They mislead customers on delivery times. They claim to have items in stock, when in reality they order from their suppliers after the purchase is made. Their estimated delivery was 17 September and they hadn't even received it themselves by that date. It is now the 26th of September and my order is not even close. I would never have made the order if I knew it was going to take this long.
I'm sure I'm about to get a silly automated message saying delivery time is just an estimate or we can choose the delivery provider. They will not admit the only way they get orders is because they lie about how long it will take. If they were honest, nobody would buy from them. I've noticed all the reviews on this site say the same thing.

I wish I could share screenshots here. If I go to order another one if the same item, it says "in stock" receive 10-13 October, 8-11 days from now. This is what I saw when I made my order. But you guys mislead me, it wasn't in stock. It was 11 days before you even received it from your supplier. I made the order on September 6th and it is now October 2nd and according to tracking it isn't even in my country yet. It will be well over a month in total by the time I receive it if I ever do. Your support staff just act like this is normal. Nothing takes a month to deliver in 2025.
Update 2: It has been 45 days, still no delivery, all they have said is "Please, kindly wait until the tracking is updated"

My package is now almost 3 weeks overdue and Waveinn are doing nothing except fobbing me off. Tracking info from GLS has not been updated in 10 days.

I brought a Penn Africa rod from waveinn, i was surprised when the rod turned up in a flimsy carboard box, it was no surprise when i carefully unpacked the rod and found the liner of the largest guide shattered.
Then the problems really started, i tried to get in touch via waveinn but all i got was an automated system asking me to use the "My Account" and raise a claim. i have raised two tickets through "My Account" but still no contact from Waveinn.
i tried using the chat bot numerous times, i was told by "Hazel" i would recieve a email when the chat window closed, when the email arrived it guided me to the "my Account" section again and asked me to up load the photos i had previously done twice.
i have now requested a refund and brought the rod from a UK outlet.
Never have i encountered such a shambolic contact system as this and such poor packaging on a fragile item.
I will never shop with Waveinn again

Claimed one of two items ordered was out of stock and automated email said to delete the item from the order, or select another item. I attempted to do both. No delete button, and no way to select an acceptable alternative item. Messaged "customer service" a dozen times being told the same thing, then that it was too late to change an item, then received another email directing me to change the item or cancel the backordered item. Still not possible to do either. Requested cancellation (pending response again) and will file claim with credit card company if not resolved. This company is a mess and their customer service is incompetent.

I bought a fishing reel on Waveinn that had only positive reviews – but in reality it turned out to be poor quality. Go to the trash after 6 days of fishing, and the costs of sending it back for a claim almost equal its value

When I tried to publish my own honest review, it was rejected and never appeared online. This shows that Waveinn/Tradeinn filters out negative feedback, creating a misleading picture for customers.
The company replied with a generic “please provide your order number” message, but completely ignored my main point – the lack of transparency and the blocking of critical reviews.

This is a difficult one … the item was new, in excellent condition and a good price …. However it wasn’t clear that the item was coming from Spain and the Royal Mail 48 hour delivery was a joke …. It took two weeks to arrive and as such the boat was unusable for this period …. not going to order from them again!

This is second time when I bought from Waveinn on-line and I was deceived. When I did place an order on Waveinn page rod was in stock, I was happy. After few days received letter from customer service (we are waiting when item arrive in our warehouse, but we do not know when). Completely discussing company. I lost my passion and canceled my order. Do not trust this company. My opinion their laundering money.

Its already 23 days gone by on a 3-5day delivery that yous claimed on purchase date
It is now the 14th sept and still not received, so looks like the date gonna be extended again. This is now 21 days for a 3-5 day delivery that they stated on purchase and its still shown they havent got it yet themselfs
Ordered a fishing rod on the 24th august showing in stock, est delivery 28th Aug to 1st set, it changed to the 2nd sept to 7th sept and its changed again to 8thsept to 14th sept lol its aswell I ended up buying a 2nd hand one on marketplace or id be the only one showing up on our trip with no rod.
Don't advertise as in stock when after purchase yous try to source it else where

1 Star doesn’t even do it justice, my delivery was late never showed up it said they had delivered it there was no information other than that I said I hadn’t received it and they said our 7 days ago claim period has expired so we won’t help you and now I’m still waiting for my item to be delivered and not expecting it to arrive
