When the family left my establishment, they appeared to be happy, and I received no indication of any dissatisfaction at that time. I even provided them with a card and additional treats as a gesture of goodwill. In an effort to resolve any concerns, I issued a refund prior to the online comments made about me.
I understand that my initial apology may not have been perfect, but my intention was to minimize conflict and ensure a positive outcome. It’s disheartening to see how some individuals choose to diminish others rather than support them.’”
How can anyone be this stubbornly unable to admit fault? How can you possibly, with hindsight and SO much backlash, not understand how egregious this is??? Completely bananas!

someone else notes in another chain that there’s unlikely to be actual “permanent” (chemical process) color that is pet safe and confirms that Opawz is not actually permanent, it appears to just be a particularly pigmented semipermanent. the difference between permanent and semipermanent dye has to do with whether you are just depositing pigment into the hair shaft, or actually creating some sort of chemical process with the hair protein at the same time. neither 7 hours nor 13 hours are appropriate or reasonable amounts of time to groom or dye a dog of these two types unless they are rescue cases with severe matting so i have to assume based on the photo of the groomer with her entire hand covered in dye and no glove (???) that she was just applying and reapplying dye badly on these poor dogs over and over again anyway its a matte of time until she poisons or injures someone’s animal if she hasnt done it already

I can’t feel my hands or feet anymore. The cold is destroying us, the storms won’t stop, and the shelter gives no protection. My family is shaking, my mother is in pain there is no warmth, no safety.

the other thing about the covid panickers is like. the only course of political action they propose is getting everyone to wear masks. never anything about improving air quality and filtration in buildings. never anything about sick days or better safety nets that would let people stay home from work.
and to be clear! i'm on my work's health and safety committee! i've advocated for these things! I still wear a mask, because my roommate is immunocompromised and i prefer them alive, but i at least understand that that's purely a matter of protecting ourselves.
This does drive me crazy if I think about it for too long, because during the height of Covid we all became acutely aware that any indoor space is basically a petri dish of disease and allergens, and instead of being like “wow, we should make it so our buildings aren’t petri dishes” we were just like “well, I guess people who don’t want to be sick need to mask up against the petri dish contents”. Clean our fucking air goddamnit!
But yeah the solution to getting sick isn’t going to be individualism, it’s gotta be systemic solutions and it sucks that there’s very little political will for that.
I’m double frustrated by this bc at the peak of covid, my international union was partnering with various agencies who wanted to ovehaul HVAC systems across the country.
Big talks about beefing up outside air intake, increasing air changes per hour, adding ionizers and uv lights to air handler units, embracing new filter technology… ect ect ect

The unfortunate thing about infrastructure changes like that is that they cost a LOT of money, but people can’t visibly see it. Hardly anyone thinks “Oh, I haven’t gotten sick yet this year, I bet it’s the UV system in my kids’ school”. It improves lives, but passes by unnoticed.
