employee
We visited the Al Hamra branch today for assistance in closing a business bank account. We were helped by Ms. Nadya Al Nuaimi, who recognized us when we entered the branch, despite our absence of several months. Ms. Al Nuaimi was extremely helpful, describing exactly what we needed to do to close this account, and helped us complete the paperwork that is required for submission. Ms. Al Nuaimi is an exemplary employee of RAK Bank, and we are fortunate to have her at the Al Hamra Branch.
Literally the worst support ever
Literally the worst support for business line I’ve ever seen. Our private manager NEVER answers to my calls. To get a support calling a regular line you need to enter 13 digits of your account and you need to remember them all. if you swipe your screen to check the digits they say “thank you for calling, good bye”. If you send a message by email they answer several day with a typical question like a chat bot… no help, no support

Worst bank ever, I mistakenly put receiver name mistake and it’s been 3 month still money has not been to receiver or back to my account. When sending money they do it in 2 min while it have to be back they said it need 3/4 month. WTF. This is worst bank ever.

I recommend not buy any product from Rakbank from saving accounts to credit card to insurance products. Their bonuses, claims, benefits are not meeting the commitments. Customer care agents are not helpful. You will contact them again and again, They will pass the time and eventually time period will be over.
Customer service failure
I have had a RAK bank account for my company over 20years. Today they closed the account due to returned cheques in the past 12 months.
I was advised by phone of the closure two months ago. I submitted requested information that clearly demonstrated errors had been made with the posting of these cheques. Although I followed up as instructed to my Virtual Business Account Manager she never responded either to my mail or the seven messages left on her voice mail . Two days ago the debit card could no longer be used. Again I tried to contact my Virtual Business Account Manager. No response or call back.
Today I visited the concerned branch to collect the so called Managers cheque for the account balance. No one there could tell me anything and that they would send an e mail and my Virtual Business Account Manager would call me back.
Never happened. However I received an e mail with the final account statement attached.
I have found over the years that RAK customer service left a lot to be desired but this recent series of events demonstrates a further deterioration .
For small businesses this bank is, in my opinion, a very risky option now a days. "A I" driven, totally impersonal, but with good marketing and ID.
Don't expect to deal with anyone who cares or can make decisions.

Nightmare! The worst policy and customer service ever! you cannot believe them and do not be fooled by their promises. Different branches, different explanation. Different procedure. No consistency. Higher management should anonymously visit the branches and do some random checks about the policy and for sure they will be surprised. Waste of salary for those employee who does not have customer centricity or does not wven know it which ruin the image of the company.

Never trust their false advertisement
Never trust their false advertisement. They claim to open a business account in 72 hours. With me it took 35 days, and lastly when they asked for the same documents again, I cancelled everything as I don't want to have business with such a bank. So far the worst experience with any establishment I have had here in the UAE.

Some of their so-called "services" are more like customer nightmares. There’s no clear information provided upfront, and their e-services are extremely poor. Responses come at their convenience, not when the customer actually needs them. If you’re relying on their digital channels for something urgent, don’t expect timely support—it simply won’t happen.
