SO glad I have left them

SO glad I have left them. Terrible customer service. E.g. the online chat when you want to actually contact a human being. Always times out and they state I did not respond!! Charged me for a whole month even though I ported out the day after, no sense of doing the right thing. Often got no signal as well.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Between dpd and playstation.com they are a mickey mouse service. Ordered an item and got a text on 17th December stating the driver was delayed. Then NOTHING. Contacted them today and there was a "security incident". I interpret that to mean my item was stolen but they won't answer. Nor will they answer why comms stopped after the last text. Terrible customer service, avoiding responsibility. YOU are the courier but can't tell me where my parcel is??????

What a waste of space these people are

What a waste of space these people are. All I got was a text from dpd saying the driver was delayed on 17th Dec then nothing. Went to support who said I had to wait 2 days. NOTHING. Went back to support who fobbed me off with an open ended statement with no dates to come back to me. No update about dpd. I asked to escalate and was ignored. TOTALLY useless company. How long does it take to contact a courier????

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. Generally ok but if you have an issue it's painful. I have one mobile number which I cannot send texts to but all others work. It is very difficult to contact anyone, just try it on their website. The AI chatbox is useless. When I did finally manage it, I gave up after explaining my situation multiple times. Either their command of English is terrible or they just can't answer. It's a simple concept, one number cannot receive texts from me. Why they cannot have a simple form to fill out I have no idea but then they probably wouldn't understand anyway...

Easy to order via the website, I just wish vat and delivery were included as you select products; the total is always a lot more than the basic price shown. Other than that, good comms and speedy delivery.

All ok if everything works BUT try…

All ok if everything works BUT try contacting them... Click on the email link below customer service and it takes you to a support website which sends you in circles. Chat is poor only allowing a message to be left, no live chat. I have been on the phone in a queue for ages now. Who on earth has a website where you can't simply email them and has a link to somewhere else????

Good price and willing to adjust it if…

Good price and willing to adjust it if cheaper elsewhere. Service is good once you get through BUT 1. Too many options to get to speak to someone 2. Before this it asks you for details to find your policy and then the person asks you again!! 3. Chat does not work 4. Online renewals said it could not find my policy even though when I called it did find it! 5. Staff waffle - when I asked why I had these issues the answer was I'm not sure. That implies you know of a number of reasons but can't pinpoint it. The person should be truthful and say no idea but will ask technical support.
Update: customer service called and were very responsive. Hopefully it will get sorted.

An incredibly rude member of staff in…

An incredibly rude member of staff in my local shop, witnessed by the manager, who did nothing. I was served by the manager who was ok but when I tried to pay, the scanner for gift cards failed. The other rude member of staff already knew the scanner was not working yet let me queue up. She then had the audacity to interrupt the manager trying to server me and was oblivious to this. She then made snide remarks as I left the store. I contacted Iceland twice who have not responded. If you want decent customer service look elsewhere.

Mickey Mouse company with no interest…

Mickey Mouse company with no interest in customers. If I could give zero stars I would. My item arrived with a cracked screen. Sent a photo. Bottom line is they only offer a few pounds off and refuse to pay for a return or send a replacement. Shop elsewhere.

Not enough staff and the ones there…

Not enough staff and the ones there can't be bothered to listen to customers. There's often only 1 member of staff on a manned till and no-one for the self service. Inevitably it means both manned and self service customers get poor service. If there's a self service issue you have to wait for the staff member to finish a transaction and equally, while the issue is then fixed, the queue builds for manned tills. When I asked why there are not more staff the person did not listen and just gave a stock answer. Proactive should be the way, along the lines of feeding back to managers and HO.

My order got lost by the courier and no-one proactively checked. It was only me asking that got it resolved. My order was sent in a box way too large so not eco friendly. I asked why and was ignored.

Good value but needs tweaks

Generally offers good value. However 1) digital receipts only seem to work in my home store 2) you cannot use a free bakery coupon with another bakery offer. Head Office refused to consider changing this. Can't see why I can't buy 3 items for £1.50 AND have a free item. Not listening to customers it seems. 3) Items go out of stock and no-one in the stores seems to have any info when more stock is due. 4) Tiny weight discrepancies at self scan checkouts cause an alert, needs a higher tolerance.

Too many empty promises

Too many empty promises. The surveyor turned up late and did a poor survey. We had to have less panels and the scaffolders had to return to add extra poles; when extending the poles they just broke several pots in our garden and didn't even tell us; they said they would sort it out but I am still waiting. I have called Solaris multiple times but no-one actually does anything to fix this. The first electrician did what he wanted not what we wanted. The saving grace was Mike, the senior electrician, who was brilliant and sorted out our issues. I felt I had to write this review as I am fed up emailing and calling Solaris.

Update 18th April - finally got compensated for the broken pots!! There must be a joke about how many phonecalls and emails it takes.....

Disappointing customer service

The shops are ok but queues are often long such as the self service - I rarely find all tills working. I bought compostible caddy bags and the whole roll was faulty. I contacted customer services as the cost of fuel and parking to go back was several times their worth. In addition why would I spend ages looking for a receipt for a cheap item. You would think they would give me a credit but no, they insist I return to the store. Another case of not listening to customers. Tesco send an e gift for faulty items without quibble.

Good products but no responsibility for old pods

The website is a bit clumsy and not that easy to navigate, e.g. if you want a repeat order. The products are good value if you buy in bulk. My problem is the podback bags. Tassimo won't take the initiative and ensure bags are supplied. I called Tassimo and they just repeat themselves that they won't do ANYTHING. I can just wait or try to re-order. A responsible company would say they will contact podback and call customers back with delivery dates. So they are happy to sell me pods but clearly could not care about the recycling part.
