Very poor quality Microwave
Wish I’d checked here before I purchased a Sharp Microwave in DID Electrical, where I was assured it was a good brand.
I’ve had microwaves for 30 years - this is without doubt the worst quality appliance I’ve ever owned.
The plastic covering on the buttons is peeling off and it retains bad smells like no other - feels like I’m cleaning it constantly. It does not get heavy use but at just over 1 year old I am having to replace it.
Avoid!

Customer comes last
I was a huge advocate of this site and had ordered from it many times. Today, sadly, that changed. I ordered an item for a Christmas present on 15.11.24. Firstly it was delayed but I believed I still had it in good time for Christmas, so that was ok...until I decided to open it and check (which I wouldn't always do!). I was sent the wrong item. That's when the company showed its true colours - a continuous back and forward of "company policy says 'no'" in live chat. In essence, I had to organise to return the wrong item and order another correct item myself on the site, but they wouldn't process the refund until the item was received and then it would be up to 10 days before I would receive the money in my account. And no guarantee I would have the newly ordered item for Christmas. I'd expect that from the likes of the large, volume-churning cheap quality retail sites - and that's why I don't shop on them - sadly it seems Wolf & Badger are no different...
The brand was StudioCult, in case anyone is interested.

Appalling customer service
Sports Direct website allocated the wrong address to my eircode. I notified them as soon as the order notification came through.
They didn’t accept any responsibility for their error and refused to correct the address. It was up to me to go to the other random address to recover my parcel.
No assistance, no apology, no offer of credit or replacement, and then they just closed the ticket.
I went to the other address to discover that the parcel had been given to charity as the owner had found it impossible to contact Sports Direct to try and return or redirect the parcel.
I could understand that as it is extremely difficult to get help from Sports Direct - the only route to their ‘customer service’ is via bots, fixed questions and categories of queries - always a clear indication of a company who is happy to deter customers contacting them by frustrating them rather than paying proper staff and provide a decent customer service.
To make matters worse, I was sent an email today from them saying:
We'd love to hear your feedback on your latest purchase while it's fresh in your mind - don't be shy, your comments help us improve!
I submitted a review and it was refused by the moderators!
Disgusting company, IMHO.

It’s clear from SportsDirect response below that they didn’t even read my post correctly. It was not an old address that they delivered to but an incorrect one. Their website allocated the wrong address to my eircode.
And despite alleging that they would email me - maybe to resolve the issue they caused? - I have received no email.
If I could give them a minus star rating I would!

Couldn’t care less about customer issues
ApplePay top up was blocked for no reason when I needed to do an urgent payment to my daughter. I got no explanation despite hours wasted on their customer support chat. I was told to try again in a few days!
Then an ‘easy transfer’ - their own process - of €300 from my bank account, failed to show up in my Revolut account. Despite providing evidence of the transfer from my bank they said they had no trace of it.
Yet more hours being given the run around on the customer online chat and €300 missing.
I was a huge advocate, but now it seems to me they are no better than the banks…arrogant, disinterested, broken.
Update to my review following Revolut reply:
Yet more evidence from Revolut that they couldn’t care less about customer issues - they didn’t even read my review properly!
If they had, they would have seen that I said that I had provided ALL of the evidence that a transaction took place from the sending bank to Revolut.
Feels like they are implying that I am telling lies.
I believe I also clearly stated that I spent HOURS on their online customer service ‘chat’, yet this is what they are telling me that I need to do..
Feels like extreme gaslighting now!
My bank has provided evidence that a large sum of money (to me!) was transferred to Revolut but it has failed to appear in my account. Rather than reach out to help to resolve my valid and upsetting complaint, Revolut write a long rambling responses that fudges the issue by quoting reams of their t&cs.
@TrustPilot shouldn't allow this David and Goliath type of behaviour

Bought large dog car cover
Update, following Petstop reply:
This product is faulty and needs to be removed from your shelves.
After 2 days in place, I noticed that one of the metal poles had snapped and broken through the fabric. The sharp metal could have taken the dogs eye out or done other damage.
I contacted your customer service about instructions and was told:
“The supplier doesn't send any instructions however I did look at this set up myself this week. The best advice is to try measure up the poles before inserting into the cover.“
Bought Trixie large dog car cover, no instructions included so like a jigsaw putting 3 different sized poles together and inserting into a variety of open hems in the cover. The poles didn’t fit together particularly well or into the cover particularly easily. Shabby and cheap, in my opinion.
