Urgent refund request

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an order placed on 12 October, for which delivery was initially scheduled within 2 to 3 weeks.

The product was only delivered on 29 December and, in addition to the significant delay, it was incomplete, with 4 essential parts missing, making it impossible to assemble. I contacted your company on 5 January to report and resolve this issue.

After numerous phone calls and messages, I was informed that the estimated delivery time for the missing parts would be approximately 7 weeks, which I considered unacceptable. Consequently, I requested the collection of the product and a full refund.

The product was collected on 26 January. However, as of today, 3 February, I have still not received the refund, despite several attempts to contact your company. Furthermore, more recently, my calls have no longer been answered.

In accordance with the applicable consumer protection legislation, I hereby request the immediate refund of the full amount paid, within a maximum period of 5 working days from receipt of this email. Should this not be completed within that timeframe, I will proceed with a formal complaint through the appropriate consumer protection authorities.

I look forward to your urgent response.

We would like to confirm that your refund has already been processed. The refunded amount should appear in your bank account within the next few days.

Please note that our refund procedure is as follows: once the product is collected, the carrier confirms the pickup, after which the case is forwarded to our accounting department, who then process the refund. In accordance with legal requirements, this process may take between 7 and 14 days from the date of collection.

MSpa OSLO - Delivered by Connect by XPO Logistics

Connect by XPO Logistics delivered our MSpa OSLO hot tub 23/12/25. Opened boxes day after Christmas. Heaviest box contains spa sidewalls which were broken at one end, obviously from dropping box on its end (cardboard box damaged internally). Impossible to assemble so unit is useless.

MSpa (China) tells me to contact retailer (Vente-unique. pt) for assistance.

Vente-unique. pt website won't allow me to log a complaint! Says I have logged an issue already. That was due to a two week delivery delay that Vente-unique. pt has never responded. That was three weeks ago now!

Not willing to make things right.

They ask me to call and work something out. However they were unwilling to correct their mistake. I even wanted to pay for the couch I needed, just not another bed as well.

Vente-unique is not trustworthy. We have no interest in buying anything else from them.
Our experience at Vente-unique was dismal. The Murphy Bed we bought took us over 9 continuous hours to put together. The wood was very poor quality. I have extensive experience with wood working and putting things together from that Swedish company I shouldn't name. The order they placed for me on the phone was not what I chose. The bed they delivered was not even the one that was ordered for me.
Here is what I didn't want but was ordered for me – Order : PT2511130042 dated 11/13/2025 it is no longer listed on the web site. That is very suspicious. They will replace it if I take it apart... Boxes are gone, 9 hours to assemble the first one, 9 hours for the replacement, and all the nearly 1000 parts? I am old. I can't face this again.
This is what I ask for on the phone with the sale's person-- Folding bed 140 x 200 cm - Manual vertical opening - With LEDs - Beige + Sofa – RAPILI Ref. 4407265
If they would allow us to buy the sofa we want without the bed and no exchanges, just let us buy the sofa, we would be very happy and give them all the stars and a review to match.
Brick and mortar stores from now on.

I am truly sorry for the situation you are experiencing, and I sincerely regret the frustration this has caused you. As I explained to you over the phone, the bed you received is sold exactly as it is, and it is not possible to separate it from the sofa or sell the sofa on its own. This is not a matter of preference on our side; if there were any way to do so, I would be more than happy to offer that solution, but the manufacturer does not allow any alternative configuration.

I fully understand the effort required to assemble this type of furniture and how difficult it is to disassemble it again, especially without the original packaging and with so many parts. Please believe me when I say I would like to offer you another option, but in this case we are bound by the manufacturer’s specifications and the limitations of the product.

Nevertheless, I remain at your disposal for any other questions or for anything we may still assist you with.

I have been completely let down by Vente Unique.
I ordered two matching kitchen cabinets, which they ordered from Vida XL.
But only one arrived.
After a few days, I chased up the second cabinet with customer service. I was told that the second cabinet was not available at that time and so I had been refunded for one.
I explained that was no good as I wanted 2 matching cabinets.
I sent an enquiry, asking if one might be avaliable soon.
I was told that this was not possible.
So I asked how to return the single cupboard.
I have been informed that the option to return only lasts 14 days and that had expired. That 14 days was spent waiting for the 2nd cabinet to arrive and then making enquiries.
The suggestion to keep one is completely useless, as I need 2 matching cabinets for my kitchen.
If this is not resolved, I will need to buy 2 more cabinets from another supplier and I will have wasted the money for an unwanted cabinet.

Poor quality & customer service

Once assembled the bed was completely unstable and centre columns looked as if they would snap at any moment. I requested a refund and customer service stalled for weeks and still have not got back to me. Very disappointed!

Scam sellers

Made an order on the 22.05 and still did not receive my order or actual solution despite multiple contact with the customer service. Completely unreliable and no real response from any human being, just automated message.
I want my money back!

Amazing product

Amazing product! Exactly like in the pictures! At first I thought the assemble would be hard, but it very easy, though there are some pieces that are not clear about the use.

Misleading

Ordered direct trusting that the specified delivery time of 10 working days would be the fastest possible. After placing the order, the estimated delivery time changed to 3 weeks meaning it won’t arrive in time for the plumber coming to fit my bathroom. Really disappointed, could have ordered via Worten with delivery in 5 days from the same seller. Tried contacting repeatedly by WhatsApp but they haven’t bothered to reply.

Update: received a call to explain the difference in delivery time. Will update the review when the bath arrives.

Update 2: rather than delete this review, I thought instead I’d update it to show how this company respond to issues. Very quickly after posting the original review, I received a call explaining that the delivery time was wrong on their website and that they were sorry about that. It was only going to be 2-3 working days longer than the date stated but it’s important that customers are able to rely on the times quoted for things like bath tubs where you may have a plumber booked for a specific date. After speaking to the company, they promised to get the bath tub to me as soon as possible but they could not guarantee it would be the original date stated. I’m happy to say that the bathtub arrived at exactly the time given as an estimate and on the date my plumber was booked to install it. Score updated to 4/5 stars - an example of how well Trustpilot can work to improve customer service!
