I had a rug delivered damaged by courier on the 20th December still have the rug now after twice failed to be picked up is a nightmare as had to find time to stay in and change my working hours and rug is apparently not from The range like I first thought it’s from a third party and takes 72 hours before they reply to your email
So think twice before you buy from the range

Waited and damaged
Waited for my order, had to chase it up, link didn't work and when delivery made.. Items damaged. One thing putting goods in a box, but if no packaging securing... Goods delivered damaged, certainly won't be ordering via range again

I ordered a canvas picture paid extra for express delivery which didn’t arrive on agreed date! And also arrived damaged on bottom right corner!
Good experience.
Easy to order plenty of choice. Reasonable prices. Kept informed about order and delivery. It was on time and put where I asked.
I put the chair together. Instructions were very bad so took a while. So took a star off.
Overall a good experience.
Fast delivery, excellent quality and great price!
Fast delivery, very good quality product and cheaper than your competitors, thank you!
Debacle
Staff member was clearly displeased that he had to move from his stool.
Very slow process considering click and collect is supposed to be speedy.
Exacerbated further by the fact that I was told I had to walk across the whole store to the tills to exit, will not be using again.
First order on line great service
They fit with people's needs
They have excellent value products of great variety, often going there for weekly supplies; the most recent venture was for shelving and which I found to be exactly what was needed and again competitively priced, only when requiring baskets to sit on the shelves I was stuck looking around but then thought...'Why don't I look at The Range website, again' and sure enough they had all needed for the project.
Contact whether with staff at the local outlet, via chat, or by phone has always proved beneficial and cannot fault this company.

The Range usually has everything i need when I visit. The big problem are the aisles are over stacked with pallets and hence not wheelchair friendly.
Click & Collect Ordeal
This was my second time using the Click & Collect service via Homebase, (2 different stores) and the second time the Collect experience was an utter ordeal. Both occasions I presented to Customer Service and both times a call was put out for the specific staff member "that deals with Click & Collect". Both times again, that person never showed up and further calls were put out for different staff members. Focusing on the latest occasion, calls to 3 different people were put out with no response while I could only stand about waiting like a spare tool. Somebody who I now know to be the store manager arrived and I was pointed out to her but there was no interaction. No reassurance. After >20 mins waiting I walked up to her and asked how much longer I was going to have to wait to get my order and she just pointed to another staff member who was actually having an argument with another customer and walked off... This person took my order details and after another 10 min wait eventually came back with my order. All in all, I waited ~35 mins to collect a 2-item order that I could have picked up from the aisles and paid at checkout in <10...
The Range/Homebase need to take a long, serious look at sort of experience they're currently providing Click & Collect customers, and, take out the blatantly obvious single-point-of-failure of only having a single person in-store capable of managing these.
I ordered a faux marble dining table…
I ordered a faux marble dining table from the Range only for it to break in half after a few months. They have no contact telephone number to speak with someone all you get is a live chat, email, or whatsApp option. Got hold of someone on live chat and a replacement was sent out only for that one to arrive in broken pieces. All the Range offered was a refund or replacement. I went for the refund as won't be ordering anything from them again. Was told that they would refund once they receive the collected item. They collected the broken table on Saturday 7th Feb. I chased today for the refund but was told via live chat that they still haven't received the item from the courier so won't be processing any refund until received. I was then told to wait 14 days before contacting them again to chase! Completely unacceptable customer service from them.
Ordered cushions
Ordered cushions, received email almost immediately ready for collection. Went next day picked up at the till, no problems excellent service.
Shocking customer service
Shocking customer service. I need help now! I bought an item online that is no good, so took it back to one of their stores to return it but was told I couldn’t do that at the store, it needed to be online. But of course NO customer service number! Have to try and muddle my way through it via online chats!! And of course waiting hours! I will never ever shop in this store again, in person or online. They don’t give two hoots about customers. So I’ll spend my money elsewhere.
