Horrible... Advertised as Silk but arrived as 100% viscose.

Just worked out hat this company has changed their name to Bergwalt Mode. Alpiner Stil web address redirects to this site with the same corporate address but different warehouse address in China.

Requested a refund after the products ordered were too small, damaged and of subpar quality. Had to pay 50€+ to ship it back to China from Germany even though their contact address is in the Netherlands. Still being given the run around by PayPal and them after they even said the products have got back to them. 2 months of back and forth.

I ordered a men's sweater but when it arrived, it was in some random plastic packaging that took forever from China to be delivered. The sweater was then so small it fit my 9 year old son and clearly was incorrect. The company has given me the run around for 2 months now promising a replacement but then not shipping it, not responding, and now they claim they sent the right item but will offer a discount on another item. Save your money and the mental frustration and do not order with this company. The entire thing is a scam.

Don‘t trust this company. They let you think they were European, but in fact they are Chinese. If you want to return your item, you need to either pay transport to China, which is about 30€, or you keep it and get a refund of 25€. Both options suck. I feel betrayed! Well, obviously I am!

Came here to say that you can request refund from Paypal or your credit card company. I got 100% refund. Please raise a dispute.

I just wasted 60 € for what it was supposed to be a cashmere sweater. Absolutely nothing like pictures, no tags with material information, nothing! THIS IS SCAM!!!!!!

Poor quality product. Return policy is cumbersome, almost impossible. AVOID!

You’re buying from what appears to be a German shop, but returns must be sent back to China at your own expense. I’m honestly surprised this is even allowed.

Chinese Company camouflaged as traditional Austrian. Malevolent misleading.
Poor quality and sizing, expensive returns.

Wrong display of product on pictures, actual product looks super cheap, not wearable. It’s basically fraud

Don’t order from this company. Their sizes are smaller than usual, no change allowed. I reordered, that time -wrong colours. Standard answers, some address in China. The quality isn’t great either. Very disappointing
Three months after I wrote the review, they offered me to contact their customer service ( what I did before, four times to be precise). I am speechless

Be careful with this company. They are cheating! You get interior goods and they do not let you exchange! I didn't get my money back! They answer late on your requests, so the time for exchange is quickly over.

Return process unnecessarily complicated

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Alpina-Stil so others can make informed decisions before ordering.

Quality is very bad!!!

The next biggest issue is their return process — it’s extremely tedious and drawn out. Before you’re even allowed to return something, you have to go through a long and exhausting email exchange. There’s no simple return portal, no pre-printed label, nothing automated. If returning the items isn’t your absolute top priority, you’ll likely miss the window or give up halfway through. It’s really discouraging.

This becomes a serious problem when you’re ordering multiple sizes or colors with the intention of returning the ones that don’t fit — which is totally normal when shopping online. But here, doing so becomes a hassle you wouldn’t expect in 2025. It feels like they’re deliberately making returns difficult.

Experiences like this are exactly the reason why people hesitate to shop on new websites or try out unfamiliar brands. As a customer, you should feel safe knowing you can return something easily if it doesn’t work out — not feel like you’ve locked yourself into a final decision the moment you click “buy.”

I’d honestly recommend avoiding Alpina-Stil unless you’re 100% sure you’ll keep what you order. Until they modernize and simplify their return policy, I can’t recommend them. There are plenty of other brands with similar styles and a much more customer-friendly approach.

Selling cheap Chinese clothes for European prices. What gets delivered looks nothing like the pictures. Then they want you to pay to ship it back to China for returns. Dont buy from this company.

Ha ha - then it takes 6 months to respond to a complaint. Again - the scam is that you will need to pay to return the goods to China and they are nothing like the pictures.

Basically this is a scam clothing company with a nice website! They are basically an import hub for cheep Chinese clothing and yes like the other reviewers on here I feel an idiot for not checking on here first before I parted with my money, lesson learnt ! If you wish to return any goods they don’t provide any returns proceedure other than you posting your goods back to China at your own cost ! Please don’t be an idiot like me and others on here and steer well clear of this scam!

I'm warning everyone. Hands off! A dealer in Utrecht orders goods from China without the option to return them if the quality is poor. Even an order can't be cancelled quickly once it's been placed. It violates every EU regulation.
