Unacceptable customer service
Good afternoon. I am writing from Spain as a paying customer extremely dissatisfied. Two days ago I paid €108 for an international shipment to the USA and after 48 hours nobody has collected the parcel. Yesterday I received an email claiming a collection attempt was made — this is false.
I also wish to protest the growing corporate trend of automated menus and circular forms that prevent real complaints and lead customers into dead ends.
I must also add my complaint regarding what I perceive as “overseas call centers attended by Spanish-American agents who do not properly master the language, which gives a very poor company image,” not to mention the half-hour waiting time on the phone.
Third world service.

THE WORST courier I've ever worked with. They always say that they couldn't deliver the package to my home, even though I had planned my schedule around their delivery notification and stayed at home on purpose.
Not only they fail to deliver for no valid reason, when you contact customer support it's an absolute nightmare.
They tell you to call another number, and then another number, and then after multiple attempts, and days of calling and trying again, if you're lucky you might get things sorted.
In addition, they kept sending me letters for packages that I had already paid for. I had to go to the merchant three times, and we had to call them, stay both on the phone to explain that they're sending incorrect letters and charges. After 3 days, I finally got an email that the issue has been resolved.
What an absolute FAILURE of a courier.
They claimed my correct address was "wrong" and put my package in lost and found in Germany - on the website, they refuse to accept Spanish phone numbers or addresses but claim they deliver to Spain?
My order was made in early November of 2025. According to UPS, I gave them the wrong address and had to log into their site and "correct/update" it.
I was not mistaken and had my address correct, I know where I love and have been writing my address for years.
But whatever - I logged into the Spanish version of the website and it would not allow me to select an address in Spain... Only America. I had planned just to put the same address in again. When I tried to contact them, I tried to give my phone number, but of course they only accepted American phone numbers.
So I contacted my seller who contacted UPS and told them the issue. After 2 weeks, the package was still at the sorting facility while claiming I had my address wrong. I managed to contact UPS this time using AI to find a support email and was told the address would be updated. It was not.
The seller contacted them again and was told it would be updated... It was not.
Now my package is in Germany in the lost and found. I am not even getting replies to two separate emails I wrote. Thankfully the seller has refunded me for the product I was supposed to get, but this still does not solve the issue and completely unfair on the seller.
Why does UPS Spain not accept Spanish addresses or Spanish phone numbers? Why is a package that is destined for somewhere in Spain sent to a lost and found in Germany? Why do I not get a simple reply anymore via email?
If I could give them less than one star, I would. Never use UPS. You cannot call yourself a delivery service if you can't deliver packages.

UPS HAS TO BE WORST PARCEL SERVICE EVER.. .DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE IF POSSIBLE. I waited for a delivery for 2 months from China . I signed up for text messages and email messages . I received none. I also gave a neighbours phone number incase I wasn't at home. The said that the address was wrong. Then they said that the delivery was refused. ( this is not true). My guess is the driver couldn't find the address and marked it like that for convenience. I tried contacting their customer service they were as good as useless. The package has now been returned to China automatically because they said it was refused I reiterate , it wasn't) . When the sender receives it I will have to pay an extra €38.00 to have it resent. I would never, ever recommend UPS to anyone ever again.

I am waiting now 8 weeks to receive my package, it not possible to receive any usefull information from UPS, Tracking shows the parcel was scheduled to arrive on December 15th. Communication via emial and phone useless no answers.

Hard to even offer one star. We both send and receive a lot of packages and tell all vendors NOT to use this company. they cannot deliver, cannot handle anything shipped internationally, charge extraneous fees and blame government authorities without supplying any back-up as to the nature of the fees, no help from customer service. I could go on. Terrible

Terrible customer service. Terrible communication. Terrible everything!!! They handled my deceased mother's things horribly and broke almost everything sent from the USA. Some of this stuff has been in my family for DECADES.
To add insult to injury, they claimed that I somehow rejected a box THAT I PAID AN EXTREME AMOUNT OF MONEY TO HAVE SENT TO ME, claimed they called me and didn't and SENT PART OF MY SHIPMENT BACK!!!!! I couldn't even stop them with the paperwork I'd sent them nearly a month prior.
Disgusting. Will never use their services again which is truly sad as the first time we used UPS international it was flawless. This time around? An absolute nightmare. Thanks for nothing!!!!!!

possibly the worst delivery company in the world. One of the questions I will ask any organisation in future is if they use UPS, then I will not purchase with them.
changing delivery is not possible until after you missed your package at that point you dont know if you will get the package or not. zero chat support, they force you to call, then you speak with someone in India who barely speaks English, who provide you with useless and irrelevant information after wasting your time for 10 minutes.
You would have thought in 2025, there would be more automated processes and systems, but it seems like UPS are stuck in 2005. Shocking company.
A Masterclass in Incompetence and Failed Logistics
I am beyond frustrated with the absolute lack of professionalism and basic competence shown by UPS Madrid regarding my shipment from the USA.
I was expecting an important envelope, and not only did they fail to deliver it, but they also made zero effort to contact me. I received no phone calls, no emails, and no delivery attempts were ever physically visible at my address.
Instead of reaching out to resolve any potential delivery issues, they unilaterally decided to return the package to the sender. This has caused me significant financial and personal prejudice, as the contents were time-sensitive.
It is unacceptable for a global logistics company to have such poor communication standards. If you value your time and your money, avoid UPS at all costs. They are unreliable and clearly do not care about their customers' needs.

They said they came by and nobody was home (we were home and have a door cctv camera connected to our mobilhome as proof) and then the said it was delivered but to somebody we do not know or even does not exist.
After writing to the virtual assistant, they said the drivers just put in a virtual name if nobody is there to sign off the delivery ???? And they do not know where the package is .

You never receive a home delivery
You never receive a home delivery. They are always lying that they've tried to pass through and then bring it to a random spot far from your home. It would be fine to remove the option for home delivery and give you at least a normal choice of a convenient location to pick up.
