These radiators look great. Operating them remotely as I need to in my lodge though needs a VERY good WIFI signal apparently. The batteries in all 5 thermostats failed over the winter so you have to... See more

Has Climaster UK gone out of business? I have a problem with one heater which which wouldn't pair with the thermostat. Called a local electrician to check the fuse in the wall socket. It had blown, was replaced, but still couldn't pair. Electrician thought that something had blown in the radiator.
Phoned Climaster several times over 3 days but was immediately transferred to answering machine. My concern is that should I have problem with my 2 other radiators I am left without heating.
In December 2024 I had a new boiler installed. All went well and I was very pleased. Last night something in it failed and we now have no central heating! I have spent the morning leaving messages and phoning on all available numbers. No one is responding. The main name on their website is no longer part of the UK company and I am now at a loss! Their Customer Service response is truly appalling.
I would like to provide some feedback regarding recent experiences with climastar . In the past, this organisation was highly regarded, particularly when Paul, John, Oliver, Laura, and Andrew were part of the team. However, it seems that the standards have declined recently.
I encountered an issue with my financial application where a representative named Sharna was unfortunately disrespectful in her handling of the matter. It raises concerns about how someone in a senior position can display such behavior.
Additionally, the new warehouse manager appears to lack clarity regarding the order processes, which has led to confusion about when orders should be dispatched.
Overall, the service has unfortunately deteriorated, which is quite disappointing given the positive experiences in the past.
These radiators are elegant and stylish and when they work, the consumption is reasonable BUT
the aftersales service is deplorable. I have had the system about 3 years and think I was taken in by good looks and smooth publicity. It is now a month since 2 of my 3 radiators ceased working. The thermostats are just not talking to the radiators no matter how closely I follow the complex instructions. After several frustrating phone calls, I was booked for an engineers' visit a week ago. No one came, they are not answering phone calls or replying to e-mails so I am reliant on old space heaters. At my age (I am closer to 90 than 70!) it is just not good enough. Have they gone bankrupt? I am beginning to wonder. I am considering replacing the system by something installed by a local firm with local agents countrywide. Then a least I shall have a choice of help if anything goes wrong. Don't be taken in by good looks and smooth speech!!
Poor electrical installation of boiler resulted in a house fire. We were without heating and hot water for two days. The company do not reply to letters, emails or phone calls and it cost us £2000 to repair the damage. Avoid at all cost!
Like another reviewer here, the one star is for the sunamp boiler which, after some major teething problems, now runs well together with our solar. Unfortunately, the radiators are a disaster. One of our spurs burned out and, when we got a professional electrician in to sort it, he described the wiring as dangerous and inconsistent with UK regs. Specifically, the radiators weren't earthed and faulty wiring could have turned the radiator live. The heating element was damaged too. He checked all the other radiators and found similar problems (the wiring turned out to be the original problem with the Sunamp too). We have been trying to contact Climastar for ages trying to get the situation resolved, but they never take or return our calls. We wonder if they've gone under. We are forced now to go down a legal route. If anyone else here has had similar problems, please let us know.
Supposed to be installing today no sign of anyone. Nobody answers the phones or responds to emails.
Drove to stoke from Liverpool to find the place closed.
I’m an 83 yr old widow, needed a new electric boiler, bought a Climastar combiboiler, on the promise it would be more economical than the old one. My MONTHLY electric bill is now £500+. I live in a small well insulated bungalow.
I find the operating instructions for the boiler hard to follow, the thermostat does not seem to work, ie will not turn up down or off. Consequently the heating is on 24/7. I have asked for help on 3 occasions, more paper instructions have been sent that make little sense to me as I am not very technically minded. I daresay this is part of the problem.
May I suggest more in-depth paper instructions with plenty of pictures for elderly/lo-tech customers.
Meanwhile I need help.

Why are Climastar not answering phone calls or getting in touch? I have a faulty radiator and they are supposed to be coming out to look at it next week and now I can't get hold of them. Any body help me please
Thermostat broken, doesn’t pair! And no response from Climaster.
The company were helpful in giving a quote. They made an error in their valuation of removal of old heaters which contained asbestos, although we stated this during the survey. They helped to resolve this. One heater has a broken switch after 2 months, and I am unable to get any idea from them about how long they will take to sort it. So far waiting 2 weeks, and now no one is answering their call lines. I have emailed and left messages - this is very poor service for a system still under warranty.
Would give 0 if possible. We ordered some radiators with instalation on 14th January 2026.Unfortunatley we had to cancelled the next morning due to a medical emergency which has become very serious.
We have emailed over 6 times ,not one reply .
The couple of times I have spoke to the lady at climastar she has fobbed me off with their in meetings. Now all their telephone have been put on an answering machine system. No one answers the messages either.
David Thomas who took pleasure in telling us he is now The Boss,is not answering his phone and has put it on answering machine .
Please ,please people think twice before entering into anything with this company .They have left us shattered. My health is deteriorating and they do not have the decency to even answer. I am surprised there are so many positive reviews to be honest.Feel free to answer climastar.
Workmen, Punctual ,very tidy, explained operation of thermostat, The radiators ,unique design highly efficient radiators once up to the set temperature uses very little energy to keep it there . This our sixth radiator ( expensive but we think worth the money )
In early April 2024, Climastar fitted an inverter and batteries for me - a very slick sales process. The installation process seemed rushed with little care being taken. As examples:
a) large holes in the outside wall for the wires to go through (as expected), but all the brick dust left where it fell and no attempt made to use foam or whatever to fill the gaps around the wires - so plenty of space for cold air/mice to get in.
b) an engineer from my electricity supply company later found that one of the wires in the Henley blocks fitted by Climastar had not been screwed in properly and could simply be pulled out (a fire risk, as he said).
Having said that, the system has worked well and allowed me to take advantage of lots of cheap-rate electricity.
A couple of weeks ago, one of the batteries failed. My expectation was that I would receive support from the supplier. I was very wrong!
1) An email to Climastar asking for help - completely ignored.
2) A message sent via their website - an automated response, but nothing else.
3) A very curt "is someone actually going to answer me" email resulted in a voicemail - "It's xxx [redacted] from Climastar the electric heating company, we do the heating. If you need anything give me a call back". Bear in mind that the website message I said explained exactly what I needed, I was not looking for what was sounding very much like a sales call.
4) I wasn't able to call back, so sent a mail to xxx explaining what I needed. Once again - ignored.
Fortunately the battery supplier (who I spoke to today) has been far more helpful and is coming out to investigate the issue. They also mentioned that they will do a health inspection of the whole system - I wonder what that will say. That took one phone call to get sorted - a very different experience.
So, as others on here have said - good product, good sales process, but once Climastar has your money, you might as well not exist.

Update following PureDrive's visit
---------------------------------------
The battery with the issue had completely discharged and had to be replaced. One of the other batteries was almost in the same state, but recovered. The issue was caused by the original installer (ie Climastar's electrician) using incorrect communication cables to link the batteries, leading to the batteries very slowly becoming more and more discharged.
I also contacted Climastar in Spain (the parent company) to try and get a response from Climastar UK. It was interesting to see that the Spanish directors are seemingly no longer involved with the UK company. They gave me an email address for the UK director. I have sent him two emails and have two read receipts, but no response. So, it's not just the customer service people who ignore emails, it is also the director!
The installers arrived 3 hours late, fitted two radiators and a Sunamp Thermino, worked into the evening and were keen to get away, which perhaps explains why the shower was not checked; they took away the pump and we were left with feeble output, now down to a trickle. My poor wife has been getting the runaround for weeks trying to get it fixed.
The Wi-Fi for the radiators is u/s, a known fault. We can live with that, but it’s been an awful long time without a shower!
Installer arrived on time, finished neatly, and explained controls clearly all.
Unfortunately it doesn’t allow you to put a 0 stars.
They don’t ring back , they ignore emails and are full of excuses.
Not had the dog ate my homework one yet though!
What they are good at is taking your deposit and giving you a 4 to 6 week lead time and not contacting you back to book in the work.
They’ve had my money for 14 weeks , I’ve been waiting 4 weeks for refund from cancellation from the lack of communication/progress. I’ve still not had my deposit refunded! Absolutely disgusting! First ‘we’ll look into it’ next ‘it should be sorted in 5-7 days’ (those 5-7 days come and go and still nothing) next ‘online banking is down’ next ‘financial director is looking into it’ next ‘company director is now involved’ next ‘we’ll ring back tomorrow with an update’…nothing!
Currently in contact with trading standards ,which may take a while as Christmas holidays and then I’m going legal.
Merry Christmas. HAS THIS COMPANY GONE BUST ,STILL NOT ANSWERING CALLS , AND LOOKS LIKE SAME FOR OTHER CUSTOMERS
UPDATE!!! Still haven’t had my money refunded , same problems ,Don’t return calls different excuses .
Excellent from start to finish low cost radiators nathan went above and beyond to make the experience a good one and many thanks to dave.
Communication and service are absolutely deplorable. Avoid this company. We have been trying to receive a refund for an order placed in Sept (and we are now in December) that they failed to deliver on. The company are ignoring our emails and phonecalls. We will now be seeking legal advice.
Ben from Climastar has been in touch today (08th Dec) and is investigating our complaint. Nice to speak to someone who looks to be actively seeking a resolution. Will update once this is resolved. Thankyou so far for your assistance Ben.
Update, we are now 02nd Jan 2026 and the issue is STILL not resolved. We are still waiting for a refund. We have been passed from pillar to post with the promise of returned phonecalls that have not happened. Legal appointment made for Wednesday as we are now taking this further..I have never experienced a company who take 3.5 months to issue a refund! Absolutely disgusting!
Update 08th Feb,,still no refund, still getting fobbed off by everyone, Trading Standards are now involved and we have started the process with Small Claims Court. Not answering any calls or emails. Are these guys still trading???
Another update..
Apparently they have gone bust or going into liquidation. Interestingly the director of Climastar (appointed on 10 dec 2025) David Anthony Thomas has just been made a director as of 27 Jan 2026 of yet another company called Pure Home Improvements LTD based on the same trading estate as Climastar,,gonna start spamming/calling them from tomorrow to see if we can get some answers! Absolutely disgusting service from Climastar.
