The D1000 range of locks are great. A real deterrent to thieves and the only ones that thieves won't even attempt to have a go at. So What really irks me is when Hiplok have a sale as they did on black friday, they exclude their best locks, their D1000 range, from any discount! A real daft marketing concept.
Review of Ring
Been a ring customer and subscriber for several years. Beware that Ring remotely switch off certain functions to make you buy another unit.
First my Ring doorbell stops sending low battery notifications. Then after being hard wired the battery stopped charging. Replaced the charger and still not charging despite outputting 24v. I am one of thousands who've experienced these issues. Avoid Ring and choose Eufy instead.

Since operations were switched from the dependable Lloyds pharmacy to P4U the service has been unreliable. I cannot recommend this firm unless you've managed to build up a stash of your important meds and you genuinely enjoy the suspense of wondering whether you're going to receive an email reminder for reordering.

Review of John Ryan by Design Ltd
Purchased the Artisan Tailored Pocket 2000 king size Mattress in September 2020. Although it was extremely comfortable at first, just over 4 years of use I noticed it had dipped heavily on 1 side despite being turned and rotated at the recommended intervals. We purchased the correct mattress which exceeded our weight criteria (we're both under 75kgs). Extremely disappointed with the mattress, especially so considering the price point.
I suppose we were taken in by the website declaring how superior the mattresses are.
I can't be bothered attempting to make a claim under the warranty as I genuinely would not want to put my back through pain again. Thankfully it's being disposed of in the coming days.

I deliberately decided against reaching out to you. Reason being, aside from wanting to avoid a long drawn out saga, the best outcome that could possibly be achieved would be another one of your products. Something I could never contemplate again.

Review of Spigen
Spigen phone cases are generally good with one exception. The arm that folds out so you can keep the phone upright in landscape mode always without fail breaks off after a few uses. Spigen have known about this since at least the first time I returned a case to them in 2017. So in 8 years they couldn't be bothered to improve the design. I will buy a different brand from now on.

Purchased a pulse companion in September 2024 from an Alert-it distributor for over £500. Some 10 months later in July 2025 the clip which attaches the charging lead to the arm monitor weakened and broke off. I contacted the distributor who contacted Alert-it. Alert-It refused to replace the charging clip under warranty. Gives a good indication as to how firmly they stand by the quality of their products.

Bought the Doro 2820 for my elderly mum. After receiving 13 simple sms text messages the phone says storage full and won't accept any more incoming messages. When I called tech support Doro said just 20 texts can completely fill the memory as the 4g capability takes up most of the memory. Never had this problem with her previous 5 year old Doro. Absolute waste of time and money.
Edited to add: I installed an SD card 3 months ago and it made absolutely no difference to the number of texts I could receive until storage was full; still just 20-30 texts maximum. SD card provides further storage for media, not SMS, so pointless advice from Doro.

I've been with Lyca Mobile for 3 months now. Where I live it gives good signal for data and calls. However, despite having a direct debit set up when joing them, they took one payment and then keep sending messages stating they have been unable to collect the next payment due. When contacted they say they'll get back to you within 24hrs but then you never hear from them again. I've had to make a manual card payment to them even though there's a live direct debit set up. They are a pain to deal with. Steer clear of them. Their cheap prices mean administrative hassle for you. Lebara in comparison were great to deal with and my time with them went perfectly smoothly.
Edit: After making a manual card payment Lyca took a direct debit 2 days later meaning I paid twice. And now 1 month later Lyca have done it again. Another email saying there's an issue with the direct debit, despite telling me it was an issue at their end that was resolved. Clearly that's incorrect so I've now requested my PAC code to leave these incompetent fools.

Been with EE mobile for 8 years now and things have become progressively worse, to the point where I'm so excited to be leaving them in 3 weeks! Despite raising several tickets over the past 12 months complaining that I (nor over 30 of my colleagues) no longer receive a data signal in or around our work location where prior to a year ago the signal was excellent, EE repeatedly respond stating there are no known issues in that area.
So I'm off to Vodafone who's data signal is perfect there.
EE really should be called nothing anywhere

Called the automated phone line to give meter readings as I have been doing for the past few years. However, today for some reason it insisted on putting me through to a 'human' to do this. After 45 minutes listening to on-hold music I had to admit defeat and end the call due to boredom. A shambolic dinosaur of a company. Best avoided.

Birthday card ordered on the morning of 19th June. It eventually arrived 26th June.
When I checked my online credit card statement it showed that funky Pigeon had charged my card twice. No response from funky Pigeon when I submitted their online complaint form. Fortunately my credit card company cancelled the duplicate payment as soon as I informed them.
Far from impressed with my experience with this company.

Order sent to wrong house 2 doors away. We went out and told the delivery driver the order was for us and showed him our confirmation details showing our correct address on it. Despite there being no answer at the wrong address he refused to hand the food over to us and drove away.
Impossible trying to obtain a refund from Uber so we've paid for a meal we never received. Absolutely fuming. Please avoid this terrible company.

Ordered a bottle of perfume online on 18.12.22 for store collection 4 days later. It still hadn't arrived by 29.12.22. Contacted boots who classified the order as missing and they reordered the item, again for store collection, with a collection date of 4.1.23. At the time of writing this on 6.1.23, after contacting boots, I still have not received my order, they cant get any response from the store and they don't know where the order is. Little wonder they have such a poor rating on trustpilot. After this experience I wont be buying anything from this company again.
