Totally useless delivery service in Nelson. Not helpful, wont go out of their way to help. Communication terrible..wont recommend

Excellent communication around delivery times. Friendly, helpful delivery person. 6 Boxes in the delivery, all arrived together in good order

I had a big diesel motor transported from bluff to hobsonville Auckland. They collected it from bluff Thursday afternoon and it was in my possession Monday morning very reasonable price too. Fast, efficient, cost-effective. My first experience with mainfreight and in my opinion they are outstanding. Thanks guys

Slow, no communication, no feed back about anything.

The Damage they did, and denied ruined tens of thousands of dollars in a shipment. They are SCUM OF THE EARTH

If you value clear communication, accountability, and basic professionalism, avoid Mainfreight. We paid upfront for a delivery they did not perform, and getting a simple refund has turned into a weeks-long ordeal. We were passed between staff, given conflicting information, ignored for days at a time, issued a “credit note” instead of a payment, and still have not been refunded despite providing our bank details over a week ago.

For a global logistics company, the treatment we received was unacceptable. We won’t be using Mainfreight again, and I strongly recommend others consider alternatives.

I got 2 separate orders from 2 separate places, arrived 2 days apart, both damaged to the point that I can’t use them. One was a table with the top completely snapped in half. The other a couch where the bottom looked like someone slashed it with a knife.

What a ripoff Company, quoted me $8000 to have a 3 Ton Komatsu PC30 Excavator transported from Auckland to Riverton New Zealand, Used another company called KW Road Haulage and it only costed me $2180... the Excavator itself is only worth a bit more than what Mainfreight quoted me lol.

Horrible experience. They delivered the same order which consisted of 2 packages in 2 parts and 2 weeks later than planned.

Again Mainfreight have failed to deliver in a timely manner. 6 days delivery timeframe from Sydney to Melbourne is unacceptable particularly when the shipment sits in the delivery warehouse for 5 days.

Friendly delivery men and put my item inside as I couldn't lift it.Great!

2 weeks wait for a pickup

You have a superb personnel, Ms. SARENA, @ pickup, 2 Rail Lane, Favona, Auckland with her charming personality, helpful attitude with smiling face to everyone around has impressed me very well.i consider her as a great asset to your organization and wishes her and family very well. I’m so happy with Mainfreight as last Friday I asked them to deliver my Peace lily mattress as soon as possible as I had already throw in my old one away and I spoke with William in Auckland and he said he would try to help me out and it arrived first thing this morning on Monday and I’m so happy they went out of their way to please me as a customer. The delivery man was wonderful. thank you

Slow to pick up, poor communication, slow to deliver. The delays have cost me over $2000 in lost revenue as well as customers who are unlikely to return. 3 Staff sent home for a week, hope they come back. Plenty of other work for cafe staff. 😡

Items pickup from supplier 13 Jan 25, today 12th FEB am still waiting for delivery to Wellington, sent several emails to Mainfreight asking when will delivery be made-- Absolutely No Response.

They are hopless-DONT use them.

Worst freight delivery service in the Manawatu, items were supposed to be delivered on a Monday, between a certain time period, however i left a note, stating no one would be home until a certain time, they came anyway and left a ripped piece of paper for me to rearrange a time, i go about doing this and the 2 or 3 customer service ladies i dealt with, were the worst people, sassy attitudes, combined with a "its not my job to fix your problem" tone, made me feel like i wanted to walk down to the Mainfreight warehouse and confront their faces in person!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE!!!

I want to offer my thanks and gratitude to mainfreight staff, who went well beyond the 11th mile to get a fridge and washer to me today. Thank you very much.

The delivery was going well until they drove out the gate and didn't stop to close it. Staff should know that if you have to open a gate then it needs to be closed on the way out. It's common courtesy!!!!

Really poor. No update why item is late. Then they will reschedule for how many times. No calls no info. Really poor service but drivers are friendly. Happened to me twice. Which is BS
