Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service. I need help now! I bought an item online that is no good, so took it back to one of their stores to return it but was told I couldn’t do that at the store, it needed to be online. But of course NO customer service number! Have to try and muddle my way through it via online chats!! And of course waiting hours! I will never ever shop in this store again, in person or online. They don’t give two hoots about customers. So I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

Who is getting the money?!

I pay direct debit monthly for this but going to cancel. Why do they only tell us £1000k winners although they have massive campaigns for people to buy tickets for the monthly draws where the postcode would share many millions. But not a word and you can’t find it online. Really starting to think this is a scam. I’ve emailed to ask - but nothing. Shocking! Who is getting the money?

Shambolic company!!

I bought a pair of trousers on Vinted, I received two wee plastic bracelets. When the seller complained, Vinted messaged me (although no ability for me to reply) and said to either click ‘contact us’ in chat with seller to show photo evidence, or click help and choose adequate topic. There was NO contact us button and when you click ‘help’ there is NO adequate topic. Do they do this so you’ll give up?! SORT IT OUT VINTED!!!

You’ve sent me the wrong parcel

You’ve sent me the wrong parcel. You e put label on wrong one. I was waiting on trousers and two bracelets arrived. The seller has never seen them before so it must be your fault. You’ll need to sort this mess out.

This company’s behaviour is affecting my mental health

I’m going to keep putting reviews up until So Energy stop hounding me for a bill that isn’t mine, but is my neighbours. The energy ombudsman did a full investigation, found So Energy at fault, they had to write me an apology letter then the account was settled and closed. I have all this email and ombudsman evidence.
But STILL So Energy hound me for money!!! Seriously?!?! The ombudsman has written again twice asking them to stop but they just ignore her and continue to hound me.
This is affecting my mental health,

Worst energy company on the planet

The worst energy company on the planet!!! Still after months of paying my final bill and closing my account they’re still hounding me for money. The energy ombudsman has told them to stop. My MP has told them to stop. But still they continue because they are a shambolic mess of a company. Sort it out!!!

If you had a dispute for the final meter readings (Or opening reads with your new supplier) after the initial final bill was received, this may have resulted in an updated final bill which would be reflective the the opening read your new supplier has used which is validated by industry and sent to us to use as the closing read.

Customer service dreadful

Ordered a couple of things online and immediately realised I’d made a mistake so tried to cancel. No way to do this as wouldn’t let me access my account, said details were wrong so twice I asked to send new password link but never came. Tried again to access account wouldn’t let me. I was in store at the time - both items only available online - but staff couldn’t help either. Contacted customers service on messenger around 10am, it’s 7.52pm and still nothing, very very annoyed!

Shambolic mess of a company

If I could give zero I would. After two years of hell due to So
Energy taking over the wrong energy supply and that leading to absolute chaos with Scottish Power, the ombudsman raised a case, and So Energy has to write me an apology letter, refund me some money, agree final bill and close account, which was done.
I moved the Octopus who have been supplying my energy since Feb.
So Energy incredibly …. Are hounding me again for more money, they still seem to think I’m with them.
This is the most shambolic mess of a company I have ever ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Run and mile from them for the sake of your mental health.

Got an email saying parcel has been delivered to front porch. No it hasn’t . Disaster of a company. No idea where my parcel is. I’ll be stopping using companies who use this mob to deliver.

Above and beyond customer service!

I recently moved to Octopus following an awful experience with another energy provider. Octopus have been nothing less than outstanding in terms of their customer service. I’d like to specifically single out Hannah, who I communicated with via X private messaging (which was very handy!) Hannah help me set up my electric car to charge overnight so I could take advantage of the low cost tariff, but I was having problems doing this due to my car app not communicating with Octopus app. Hannah went above and beyond to find the solution to this, which she did! She was so incredibly diligent, persistent, professional, pleasant, and kept in close touch with me. Thank you again Hannah, your help and support was so much appreciated.

I decided to change to octopus energy after a two year nightmare with So Energy and Scottish Power (long story).
I have been so impressed by the customer service I received today both in person at Silverburn with Liam and on the phone just there with Emma. Incredibly professional, knowledgable, pleasant and very efficient both of them. And the icing on the cake is that I’m paying significantly less for my electricity and gas which is fabulous! And such a seamless switch over to Octopus. Clear instruction on how to use the app and exactly what will happen moving forward.
No idea why they don’t have 100% of the market.
Well done Octopus, you do excellence well.
