Excellent and Smooth Renting Experience with Homewise
I came across an apartment listing from Homewise in Bremen, and my overall experience was very nice and smooth.
I applied online, and every step of the process was clearly explained from the beginning. The appointment and apartment viewing were quick and well organized. I would especially like to thank Frau Silke for her excellent support via email and phone calls. She made sure that everything was clearly communicated right from the start.
The contract signing was done online via Zoho, which was very easy and convenient. The entire process was transparent, fast, and stress-free.
I would definitely recommend Homewise to anyone looking to rent a house or apartment with ease.

Great experience with Homewise
I have only recently moved to Homewise for them to manage my German apartment. Communication has been excellent and timely, first with Merve in Leipzig and now with my local representative Dennis Schult in Dusseldorf. Both called me to introduce themselves (in English, which I was very pleased with) and all my paperwork and queries have been responded to quickly and effectively. The transfer from my existing agent seems to be going smoothly.

Smooth and Supportive Rental Process
My experience with Homewise has been really positive. Everyone on the team was friendly, understanding, and very supportive throughout the process. They helped me finalize the contract quickly so that I wouldn’t lose any rental days.
A special thank you to Ms. Emine Dugall, who took the time to work with me throughout the day to ensure everything progressed smoothly. Communication was always easy, and they were very open to finding solutions together.
My only suggestion for improvement would be to reconsider the requirement for long-term residence permits, as obtaining them can be difficult on short notice due to long appointment wait times in major cities (especially Munich).

Mixed opinion on homewise, good work from managers
I have mixed opinion on homewise as a tennat. Right from the start we had several problems, that I considered minor and was expecting to solve them rather quickly, like getting second key from the house or getting meter number to register with electricity provider. Somehow it required 3 months(!) and multiple emails and calls to solve them.
However, I would like to highlight our property manager Cagla Velioglu, all 5 stars are dedicated to her. She was really helpful all the way.

A challenging experience overall, but recent improvements with new property manager
Over the past three years of using Homewise services, my experience has largely been frustrating. Frequent staff turnover meant I had to repeatedly explain ongoing rental matters, follow up on standard tasks, and sometimes correct accounting and communication errors — issues that shouldn’t arise with a professional property management service. At times, it felt like I was the one managing things from abroad, rather than being supported by the company I was paying to do so.
However, in June, I was assigned a new property manager, Ms. Feyiz, and this has brought a noticeable improvement. She has been methodical and proactive in addressing a backlog of unresolved items, and I appreciate her professionalism in managing delicate conversations with my tenant — often resolving matters without needing my direct involvement.
Thanks to Ms. Feyiz’s support, I feel more confident and hopeful about my ongoing relationship with Homewise.
