Email received giving me a few days’ notice for the intended delivery.
The day before, I was given a 4-hour time slot.
Husband booked his remaining 2 days to take the order and then build the pergola.
At 9.30am (for the promised 10am-2pm delivery slot), I received an email advising that the truck had been over-committed load-wise.
I was told over the phone that they allocate loads based on cubage. All well and good if every item is square, but not always the case. As in this delivery.
After initially being told it would be delivered the following Thursday (1 week later), I was then told it would be the Monday. When my husband wouldn’t be around to take delivery, having lost his remaining holiday allocation.
Blue Diamond did their best but Tuffnells used the old line of ‘unforeseen circumstances such as breakdown and sickness’. Since this was due to poor process resulting in a load too big for the truck, I fail to understand where truck breakdown or staff illness came into it.
Given the choice, I would not buy through any company that uses Tuffnells for delivery.

The owner of this company, Jacob Corlett, owns many other companies, such as comparethemanandvan.co.uk, which was later renamed Shift. He has not paid the drivers for three months of work, and it has now been over five months since we were last paid. Each of us is owed more than £7,000, which has left us unable to provide for our children and families. This situation is severely impacting the welfare and health of our families, as we are struggling without money or food. The government should take immediate action to help us. The problems caused by this man are immense—I've been unable to insure my van, get an MOT, pay for other insurances, provide food for my children, pay rent, cover helpers' wages, or pay taxes. Now, without any savings or money, I don't know what to do next. This is a basic human rights issue that affects people worldwide.

Ordered 2 cut to size pieces on Sunday from wood sheets.com after midnight, paid £29 postage to expedite as I needed it urgently for the Friday and the estimate on the expensive postage said Wednesday/thursday. Found it immediately cheaper elsewhere which we could collect locally and tried to cancel the order 14 minutes after order (00:19am). Was emailed the following day to say they couldn’t refund the order or cancel it as it was cut to measure..(!) despite it being cancelled 14minutes after order at just past midnight.. so I accepted that it couldn’t be cancelled and just went with it. Come Thursday it still hadn’t arrived. I called the company on Wednesday evening to be told it would be dispatched that evening, so when it didn’t arrive Thursday I called back to be told it was in quality control and wouldn’t be delivered, and they couldn’t tell me when. When I said that I had paid extra to have it delivered within the week they advised me of their t&cs which I signed when ordering ‘they have up to 30 days to send the order, despite what postage you pay’ so it’s pretty pointless having the expensive option to courier. Eventually turned up later than I needed so we refused delivery. The guy who tried to deliver from ‘Tufnells’ took it away without any issues. Come the following week I recieved notification that it was delivered! The photo was shown which was taken at the time of refusing delivery!! So I am now over £250 out of pocket without a delivery and this joke of a company and Tuffnells both refuse to answer any emails from me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
The delivery driver only delivered…
The delivery driver only delivered 2/3rds of a complete decking kit. I have been paying two men to stand around and wait for the rest of the decking boards because they have been promised on two different days. The last straw was today when I phoned "edecks" to find out what was happening they promised you would deliver today it is now 10pm and still no decking boards.

Only contact I have had is an email giving a delivery time from 9am Thursday morning until 1900 Friday evening! This is an absolute joke I have sat in the house for 2 days waiting for delivery of my purchase.

Ordered a table from Debenhams online. Got an email to stating my parcel was on its way from MH Star. It was shipped Standard UK delivery. In the meantime I got an email addressed from Shift but on opening all the details which were Tuffnells order number JCmTLUpShhFGM7Rr it stated earliest delivery 09.00 30/4, latest delivery 1/5 at 19.00, This time passed and despite sending emails to all parties I have had no communication from anyone.

Shocking service. They apparently lost my items for 10 days (according to the company I bought them from) then sent me a delivery confirmation when nothing was delivered (and 3 days after I cancelled the order). The original order was from MHSTAR- terrible company as well!

Absolutely shocking service! How this company is still going baffles me!! Delivery should have been a week ago, NO updates at all since then and it’s impossible to speak to anyone or even email them (email won’t work!) so now I’m just left guessing if the delivery will even turn up or not! Fragile handle with care
I have had several deliveries from this company and they have all been damaged .
The company I bought goods from wrapped the last order in bubble wrap and taped it up with “fragile handle with care “ tape.
These were more damaged than the previous deliveries. Now I’m stuck with loads of broken goods .
If you are reading this to have goods delivered, I would seriously consider looking elsewhere as this company has no respect for anything they handle.

When your worse than a certain "other company" for delivery it's time to pack in.
I have been given a 2 day window for delivery. Not am/pm on...... Not within a reasonable set time on.... But anytime within Mon 9am - Tues 9pm. Do these planks think you can sit around for that length of time and that is acceptable? Get yourselves together and given an acceptable service!
