I mailed a small box from Oklahoma to…

I mailed a small box from Oklahoma to Queens, New York on February 4th and paid extra for priority mail.. It got stuck for two days in Warrendale PA so I put in an inquiry.. It finally moved to Brooklyn and now stuck there for a couple of day.. a total of 8 days so far and no end in sight. Someone from the post office called me a couple of days ago after my inquiry to tell me it's running late.. No Kidding.. Then I find out 2 to 3 days business is not guaranteed.. They are ripping people off by taking their money and then don't even care about when the package gets there.. This is worse than bad.. I don't ever remember this kind of service from the post office.. Lesson Learned

This is the least efficient branch of the US government . Ordered a package from California took a week to get here . It was the size of a baseball . It went to Dallas first then all the way to Austin . They have to pass right through my city on the way to Austin from Dallas . But they drive the extra hour to Austin then have to turn around and bring it an hour right back ! What a waste of tax payers money !

Unacceptable Transport Time For A Package

We went to the River Avenue Post Office in Eugene, OR. My complaint is not with the generally very nice staff there but the time it took for the shoebox-sized Priority Mail birthday gift for our granddaughter to get to Beaverton, OR, less than a two-hour drive up the road.

The package was dropped off February 7 Saturday at 11:11 a.m., not getting to its' final destination until February 11 at 10:02 a.m., the day after her birthday. Looking at the tracking it never left the Eugene Distribution Center until the afternoon of the 10th. That's pretty poor service.

My mother lived in Gulfport, MS. She and I used to send boxes to each other two decades ago and they made it across the country in two days quite frequently.

Perhaps I should have gone to UPS.

Get it together!!

Get it together!!! My package is stuck in transit probably because someone didn’t show up for work!!! I pay for Amazon Prime to get my orders quicker and honestly wtf is the point when you all fumble all the orders!!!! This has happened numerous times and we are sick of it! Should outlaw United states postal service from delivering mail until they get it figured out!

Usps should get zero stars but that's…

Usps should get zero stars but that's not an option. I know there are probably some responsible workers but overall their service is a joke now. They might as well say they've gone back to horse and buggy, although that would probably be faster. So sad that it's gone downhill as it has, yet they make sure to charge top dollar for the services.

Ms. Watkins,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding a recent issue with mail theft that occurred at the United States Post Office in Houston, TX (ZIP Code 77070). Two weeks ago, we discovered that our personal and highly important mail, including credit cards, a TWIC card, and a DPS Driver’s License along with a birth certificate, was stolen. We believe this mail was held at your facility for an unknown reason, and it is now clear that it was taken by someone at the post office.

It is disheartening to note that, after two weeks, the investigation into this matter is still ongoing and there has been no proactive communication from your office. This delay and lack of urgency are deeply concerning, especially considering the seriousness of identity theft and the risks we now face.

I also want to address the unprofessionalism and inadequate customer service we have experienced during this entire ordeal. As the manager at this location, I am extremely disappointed by the lack of support and responsiveness that we have received. Our concerns have been dismissed with little regard, and the manner in which this situation has been handled reflects poorly on the United States Postal Service.

Lost gift!

I sent a package with a handmade gift for a new baby and was reportedly delivered to the correct address. It was never received! Online help is a farce! You are never able to speak with a real person. It is impossible to find the local post office phone number!
I will no longer mail my packages from the USPS, even if it costs me significantly more $

Truth is Stranger Than Fiction

What a public embarrassment.

Here is the latest gem: I sent a certified letter to be delivered nine blocks away in the same zip code on 26 Jan 26. As of today, 06 Feb, 26, it's not updated in the system or delivered. I made a ticket complaint and here is the response from USPS Customer Service, our Post Office:

"I have attempted to contact our counterparts in ******** both by email and phone; however, I have unfortunately been unable to reach them."

My response was to send them a letter.

Falsely marking tracked mail orders as delivered

USPS is falsely marking tracked shipments as delivered. This is beyond frustrating to me because I lose all consumer protection provided by the company where I made the purchase. USPS is routinely doing this. Usually the package shows up the next day. On January 29th they classified my tracked mail as delivered, but that wasn’t true until Feb 2nd. And I have an EBay order that was marked delivered on February 2nd that is still missing. It’s February 6th. I don’t think I can just tell EBay “the post office is lying.”

Update: The parcel that was marked “delivered” February 2nd appeared in my mailbox on February 9th.

TERRIBLE

TERRIBLE, TERRIBL, TERRIBLE!! Do not waste your money using the USPO. I have lost more money in a single holiday season shipping air than every before. Paid for air shipping and packages did not get to customer for 7 days. Customers have written negative reviews regarding my shipping and the shipping was not my fault. I had to return money on varies purchases due to the USPO failure to get my air shipments to customers on time!! I have lost a lot of money and no one has ever done a thing. I have called customer service, written the local post master, as well as the post master in Washington, DC. To date, they have done nothing!. They just don't give a damn about your packages. PERIOD!

Today I had to contact the post office…

Today I had to contact the post office cause Shein used a logistics name JCEX to delivery my package and they said they handed it over to the post office for final delivery. The whole tracking into you could tell was bogus. So u called post office and talked to a guy name Terry. He refused to help me
Said they did not deliver it and it wasn't their tracking numbers and they had nothing on it. But when I asked him could her send me email confirming this and he refused!! Said they didn't have nothing to do with it and Shein knew that, but Shein is telling me since it's marked delivered I can't get a refund 8 needed something from USPS. After saying they had nothing to do with it he refused to help me. I'm calling the BOG first thing Monday morning. For him to know the post office didn't have it and not to help me was unacceptable

I live in a rural area. USPS refused to deliver packages to me when there was a small amount of snow on my driveway 4 times in the last month.
